As I write this letter, I think summer has passed, and I hope you each had a great one and were able to domany of the things you had on your bucket list. The Good Neighbor Club enjoyed 13 days traveling to the

beautiful area of Alaska—and while there we were fortunate to enjoy seeing the Northern Lights whilecruising, which were spectacular. November many of our GNC Members will be enjoying our much

anticipated trip to Peru including the Galapagos Cruise. You will find in this newsletter an insert for ourupcoming trip to Jekyll Island, Savannah, and Charleston. I have requests to travel to places within our

country where you don’t need passports, so I have listed and booked this amazing trip. I look forward tohaving you at our travel show Tuesday, October 17th.

We are going to change up our Holiday experience and have the opportunity to view the Bachman HolidayHouse with a self-guided tour along with time to enjoy coffee and/or shopping at Bachman’s. Our tour atBachman’s will begin at 9:30. We will then travel to the Ridgedale Mall and have time for shopping and

enjoy lunch at one of their many eating establishments. Ridgedale Mall has completed a very large updatingproject and has added several new stores and food establishments.

Christmas for Kandi Food Shelf and the LinkThursday, December 7th at 1:30 pm GNC Room in Willmar

Once again I will be accepting donations from Good Neighbor Club Members along with employees of ourbank. If you wish to donate cash it can be left at either of our banklocations along with gifts you may wish to donate. Clark, our bank

President, matches all of our donations. These gifts will be distributedto children through the Food Shelf and the Link. On Thursday, we will

be wrapping the gifts. It is being done a little earlier this year tofacilitate the food shelf in distributing these gifts. All help in wrapping

is appreciated. Coffee and treats will be served.

Christmas Centerpiece DayFriday, December 15th at 2:00 in the Good Neighbor Club Room in Willmar

Our much anticipated flower arrangement day with Lake Bloomers—Gwen and her staff will be herecomplete with vases and flowers for us to work our magic on while we enjoy coffee and Christmas treats.

Sunny Palm SpringsJanuary 22nd-February 3rdSpace is still available for our vacationing in the Oasis. Japan Spring Flowers and Golden CruiseApril 18th—May 2nd

Join your GNC Members as we fly to Tokyo and enjoy an evening at the comfortable airport hotel where wecan relax and start to soak in the atmosphere of the Ori-

ent. We will board the beautiful “Diamond Princess” andbegin our cruise. Some of our stops include the Kanmon

Straits, which is the stretch of water separating two ofJapan’s four main islands. The second largest city in

South Korea, Busan, is our gateway to a fascinating landwhose culture is a unique amalgam of old and new. We will visit Saliminato, Kanazawa, Hakodate, and

Aomori. Aomori derives much of its beauty from the apple orchards and cherry blossoms that encompass itslandscape and the snow covered Hakkoda Mountains that look out from a distance. We will have additionaltime to spend in Tokyo and continue on to Kobe which is the fifth largest city in Japan before we transfer to
