WELCOME!

GOALS FOR THE EVENING• Learn about Google space and how it

is managed• Chrome apps and extensions• Managing the Chrome Launcher• Brief introduction to several cool

Google-related tools• Follow up workshops?

Google Storage Space• 15 GB is the total free space you are

given for all your files, photos, mail• Google, docs, sheets, slides, and items

shared with you do not count towards our 15 GB

• Files in your Google email including attachments, and trash DO COUNT toward your 15 GB of space

• Photos large than 2048x2048 DO COUNT, as well as videos longer than 15 minutes DO COUNT!

What happens if you exceed your space limit?

• You will receive warnings in advance….heed those warnings and free up storage as soon as you can!

• If you DO NOT free up space you will not be able to sync or upload items to your drive or add photos.

• Additionally, over time, incoming email messages sent to you will be returned to the sender.

Make Your Launcher Work for You!

• I have called the launcher the tic-tac-toe board throughout our workshops ☺

• Now that you know some of the apps you prefer, rearrange the icons so they work for you!
