DailyRoutine:STARTofClass• Hanguppedometersandclasslistongymwall.• Turnonlaptopandopenupsoftwareforfirstclassoftheday.• Afterstudentsenterclassroom(elementarylevel)orexitlockerroom
(secondarylevel)theytaketheirpedometerandputitonattheirplacementpoint.Theyshouldknowtheirspotthatismostaccurate(30-steptest).
• Studentsresettheirpedometer.*Studentscandouble-checktheirplacementpointweeklybydoinga30-steptestontheirown.
• Studentsarenowreadyforwarm-ups.Atminimum,mystudentswalkthegymvisitingwhilemusicisplayingoranotherwarmupisoffered.
• Whilestudentsarecompletingthewarm-uptheteacherlookstothepedometerlistandstoragesystem.Anyremainingpedometersarestudentswhoaremarkedabsent.Takeattendanceandmoveontostarttheday.

• Findatimeframethatworksbestforyou.Irecommendallowing2-3minutesforaclassof35studentsusingthreedownloadingdocks.
• Afterlessonclosure,dismissstudentstodownloadstation/cart.• StudentsmakesinglefilelineandfillintotheopendownloaddocksOR
assignstudentstoacertaindock.Example:No.1–10usedock#1,No.11-20usedock#2,andsoon.
• Afterdownloading,studentswrapthesafetycliparoundpedometersotheydon’thangoutandplacepedometerbackinstoragesystem.Pedometersarenotallowedinthelockerroom.
• Teacherchecksallpedometersarereturned.Thehangingsystemallowsforaneasyvisualchecksoyouknowyoucandismissclass.
• Afterdismissal,checkthedatafromlastclassandseehowitalignsyou’reyourlessongoals.Getprogramreadyfornextclass.
