GÓRZEC

Górzec is one of the most interesting attractions in Męcinka.. Every year people come to mountain top. During the trip people come Way of the Cross.

HISTORY

The researchers think that Górzec was place pagan cult.

In the Middle Ages there was small castle.

In second half XIII place was belong to Cistercian order of Lubiąż.

In 1740 was made way from Męcinka to Górzec, where was made Calvary.

From the mountain top we can see watery area in Słup, Męcinka and Legnica.

From Centre of Męcinka to Górzec top are about 5,6 km.

From Bogaczów to Calvary are about 2 km.

Górzec it’s very important to Męcinka, because has got long history and traditions. Tourist are delighted and visit more and more often this place.
