About the FounderMr. Bojack

Mr. Bojack's company first gives thanks to “God” for the founder's talents in cooking and creation of food delights that many have become to love. Mr. Bojack's passion for grilling and cooking all began at a very young age. His father, as well as other family members would always gather on holidays, or just backyard weekend cookouts, and Mr. Bojack would always stand around near by and watch everyone prepare their special foods, and his father would start the grill, and make his special sauce.

As Mr. Bojack grew older and started travel thru out the United States Military, he shared his outdoor grilling experience with not only with my friends, but with people with different nationalities, they all seem to enjoy his cooking, and would share their praises by saying “More Please” or “This Is Heavenly Delicious”. Leaving the military, and hired by Orange County Government as an officer, Mr. Bojack opened a roadside-cooking stand, where he had an opportunity to meet and to grill for a large volume of people attending the Citrus Bowl Football Games in Orlando, Florida, where the flavor of Mr. Bojack’s Sauces attain it’s notoriety.

Mr. Bojack's wing sauce was created first and his family members never stop asking for it, and when his friend and now business partner had their first taste of his sauces, she started yelling and kept telling him to put this in a bottle and sell it in all stores. That is exactly what Mr. Bojack did indeed. Make sure you experience all of Mr. Bojack’s Sauces, rest assure it is the “Taste you never had, and as the slogan says it is “Heavenly Delicious” Thank you for your interest in Mr. Bojack’s Sauces, there is more to come, stay tuned.

if you are like many, you are overjoyed that a new year has arrived; not just another, but a “new.” There is a difference between the two. “Another” could either be one or more of the same, or something altogether different. while on the other hand, “new” exists to you for the first time. There is no chance that you have experienced this one before. having something new presents the opportunity for you to regard this original experience differently from any other, although you may have had others similar to this, you just haven’t had this one. we have had new years before, we’ve experienced periods of 12 month intervals before; but never before, have we walked into the year 2012.

now that we are here, let’s make some early determinations about how we are going to handle our “new” season. Just

as we exercise caution in selecting what we bring into or who we allow to ride with us in our new car, we should be even more discriminating about what or who we allow to join us on our new journey. have you ever noticed how some people ride around with a bunch of everything in their vehicle; but when it’s time to get a new one, they throw away or get rid of all of the baggage and garbage they’ve been carting around in the old one? if the consequences and costs of what or who you would like to bring along are consumptive; cut it out or cut them off. if the behavior, habit, thought, emotion, plan or person is draining

everyone likes the smell of a new car. There’s just something about the freshness of the leather and carpet fibers that gives you that “I have arrived,” kind of feeling. Guess what? You have

arrived! You have come to a place and a season that you are experiencing for the first time. like driving that car off of the lot with 5 miles on it, you’re careful about what you bring into it. you’re careful about how you handle it, about where you park it, and are even more discerning about how you allow others to handle it. Mind you, this is a tangible, depreciable asset; unlike the intangible gift of time that we often carelessly and casually regard as something that we will always have. if we could ever become as discerning about time and space, as we are about our tangible treasures, perhaps our value systems would see some renovations and transformations.

8

Page 13: GospelNow Magazine Latest Edition

the life out of you, consistently killing your battery, trade that one in. whatever you do, don’t allow it to contaminate your brand new season. Then there’s the idea of how you handle your new season. Be sure to handle the new season with care. in essence, don’t live it recklessly; with little or no regard of its importance. time matters; and what you do with that time, matters even more. Make positive choices and decisions that are considered with respect to your purpose. you wouldn’t deliberately drive your new car into a pothole, so don’t run your new yeAr into a ditch…making dead-end decisions that leave you broken, confused, and frustrated. Then there’s the thought of where you park it. Typically, when you drive off of the lot in a new car, you don’t want it nicked, dinged or scratched. you carefully select parking spaces that give your new ride the best opportunity to keep its fresh appearance, even if it requires you to walk a little. you don’t park it next to dirty cars because these represent people who are either too busy to pay attention, or just don’t care.

you don’t park it next to dented, banged up vehicles, because if they don’t care about theirs, what makes you think they’ll even slightly consider yours? These vehicles represent the people who live recklessly, are miserable and discontented, and want you to be the same. don’t park your new year in spaces that expose you to damage and willful disregard. finally, there’s the idea of how you allow others to handle your new car. if you don’t handle your new vehicle carelessly, chances are, you’re not going to allow someone else to do it either. when you understand the value of what you have, your posture teaches others to respect that value. when you understand how great and precious you are, you demand that others graduate to that level of understanding also. in essence, you don’t hang out where you’re tolerated; you camp out where you’re celebrated. if you have one, you park your new car in the garage, to be protected from the elements. you don’t let your friends bring their trash and food into your new car and you make their “bay-bay” kids keep their feet off of your seat. you don’t allow others to damage and deface your new car,

so be wise and keep yourself out of harm’s way…away from harmful emotions, toxic relationships, and unproductive projects. embrace your new yeAr with pride and confidence that this one will be better than the last one. you’ll progress and produce more, because you’re more cognizant of the value of your new yeAr!

With all of the hoopla of New Year’s Resolutions, many of us get excited in anticipation of

fulfilling personal goals of health and prosperity. The only downside is, less than 50% of those who attempt a resolution fall short within the first 6 months, but there is hope! Instead of just setting individual goals, begin setting goals as a family. Something as simple as designating family dinner time, like the old black and white shows of the 50’s and 60’s, wherein everyone was home no matter what their schedules were like for dinner time. Granted, times were different and society was more driven towards family values; but what is stopping us from at least bringing family values back? Without these values, we are slowly losing our children to reality television, Ipods and video games. Many of us do not even use the dining room table anymore, except for special holidays, because we began using it as a place for storage. Let’s take our families back one step at a time, by bringing them together, by setting a time in which you the parent can reconnect with your child(ren). Here are 3 benefits to Family Dinner Time.

3 Benefits of a Family Dinner Time:

1. Conversations (Talk it Up)Conversations at the dinner table, especially when

the children can be engaged, have proven to expand a child’s vocabulary and reading abilities, regardless of socio-economic status. Family dinner is a time in which families reconnect by allowing the children the opportunity to talk and listen to their parents and siblings while they discuss his/her day and share any exciting news.

Suggestions for Conversation• Discuss the child's day. Ask questions that express your interest in your child's daily life.• Discuss current events. Bring up news appropriate to the age of your child.• Pick and choose. Create topics together; write them on a piece of paper and randomly choose one to discuss each night.• Let all family members talk. Be an active listener, and be sure your child learns to listen as well.• Encourage your child to participate. Do not underestimate your child's ability to hold a conversation.

2. Nutritional quality of the diet (Have fun with food)

Families that eat dinner together have shown to have better eating habits, such as an increase in fruits and vegetables. Some studies also have shown that families who eat dinner together tend to eat fewer fried foods and drink less soda. Family meal frequency also is positively linked to the intake of protein, calcium, and some vitamins.

Suggestions for Mealtime• Make cooking a family activity and include everyone in the preparation process.• Try fun recipes or old recipes with healthier alternatives.• Have theme nights such as Italian night, Mexican night, or Caribbean night.• Create your own original recipes using low-fat ingredients.

3. Development of Assets (Building Confidence)

Our kids develop their outlook on the world based on the people and environment around them. Family dinner time is an excellent opportunity to develop a positive perspective on one’s personal future and a positive self-identity. The constant connection with family opens up a dialogue about boundaries, parental expectations, high-risk behaviors, as well as discussing issues that kids may have dealing with self-esteem and/or motivation.

Other Family Dinner Suggestions• Have family dinners at least four to five times a week.• Turn off TV, radio, cell phones, and the like during dinner.• Enjoy positive conversation during the meal.• Spend at least an hour eating dinner, conversing, and cleaning up together.

So, if you are looking for something that you would like to try and hopefully follow through on for more than a year, put your faith back into your family values and sit down for some dinner and conversation. You never know what you can learn!

In an area of town where the majority of it’s residents are African-American females dominating the population by about 25%, and new home construction is virtually unheard of, one of Orlando’s oldest African-American communities has recently made history with the presentation of its

first Holiday parade. With local partners and businesses on board, the contributions of Orlando’s District 6 Commissioner, Sam Ings, the tireless efforts of The Hope Church of Orlando, led by Bishop Allen Wiggins, and the coordination of the bishop’s wife, Lady Deborah Wiggins, the fibers of the Washington Shores community have been strengthened again. Hundreds of area residents and supporters lined Bruton Boulevard and Columbia Street as the parade headed to I. Sylvester Hankins Park, at the intersection of John Young Parkway and Columbia Street, where families were treated to live entertainment, a toy giveaway, and food. The parade featured area churches, elected officials, civic organizations, the Maynard Evans High School cheerleaders and drill team, along with community staples, the award-winning Jones High School Marching Band and the Young Blacks in Action.

On behalf of Bishop Allen Wiggins and The Hope Church family, I thank you all for making the 1st Annual Washington Shores Christmas Parade and Celebration a huge success. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

a Stone of hopeBy: Rhielle Davis

"a black preacher, no official rank or title, who somehow gave voice to our deepest dreams and our most lasting ideas -- a man who stirred our conscience and thereby helped make our union more perfect." -President Barack Obama

Across the globe, many countries and cultures echo the sentiments consistent with the dream that Dr. Martin Luther

King, Jr. held for America, and the world at large. Celebrated in America as a national holiday, Martin Luther King Day holds monumental significance in the visions of human rights activists worldwide; those whose messages and mandates largely mirror that of the global reformer and “drum major for justice.” 2010 Nobel Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo, Afghan women's rights activist Sima Samar, and prominent Russian attorney Nikolai Alekseev continue the cadence of non-violent, peaceful protests for democracy and human rights while courageously contending with the voices of oppression and repression.

Hailed as the most successful social movement in American History, the civil rights movement gave birth to the migration of a people towards a corporate conscience of “liberty, and justice for all.” Although the efforts of Dr. King and other black leaders and activists met with paramount resistance, the hope of a gradual transformation of a people who refuse to remain polluted and separated remains in the heart of America. The struggle continues in courtrooms and classrooms, on playgrounds and battlegrounds, and on sets and steps, for the assurance of basic liberties and equal protection under the law for all citizens.

Twenty-six years of national observance, marking the 82nd birthday of Dr. King, should foster more than a parade and a picnic. The extraordinary leader’s message to each of us still rings from the “clay hills of Georgia to the mountains of Tennessee,” where the motivation to remain vigilant concerning our own peaceful pursuits should go hand-in-hand with our obligation to secure and ensure the liberties of our neighbors. Whether or not your day off, will become a day on, volunteering and demonstrating acts of kindness; allow this season, the semblance of a “mountain of despair,” with all of its economic frustrations and social intimidations to forge in each of us, an indomitable spirit to carry forth out of this period, a “stone of hope,” a foundation for future generations to build upon.

The recently dedicated 30-foot tall “Stone of Hope” Memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is the first to immortalize a non-president, and an African American on the National Mall. Tour the memorial at 1964 Independence Ave, SW, Washington, DC 20024, or visit www.mlkmemorial.org for more information.

have We Lost Sight of the Dream?

author: Xenia Bailey

Every year when we commemorate the birthday of MLK, we speak to the struggles of the 60’s and how our country has improved race-relations, and there is more equality in the workforce; but have

we as a people achieved justice for all or is there still more work to be done? Working with students on a daily basis I am noticing our youth have no concept that people were jailed, beaten, and died for them to have the right to be educated without segregation, worship together with people that may not look like them, and obtain employment beyond janitors, housekeepers, and cooks. Our youth have an attitude that they are entitled, I do not have to work hard to obtain my dreams, I expect you to give it to me. With that attitude, how can we continue to strive for equality that reaches beyond the borders of the United States, and expect our children to be successful in a global economy? It appears that the “the Dream” was only for our grandparents and parents, and our children have become complacent, and lack the will or motivation to do any more than “just get by.”

The Dream of MLK was a vision of prominence, a vision of growth, a vision of “you can with determination and God’s help.” But the Dream in 2012 appears to be violence against each other, corruption over courage, political infighting, and taking away capital from the middle class while the rich get richer and your children have no food to eat. Is this what MLK envisioned fifty years later as he gave his “call to action” speech August 28, 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C.? I believe the dream is to educate all of our children equally and not to pull money from the public school system and give it to private and charter schools; I believe the dream is to not have our fellow citizens not have adequate healthcare and our state and federal representatives have the golden parachute of care; I believe the dream is to not hire or promote qualified individuals but give positions to individuals that are not qualified, but they are the cousin or daughter of a friend; and I do not believe the dream is to have veteran’s who fought for our freedom become homeless, while banks are taking away and tearing down homes because of greed that we now know is predatory lending. The Dream is for us all to work together and build a union, because if anyone of us fails, we all ultimately will fail.

As we move forward in 2012, let us remind ourselves that the Dream has yet to be fulfilled; dreams are the highest pinnacles that only come true through perseverance. When MLK said “we can never be satisfied,” that statement is true. Becoming satisfied leads to complacency that leads to the perils of citizen’s rights being debased and generations of children believing they have no worth. Today, we need to invigorate unity, determination, and self-worth in order for the Dream of equality in all facets of our lives to live on.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day have now passed, and it is time to say farewell to the end-of-year festivities. January normally sparks resolutions and updated goals; but most of us celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) and pay homage to his sacrifices to demand equal rights for all people so we can live as one nation and not a nation divided. As I look around and see statistics of youth falling behind in education, declining socioeconomics, and the increase of broken families; I ask myself have we lost sight of the dream?

TaX TIPS- 2012Ready, Set, Prepared

Freedom Financial instituion - dawn Higgs

wow...did you know Tax Season 2012 is fast approaching? are you Ready, are you Set? let’s make sure you are preparing

properly for a great season. we at freedom financial institution want to share with you some very important “tax tips” to make sure you have time to prepare. with proper planning and preparation, there will be no delays in filing your taxes, and no exclusions of any credits and/or deductions you may be eligible for in the new year.

18 www.GospelNow.Net

#4: itemization eligibility- you may be able to itemize this year with qualifying expenses (ex. Mortgage interest, “paid” Medical expenses, (dental, orthodontist expenses, “paid”

property taxes, Charitable donations)

Hint: Tax Returns with many deductions carry “red flags” for the IRS, make sure you have receipts or financial statements for each deduction. -Also, bring all of this information with you at the time you file your tax return. Most financial institution statements are mailed at the beginning of the new year.

#5: Small Business or Contract workers – if you haven’t already, make sure you have good accounting records and/or receipts pertaining to your business expenses. Bring

your receipts and receipt totals with you to file your taxes. Playing the guessing game during tax preparation could cause a delay, as you want to make sure every credit and deduction you’re eligible for is captured.

-depending on your tax professional, you may be charged extra if he or she has to perform extra accounting work for you. So make sure you have good records.

-Most salaries for contract work are issued on what’s called 1099-Misc form. This is when the employer or the owner of the company does not take out fiCa and Social Security taxes before you are paid. These taxes must be paid at the time you file your taxes (form Schedule C), minus your expenses.

#6: FPlease be aware of organizations offering “free tax preparation.” Most Not-for-profit organizations are offering these services to the elderly, retired, and low income families.

Hint: Most of these organizations are not certified tax professionals, and most of them have the basic knowledge of tax preparation. i have had to assist clients who received iRS letters after the tax season because income was excluded, wrong deductions were taken, and some they were eligible for, were not given.

When you attempt to un-cook a delicious meal, make sure that all five tastes are present in the final taste and not one is missing. Each of the five tastes doesn't have to be strong, but just enough for a practical dish. For example, the strongest tastes in a garden burger should be sweet, spicy, and salty with only a touch of sour and bitter; but all five need to be present, otherwise, the garden burger will taste “bland.”

For sour taste, add: lemon, cranberries, rhubarb, lemon grass, sour grass, sorrel, tomatoes, rejuvelac, nut or seed, yogurt, or apple cider vinegar.

For sweet taste, add: dry fruit such as figs, dates, prunes, raisins; fresh fruit such as ripe banana, mango, peach, pear; apple juice, orange juice, raw honey, or fresh stevia leaves.

For spicy taste, add: garlic leaves or cloves, onion

leaves or bulbs, ginger, mustard greens or seeds, radish, horseradish, cayenne pepper, wasabe sea weed, fresh or dry herbs such as basil, dill, cilantro, rosemary, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla or peppermint.

For salty taste, add: celery, cilantro, dill, parsley, or sea vegetables such as dulse, kelp, nori, arame, or Celtic sea salt.

For a bitter taste, add: parsley, celery tops, endive, garlic, onions, dandelion, bay leaf, sage, poultry seasoning, or cayenne pepper.

When we prepare, we use recipes only as ideas, as general guidelines, or just for the ingredients. Then we adjust the final taste using a method of five tastes. There are thousands

of different tastes in natural food, but when we balance five major ones, the food is so delicious that everyone says, "Wow!” These five tastes are: sweet, sour, salty, spicy, and bitter. When you learn to balance the five tastes, you will make delicious food. When all five groups of taste buds on your tongue are excited, you will say, "Wow!"

How to Go RawHealing is possible! Vibrant health is our God-given right, and our responsibility. Here are 3 keys to health in hopes that it will inspire you to a happier, pain-free life.

Many people ask "How do I become Raw?” First off, you don't need to be 100% Raw to be healthy. You can be very healthy on an intermediate transition diet without taking it to such an extreme. However, if you are faced with a major health concern, you may want to consider 100% raw in many cases.

So...How does one begin the journey to better health? There are a lot of diets on the market today with one common denominator that explains why these programs succeed: they all require people to leave out certain foods from their diets without cheating! Foods like refined sugar and processed starches are completely omitted. Because of this, a person's health improves considerably. The reason the 100% Raw Food Diet is the greatest diet in the world is because you leave out everything that could make you ill and only keep in the best of foods.

It is critically important to understand that what you leave out of your diet completely, without cheating, is the way to ultimate health. What you don't eat is actually more important than what you do eat. I don't care if you eat Raw Foods until you are blue in the face; You are not going to fully heal unless you eliminate the cause, which means omitting certain foods from your diet. I like to break foods down into the following five groups:

• Animal Protein • Dairy • Refined Sugar - Cake, Cookies, Candy, Bakery

items • Processed Starches - Bread, Pasta, Cereal • Raw Vegan Foods - Vegetables, Fruits, Nuts,

Seeds, and Sprouts If what we leave out of our diet completely without

cheating is the way to ultimate health, then it makes sense to first eliminate the food groups that are most damaging to the body. The two most damaging food groups are the refined sugars and processed starches. THAT IS THE SECRET! That is what all those other diets do. Their plans require that you leave out the refined sugars and processed starches without cheating!

If you can do that alone, you are on your way to ultimate health. You can do that and live a very healthy life. I also recommend staying away from red meat and cow's dairy products. Those are not good at all.

For those who prefer not to go 100% raw, the Intermediate Healing Diet may be considered. Many of the foods people enjoy are on this diet plan, including some tasty substitutes that offer a healthier option: Tinkyada Pasta, which is wheat and gluten free pasta, brown rice, beans, baked potato, soy milk, whole grains, and sprouted grain bread.

There are certain rules in this diet, such as not mixing animal protein with starches and only eating 4-6 ounces of animal protein every other day. As long as you only eat the foods that are on this diet and nothing else, you can live to a very old, healthy age. If you want to take this Intermediate Healing Diet to the next level, you can eliminate starches, such as Tinkyada Pasta and Brown Rice. If you are already 100% Raw, you do not need to follow this transitional diet. It would be going backwards.

There are people who eat 70%, 80%, 90% Raw; however it is 70% Raw, while the other 30% of the time its pizza, soda, candy and cake. The problem is, if you eat more Raw Foods, chances are your health will improve; but you are not going to do nearly as good as you could if you left certain foods out of your diet completely without cheating. When you leave these certain foods out completely without cheating, this is when your body transforms, this is when your chemistry evolves, this is when your body becomes a more RECEPTIVE and IN-TUNE. Now let's talk about that second half of the phrase, WITHOUT CHEATING. If you cheat, even if it is only every once in awhile, you don't give your body the freedom to take its healing to the next level. Let's use an example of someone addicted to crack, using it every day. Let's say they quit completely, except once every two weeks. They will never detox the drugs at a cellular level. Why? To detox anything such as drugs, caffeine and nicotine, to processed sugars, wheat and dairy, it requires the source of that particular toxin to be stopped completely or the body will continue to store the toxin at a cellular level. Our cells are filled with waste from all of the years of poor eating, and they have expanded and grown to accommodate this waste. A certain amount of detoxification always takes place immediately as soon as the quantity of drug or food is reduced. To experience the next level of health, these

www.GospelNow.Net22

Page 27: GospelNow Magazine Latest Edition

buried poisons must be released. When you actually eliminate the drugs or foods completely, the toxins will leave your cells and now your body will have the freedom and the strength to take its healing to the next level. Once given this permission, the body will move toward even more perfection, and start to eliminate other toxins stored in various places throughout the body, making you cleaner and more sensitive. If you try to go backward, your now healthier, more refined system will not tolerate what it used to with the same silence. As you become cleaner your body will say, okay, you can't eat that food now without getting a runny nose, fatigue, headache, belly ache, and so on. If you stay consistent, the body will continue to detoxify and you will continue to feel better and better. Once the cells take their healing to the next level, you may find foods that never gave you a problem in the past are now unworthy to enter your cleaner system. Perhaps you are one of those rare individuals who will go to the next level of health by leaving certain foods out of your diet completely without cheating. More than likely you will experience the Famous Detox. Our bodies are comprised of millions of cells. These cells have been forced to inflate and expand in size to accommodate all of the waste stored in our bodies from years of poor eating. The waste is stored as gaseous carbonic acid. Once the harmful foods have been eliminated completely from your diet, the body doesn't have to work on those processed ingredients anymore, and immediately starts improving your cellular chemistry. Your oversized cells contract, shrink, and begin to pour out that gaseous waste. This "outpour" detox can be very uncomfortable. People get sick, feel ill or moody, and go through intense cravings for foods they used to eat. Usually, we blame the diet, become convinced it's not working, and start suspecting it could even be dangerous, and then we either quit or cheat.

I have found the best way to keep up with all of this waste being eliminated, is to keep the bowels open and free of constipation. The colon is the central waste station of the human organism. All of the waste comes here, including residue from the foods we eat,

environmental toxins, chemicals and drugs. Even if you have bowel movements three times a day, on a cellular level most of us are clogged up like a stopped sink. A filthy colon is where all disease begins. I recommend everyone do a series of colon cleanings when you start to release stored up toxins.

Juicing is not the same thing as blending. Juicing is when you use a juicer to extract the juice from the fiber and pulp of green veggies such as romaine, spinach, lettuce, kale, parsley, and dandelion. All of the fiber is discarded and you are left with Vitamin & Mineral Rich liquid. This is the best way to get vitamins and minerals in their most absorbable form. Your body just loves it, especially the Green Juices. Green Juices are actually a beauty secret. I can tell when someone juices greens.

Their skin is shiny, glowing and beautiful.

If you do three things - eliminate certain foods from your diet completely, colon cleansings, and juicing - your body will respond

immediately and you will notice. It is not an

easy process emotionally or socially. I recommend

taking it one food group at a time. The goal is to get rid of those

refined sugars, processed starches, red meat, and cow's milk products, and don't

overdo the animal protein or other processed foods. On a good intermediate diet, you can be

very healthy. You can also take it to the next level. There is no rush. You can eliminate one food group at a time, taking months or years for each group. Make it as slow of a process as you need. Just don't cheat.

I also suggest taking probiotics, enzymes, B12, and additional supplements while on a raw diet. For additional information on products and to join our support group or a private consultation, email us at [email protected] or visit our website at www.mynaturesdelight.com

Remember, your situation is not hopeless and you are not helpless. No one food supplement or medication can solve anyone’s medical problem. The body God has given has remedial capabilities to heal itself, once you leave out the cause of disease. Diet is the key. What you leave out of your diet completely is what heals you. Supplements are a great addition to a better diet.

Today, it’s our good fortune to live in an age in which remarkable advances in medicine are giving us potent new tools to help us live longer

healthier lives. As a pharmacist specializing in alternative treatments, I am always seeking new ways to help my clients improve their health. One new technology that I am excited about is Bio-Electric Stimulating Technique. It works to help your body strengthen and balance itself, recharging your body’s “battery!”

Bio-Electric StimulationThe unit works through the most basic and plentiful

substance in your body – water! The human body is approximately 80% water. Water is an excellent conductor of electricity. The human body functions off of electro-magnetic signals. The brain sends signals to each part of the body and back to the brain. When cells have enough energy they are able to function properly. The new Bio-Electric Stimulating Technique uses an Energy Foot Spa that electrically charges water in a foot bath. The water (which your feet soak in) charges your body which allows the body to absorb vital energy on a cellular level, creating cell balance.

Once the body receives the energy, the body starts detoxing on its own. This may happen through the feet while in the bath, or through the urinary system, bowels and skin. As the Energy Foot Spa starts detoxifying and energizing on the cellular level, the body is able to release waste products more readily. The unit charges the water and the water charges the entire body. Similar to a car battery that charges a car, the human body greatly benefits from being re-charged.

At the end of an energizing foot spa treatment, the footbath will always be discolored. Much of this discoloration is due to the minerals in the water or the type of sea salt that is being used in the foot bath, and some of it may be due to the body releasing toxins from your skin into the water. This miracle is called the Universal Law of Vital Adjustment. This law has always existed and it always will. We can see as many proofs of this law as we want, in every blade of grass striving through the concrete, in every rabbit changing the color of its fur with the seasons, and in every human being surviving in today’s challenging and constantly changing world. It continues to amaze me how this Universal Law of Adjustment applies to every one of us in many ways.

When we understand this important law, we lose the fear that for some mysterious reason, our bodies could become ill and could kill us. Our bodies are dedicated to our survival, not our death. The disease-like conditions that our bodies create, such as coughing, sneezing, fever, pain of different kinds, high blood pressure, etc. are nothing but the body’s effort to survive. Ironically, when the body heals after taking pills, it most likely heals not because of, but in spite of the medicine. By suppressing symptoms, we counteract the wise efforts of the intelligent human body. According to the Law of Vital Adjustment, our bodies adjust to the changes in our environment, including the harmful changes, such as pollution, radiation, noise, lack of sunlight, etc. Similarly, the body adjusts to the consumption of harmful substances. It develops a new pattern that is actually the best way of coping with the situation. This pattern can quickly become a habit. That doesn’t mean that your super-intelligent body is craving harmful substances, but that it has adjusted to the poison. Unfortunately, our poor bodies have been forced to adjust to so many thousands of harmful circumstances, that they can scarcely distinguish the healthy from the harmful. I find it amazing, even amusing that the human body continues to survive in spite of so many damaging factors, like smoking, taking drugs, overeating harmful foods saturated with chemicals, spending lifetimes

indoors without fresh air or sunlight, nearly motionless, surrounded by high voltage electromagnetic fields and radiation, breathing in all kinds of pollution, showering with fluoridated and chlorinated water, experiencing constant stress, etc; and on top of that we adopt numerous smaller ills that seem so innocent, like wearing high heels and chemical makeup, sleeping in soft beds, wearing dark glasses, drinking coffee, eating candy and many more.

Every one of us is living with thousands of adjustments that our body has succumbed to in order for us to survive. We pay for each one of them with our health and life span. The way to better health lies in the unburdening of our organisms from having to adjust. However small, every effort towards natural living makes a difference. For example, eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, sleeping with an open window at night, wearing clothes made from natural fibers, drinking pure water, exercising, getting sunlight regularly, not suppressing sneezing, yawning and stretching, reducing stress, turning off electrical devices when not using them to rest from harmful electric fields, reducing use of soap and chemicals, buying organic produce, and thousands more, including giving your microwave to your enemy, no that would be wrong, better, the garbage.

Sometimes our body has adjusted to harmful habits so deeply, that it takes longer periods of time for the health benefits to surface. However, eventually there is a great possibility dis-ease will result if changes are not made. Consider starting the new year with better lifestyle habits.

your Body Never MAkES MISTAkES

Wouldn’t it be nice if every time your car broke down, it would fix itself? This sounds like a fantasy; however, this is just what your beautiful body can do! When you have a cut, the blood washes the

dirt out and seals the wound, the skin begins to grow faster and within a matter of days you cannot find a trace of injury. If you ingest poison, your body will create diarrhea or vomiting to purge the unwanted substance as soon as possible. In the case of any injury, our body knows exactly how to repair itself in the most efficient way. Every living thing is dedicated to survival, to prolonging its life to the maximum. Each organism will do its best to adjust to any change in the environment in order to survive.

CommoN raw Food mistakes7 !

1. Many do not eat enough greens. Solution: regularly consume raw green energy soup or green

smoothie to guarantee the proper amount of greens.

2. Many do not consume enough fiber, soluble and insoluble. Solution: Drink more smoothies or

energy soups instead of juices.

3. Many are often consuming too many fats trying to imitate cooked dishes, by substituting with

starches and nuts. For example, when making raw cakes, often a wheat crust with a nut mixture is substituted. Solution: use nut pulp left over from making nut milks, use more seeds and less nuts, and use more fruit and vegetable pulp from juices in your mixtures to minimize the consumption of nuts.

4. Many are commonly trying to become too perfect too fast. They don’t give their bodies a chance

to adjust to such a radical dietary change. Solution: gradually adjust and purify your own individual diet to help you ease into the healthiest diet for you, unless you are faced with a more challenging health concern.

5. When changing your lifestyle, there are other components that make up health that should

continue to be important, such as: sun bathing, exercising, proper rest, fresh air, etc. Solution: practice a well-rounded healthy life style.

6. Raw food lifestyle can lead many to over-indulge in some particular foods and neglect the variety of

other fruits and vegetables. For example, orange juice is very healthy, but in extremely large quantities it can be damaging to teeth and sugar levels. Large amounts of sprouts, berries, and anything else will inevitably create disharmonies. Solution: eat foods in reasonable quantities.

7. The biggest mistake that many make in transitioning to a Raw food lifestyle is not listening

to your body’s valuable message of communication to you. Solution: keep a diary of your daily food consumption and how it affects your well-being.

1. Camellia Seed Oil is a natural fatty acid known as an effective penetration enhancer. The presence of this oil in a conditioner aids in the delivery of other nutrients to the scalp and hair shaft.

2. Emu oil contains linloeic acid that has been shown to help the skin and scalp retain moisture. Emu also helps soothe skin issues such as psoriasis and eczema.

3. Evening Primrose oil as a plentiful source of essential fats, helps nourish the scalp.

4. Ginseng is anti-inflammatory and soothes the scalp while promoting hair growth. A diluted ratio of ginseng can be used as a rinse.

5. Citrus Extracts from oranges, lemon, and lemongrass can aid in cleansing and acidifying the hair and scalp when used in moderation.

6. Nettle is noted for its deep cleaning action and helps to stimulate new hair growth, a capacity also credited to ROSEMARY.

7. Tea Tree oil may help to ease dandruff and itching.Toothy tips

Green tea’s health benefits run the gamut from reducing the risk of disease to aiding in weight loss. The polyphenols, highly concentrated antioxidants found in green tea, help inhibit growth of bacteria that cause dental decay, halitosis (bad breath), strep throat, and several types of infection. Green tea also increases the acid resistance of tooth enamel, while being beneficial to good periodontal health. Neem helps freshen breath and stimulate gums in addition to cleaning the teeth. Tea Tree oil helps to gently remove dental plaque and tartar.Produce

You can find other tooth care products surprisingly in the produce aisle, such as:

Strawberries--rubbing a cut strawberry on your

teeth allows malic acid found in the berry to clean and remove stains. Eating raw vegetables also naturally cleans teeth and removes topical stains. Apples, pears, celery, carrots, cauliflower and cucumbers also cause saliva production, which combines with these foods’ natural fibers to help clean teeth and get rid of bacteria.Other

Other natural oral health remedies include aloe vera and licorice for cold and canker sores. The aloe vera plant, popular for relieving skin itches, burns and poison ivy also helps heal lesions both on the inside and outside of the mouth without the bitter taste or sting found in some traditional products.Skin Deep

A product you use on your skin should be natural enough to eat. For that reason, many new skin care products such as cranberry, pumpkin and Argan oil are endorsed by skin care specialists. Cranberries contain natural, gentle acids that exfoliate, and have wonderful antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. Take one-half cup of fresh cranberries, blend and strain the juice and add a teaspoonful of honey, which provides moisture, rub it onto your face, leave it on for two minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. For a cranberry toner, use pure cranberry juice (not sugary, commercial blend), put on a cotton ball with cool water. Cranberries are better for dry skin whereas pumpkin-based facial masks are better for oily skin. Pumpkin benefits sensitive skin; high in Vitamin A which promotes skin healing, while Vitamin C and Zinc soothe and moisturize, especially for sunburned skin. To create a mask, combine one-forth cup of pumpkin with a whole egg and apply it to your face. Relax with it on for 15 minutes and rinse.

Argan oil is rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids, and can be eaten as a dip for bread or mixed into salads as well as used in cosmetics and skin care products. The oil contains amazing moisturizing properties and is more resistant to spoilage than olive oil. Guava seed oil is great for its anti-aging and skin tightening effects.

Pure beauty starts on the inside—but it doesn’t stay there. You can replace potentially harmful substances in hair, oral and skin products with natural

ingredients that will let you look your best without all of the chemicals. Look for the following ingredients if your morning routine needs a healthy makeover.

Breakthrough Technology for Testing What Your Body NeedsIf your body could tell you what it needs to be healthy, what would it say? More water? A change in diet? Supplements? When it comes to optimum well being, your body can tell you what it needs, but how do you talk to your body to find out what that is?

We have incorporated an assessment tool to help give us another in-office tool (and Virtual - yes we can test you no matter where you are as long as you have access to the internet) to help qualify and quantify what is going on in the body!

Our painless technology allows us to communicate with your body. In conjunction with our other assessment technique, we can test your body to see which foods, supplements, and/or natural remedies are most compatible with it.

This personalized bi-feedback system is designed to measure one’s body's state of homeostasis. Much disease results from disturbance of homeostasis, a condition known as homeostatic imbalance. As it ages, every organism will lose efficiency in its control systems. The inefficiencies gradually result in an unstable internal environment that increases the risk for illness. In addition, homeostatic imbalance is also responsible for the physical changes associated with aging.

The technology has the ability to eaves drops on energetic cellular communication. This is done by monitoring the electrical changes in Galvanic Skin Response or GSR, the same technology used for over a century in equipment such as the polygraph test. Much like the polygraph, the same is sending stimuli to the body and measuring the responses. Everything on the planet has an electrical current. We are literally electrical beings in search of a recharge. Every electrical current is unique, like a fingerprint. A NASA scientist measured and identified the electrical current for 30,000 different energies -- foods, bacteria, pesticides, you name it. All of which have been programmed into

the software. This cutting-edge technology from the principles of Information Theory and Quantum Physics works with your body's ability to respond to stimuli in order to gather data and decipher stressors that may be affecting it.

Some examples of things that might be out of balance in your body are:

• Fatigue• Bacteria• Parasites• Allergens• Nutritional Deficiencies• Heavy Metals• Hormonal Imbalances• Mold/Fungus• Toxins• Viruses• Chemicals• Pollutants• Diseaseand more ...

How the testing is done:This technology is an interface between your

body through a bio-communication software in an ergonomically designed hand cradle. You simply rest your hand on the cradle while the computer sends digital stressors and gathers your response data. In this way, we can gather significant information about your body that is used to make more effective nutritional decisions. The whole experience is comfortable and painless; most people don't feel any sensation at all. To schedule or learn more about this technology email us at [email protected], or www.mynaturesdelight.com. Our office location is 3015 Cypress Gardens Rd. Winter Haven, Florida 33884.

What are your methods for involving yourself in the lives of your people as their shepherd and overseer of their souls?

When God called me to Pastor he plainly told me to be a mentor to every individual, which means because of my diverse background, I’m able to assist people in many ways such as Business Principles, Finances, Educational Development, Counseling professionally and spiritually.

How would you describe a successful pastor? How would you describe a successful church?

A successful Pastor is one who properly balances his family, personal and church life; and a successful church is one that applies the teachings of the word of God to every aspect of their lives. Success is not defined or measured by material gain or by natural accomplishments, but by spiritual practices, those things are the results thereof.

describe an instance when you made attempts to reform the church in some significant area. What were the results? What did it cost you personally?

When I hear the word church, I’m automatically thinking of the people not the building; so reform comes in the way people think and the actions they

display. I’ve seen the metamorphic transformation of people throughout my 33 yrs of preaching the Gospel go from WELLFARE to FAREWELL, GUTTERMOST to GET MORE, WORRY to WORSHIP, AGONY to ADORATION, the list goes on. Personally, it has cost me at times sleepless nights, petitioning God on their behalf and of course the personal sacrifices that are too many to name.

describe your leadership style? As a Pastor, I lead by example not only in the

word but also in worship. I’m at heart a praise and worship leader. I love music and the dynamics it has on Christian faith. I’m very charismatic with demonstrative preaching, and compassionate to the cries and concerns of people.

according to your observations, what doctrines need special emphasis in our day?

The Bible teaches us that the only doctrine for salvation is that of the Apostles (Apostolic Doctrine). The emphasis needs to be placed back on

the salvific message, which is true repentance, receiving the Spirit of God inwardly, the outward symbol of water baptism in Jesus name and the unfeigned, undeniable and infallible love of God. Matthew 24:12 “And because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold”. It is by this men will truly know you are disciples of God if we love one another.”

The number one product that has the quickest expiration is MASCARA. Mascara should be kept for no more than 3 months, especially if it’s being used daily. Because mascara is being applied to the eyelashes, this product gets closest to the eyeballs, so as it is used, it begins to pick up and deposit a certain amount of debris near the eye area. So if you notice your mascara beginning to clump or your eyes are getting itchy, it’s possible it’s time to buy a new tube of your favorite mascara.

The next product that should be replaced within 6 months if worn daily is lip-gloss. Lip gloss can also pick up and redistribute bacteria on the lips, causing cold sores and small bumps on or around the lips. If you notice that the lip gloss you’re wearing starts to develop an unpleasant smell, that’s a very good sign it needs to be replaced. Never share lip products with others, and if you must, squeeze the product on your finger and don’t apply someone else’s tube to your lips.

*Note: Whenever you go to try on lip-gloss in a boutique or store, NEVER, EVER DOUBLE DIP! You could be picking up someone else’s cold sore!

Liquid foundation is the next cosmetic product with an expiration date of a year to 2 years, if it hasn’t been opened or disturbed. Liquid foundation, if worn every day, typically last 6 months; but for those who don’t wear liquid every day, it can last up to a year. The reason this product should be discarded after a year is because if it has been opened and air gets

inside the product, it begins to oxide and over time not only will it start to change the color of your foundation a bit, but the freshness of your product won’t be as good. Just like most food products have a shelf life, so do certain liquid cosmetics. They are made with different ingredients and preservatives to maintain the integrity of the product, and once the product has been used and/or disturbed its clock starts ticking. As I mentioned earlier, if the product hasn’t been opened, chances are it’s still in usable condition; but if it’s separating and has a stale or unpleasant smell, chances are it should be thrown out.

Lastly, makeup brushes. This tool typically can last for years, but I’ve seen some brushes last only a few months! I have brushes that I have had for 10 years; I clean them every day with brush cleaner and once a week shampoo them with moisturizing shampoo. If you use foundation and eye shadow brushes on a daily basis, they need to be cleaned; if not, they need to be tossed out immediately! Brushes, if made of natural hairs, are porous, which means they are able to absorb easily and quickly. When used daily, brushes not only pick up cosmetic product, but they also pick up and deposit skin debris and oils from your skin. So, if you don’t clean or replace them, you run the risk of skin breakouts.

Well, there you have it; makeup tips to literally give you a fresh start for the NEW YEAR! Take the steps to keep your products clean and safe, so that you continue to be beautifully you,

Happy New Year!

Many times, I am asked are there expiration dates on makeup? The answer is a resounding YES! There are certain products that are not meant to be worn for more than 3 months,

and then there are products that can be kept for up to 2 years. With the New Year here, now is a good time to clean out the makeup bag or case and begin to replenish and replace old, used up, bottom of the barrel makeup with new fresh and hygienic makeup. It’s very important to pay attention to how long you have certain makeup products and how you care for them. I have put together a list of different types of makeup and their typical usage expirations.

G rammy-Award drummer, Inferno Music Group CEO, record producer, and music publisher, Will Covington,

has been appointed a member of the Advisory Committee of the Sound & Music Technology Program at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. This appointment was confirmed September, 2011 by Program Chair, Raul Valery. This committee helps the Program stay up-to-date on technological, musical, and business developments which are incorporated in Valencia’s course

contents; and students benefit by receiving the most current and useful information as they prepare for careers in the Sound and Music Industries. Will has worked in the music industry for over 40 years. He started his career as a freelance drummer and performed with the Ink Spots, James Brown, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Betty Wright, Raw Soul Express, The Commodores, and The Chi-Lites. He organized and was drummer with Miami’s Omari Band; and during his tenure with them, he produced their first worldwide hit single, “After Loving You” in 1983. It was his extraordinary drumming skills that gained attention of Blues icon, BB King, who hired him to record Kings 50th album, the Grammy-Award “Six Silver Strings” for MCA Records in 1985. Over the past two years, Will has spent hours in recording studios producing several clients which include Russian famous artist, Lili, Pastor Joan Brightharp (New York), Poet Alonzo McClain (Miami, Fl), Deadbolt Revival (Leesburg, Fl), Anotha Level Gospel Choir & Steve Marshall/Director (Tampa, Fl), Orlando artists Minister Ed Brown, Jr, Gospel Daytonnaires, Gwen Covington (wife), and So You Want Your Name In Lights Gospel Showcase Winners Jamarien Moore (Orlando) and Titus Lennon (Lakeland, Fl). His company, Inferno Music Group (IMG), expanded its services to include radio promotions and distribution because of the demand from his clients; he is currently developing options with partners who can assist him with improving these services. His face is familiar with Gospel Now Magazine readers where he develops IMG’s Top 10 Gospel music charts monthly. Will says he has never forgotten where he comes from; and this is why he knows the importance of helping others, especially our youth, to reach their goals. He volunteers with the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) Quartet Division under the direction of world-renown Gospel Legend, Tyrone Porter; and he sponsors the music mentorship project, So You Want Your Name In Lights. He has been awarded numerous accolades and is one of the recipients of “We Care” gold-record plaques, for producing this song which sold over 500,000 units to raise funds to support Ethiopian refugees. He has been married to Gwen (National Gospel Recording Artist/Entrepreneur) for 32 years, is the father of one son, Omari, (music producer) and a grand-father. Will admits that his journey has not been easy; but GOD has made it all possible. He is learning, and tells everyone he meets to “put your priorities in order and keep GOD first.”

On Monday, December 12, 2011, the Supreme Court announced what many supporters and opponents of Arizona SB 1070 long expected: that the Justices

will themselves have the final word on the validity of the injunctions entered shortly after the immigration law was enacted last year . Technically, the question before the Justices is simply whether four of the law’s provisions should be temporarily blocked pending resolution of a larger legal challenge . The Supreme Court may well provide broad guidance about what role, if any, local police and states may play in enforcing federal immigration law—which could in turn affect legal challenges to copycat laws in other states, such as Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina .

Earlier this year, the Florida legislators tried to pass an immigration bill but it did not receive the required number of votes . Since Arizona tried to criminalize illegal immigration on the state level, many immigrants left the state and the economy in Arizona has declined drastically .

How did the case get to the Supreme Court?

Soon after Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed SB 1070 into law, the federal government filed suit alleging its provisions conflicted with, and were thus “preempted” by, federal immigration law . A district judge in Phoenix entered a temporary injunction against four of the law’s provisions while permitting others to go into effect . A federal appeals court in San Francisco then upheld the injunction, causing Arizona to file a petition with the Supreme Court . The main issue is whether the states can enact their own immigration laws where federal immigration laws already exist in the areas where the states can try to enact legislation .

Which provisions of Sb 1070 will the Supreme Court consider?

The Justices will evaluate the temporary injunctions against the following four provisions of Sb 1070:

• Section 2(B), which requires local police officers to investigate the immigration status of any person they stop or detain whom they possess “reasonable suspicion” to believe is unlawfully present in the United States;

• Section 3, which makes it a crime under Arizona law for foreign nationals to fail to carry or apply for registration papers provided by

the federal government;

• Section 5, which makes it a crime under Arizona law for immigrants to solicit, apply for, or perform work without federal employment authorization; and

• Section 6, which authorizes local police officers to arrest foreign nationals whom they have “probable cause” to believe have committed an offense making them deportable from the United States .

The Justices could vote to uphold or overturn the injunction against all, none, or some of the provisions .

When will the case be argued and decided?

The Supreme Court did not set a date for oral argument, though it will likely occur in March or April 2012 . Regardless of when the case is argued, the decision, as always, is likely to come by the end of June 2012 .

If Arizona wins, will states have a “green light” to enact copycat laws?

Certainly not . At present, the Supreme Court is only considering whether the four provisions of SB 1070 should be temporarily blocked while the underlying legal challenge is resolved . In addition, the suit brought by the federal government involves a much narrower set of issues than a companion case brought by a coalition of immigrants’ rights groups . Finally, even if the Supreme Court finds the injunctions were not required against the law as written, it would not prevent future suits from challenging how the law is actually implemented .
