As American citizenscitizens we have the right to votevote for “who” we want to lead us at the nationalnational, statestate and locallocal levels. The people electelect leaders by votingvoting.

Our PresidentPresident is George W. Bush and our Vice Vice PresidentPresident is Dick Cheney. They were electedelected in the last PresidentialPresidential electionelection.

Our Louisiana GovernorGovernor
is Kathleen Blanco.
She was electedelected
by the people in the state.state.
We also have GovernmentGovernment electionselections at the ParishParish
Level.
This is our Vermilion Parish Court HouseCourt House. This is where all of our votesvotes are tallied after each election.election.
These men serve as our Vermilion Parish School Board Members.
Parishes have School Board, Police Juror, Sheriff and Clerk of CourtClerk of Court.
