Subject: - Recruitment to the post of Senior Residents on Adhoc basis in various

Departments in view of outbreak of covid-19 or till posts are filled on regular basis.

The Medical Superintendent, Safdarjung Hospital & VMM College, New Delhi

invites applications for appointment to the post of Senior Residents on adhoc basis for a

period of 89 days and may be extended further, if previous adhoc service found satisfactory

or till the post is filled up on regular basis, whichever is earlier in the various specialties of

this institution as per break up of vacancies as given below: -

NOTE: Vacancies may be increased or decreased at the time of selection/interview/counselling.

The number of vacancies, indicated as above, is provisional and subject to change without any

notice.

Mode of Selection: Interview through video conferencing

Eligibility Criteria:

The Candidate should possess Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (approved by MCI) in the

concerned speciality after M.B.B.S. failing which MBBS with two years’ experience in a

Govt. organization out of which one year in the concerned speciality.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ENDOCRINOLOGY- Desired qualification is MD/DNB in

Medicine or Paediatrics

ELIGIBILITY FOR HAEMOTOLOGY – The candidate should possess MD or

equivalent in Medicine or Paediatrics. Candidate with M.D. or equivalent in

Pathology will not be eligible.

Pay Scale : Rs.67700/- in Pay Level-11 of the Pay matrix as per 7th

CPC

plus NPA and other allowances as admissible.

Age limit : Maximum 45 years on the last date for submission of

Application (Relaxable as per Govt. of India rules).

Conditions of Recruitment:

1. Applicants should submit their application in the prescribed format as per Annexure-I

along with self-attested copy of DMC, age & experience certificate of SR, if any. One

passport size photograph should also be appended. The application addressed to the

should be submitted in DIARY & DISPATCH SECTION of this institution (near

Gate no. 2 and adjacent to Bank of Baroda, Safdarjung Hospital Branch). The

application send by post must be having written prominently on the top of the envelope

“Application for the post of Senior Resident in the department of

_________________.” LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION IS

26.05.2020 TILL 3.00 P.M. or eligible candidates may submit their application

on prescribed form as per annexure-I through e-mail “ao.academic @vmmc-

sjh.nic.in”

2. Undertaking in application form must be signed by the candidate.

3. The institution will not be responsible for any postal delay.

4. Crucial date for determination of eligibility with reference to age, educational

qualification and experience etc. will be the last date of submission of application form

in this institution.

5. Candidate must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council. DMC certificate for both

MBBS and PG is mandatory with application. However, the candidates, who have

applied for registration with DMC and have enclosed receipt of DMC, will be allowed

to appear in interview provisionally and they will be allowed to join, if selected, after

production of certificate of registration with DMC.

6. Other service conditions will be applicable as per service conditions prescribed from

time to time by the Govt. of India.

7. The candidate who is already in Govt. service should submit No Objection Certificate

from the employer.

8. Inter – hospital /Institution transfer shall not be permitted.

9. The candidate must bring following original certificates at the time of joining/medical

examination-

a. Certificate in support of age (10th

certificate)

b. Medical registration with DMC

c. Mark sheets of MBBS / MD /MS / DNB / part I, II and final year.

d. Internship Completion Certificate.

e. MD/MS/DNB/Diploma Pass Certificate.

f. SC/ ST/OBC Caste certificate in the prescribed format by Govt. of India.

g. Undergraduate and Post graduate attempt certificate.

h. Experience certificate, if any.

i. Valid address proof.

j. Copy of Aadhar card

10. No correspondence shall be entertained after the last date of closing of application.

11. Incomplete or un-signed application will be rejected and no communication will be

entertained in this regard.

12. No separate call letters for interview/counselling will be issued. Candidates are

requested to visit official website (www.vmmc-sjh.nic.in ) of this institution at regular

interval for all further notifications.

13. List of eligible candidates and selected candidates will be displayed on the official

website and notice board of Academic Section of this hospital.

14. Tentative date of joining will be 10 days from the date of issue of the result.

15. The candidate has to collect his/her offer of appointment from Academic Section after

display of final result. The offer of appointment will stand cancelled, if acceptance to

the post will not be received within the stipulated time period and the post will be

offered to the next candidate in the waiting list.

16. Application form as per Annexure-I can be downloaded from our official website

17. All the columns of the application forms must be filled. If any column is found left

blank, the application will be considered incomplete and incomplete application

will be rejected,

18. Self-attested copy of all the relevant certificates/documents in support of their

candidature to the post of Senior Resident will be taken at the time of joining and there

is no need to attach certificates/documents with the application except registration with

Delhi Medical Council.

19. The selected candidates can be posted anywhere in patient care/public interest in

emergency.

Jurisdiction of Dispute- In case of any legal dispute the jurisdiction of court will be Delhi

only.
