ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF CHAIRMAN-cum-MANAGING DIRECTOR IN PUNJAB STATE POWER CORPORATION LIMITED

Applications are invited for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director in Punjab

State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) at Patiala in HAG Scale of Rs.75500-80000

(unrevised) without Grade Pay.

CHAIRMAN-cum-MANAGING DIRECTOR, PSPCL:

a) Basic Bachelor's Degree of a recognized institution in Electrical/ Qualification:

Mechanical/ Electronics/ Computer Science/Civil/ECE/

Instrumentation Engineering/IT or a CA/ IOWA/MBA.

b) Age: Minimum age of 50 years at the time of appointment.

c) Experience: The person should have served for a minimum period of

twenty-five (25) years in a Central or State Public Utility or

Central Electricity Authority, and have an experience in the

field of electricity generation or distribution for a period not

less than ten years and has worked as Chief Engineer or

Engineer-in-Chief, as the case may be, in a Power Utility

Company or its equivalent, for a minimum period of two

years, during the aforesaid period of twenty-five years.

d) Superannuation The tenure of CMD shall be as per the terms and conditions & Tenure:

period of two years which can be further extended upto

maximum tenure of five years. However, CMD shall not

continue in service beyond the age of 65 years.
