6.Extra Curricular Activities with Complete Details:
The details of main extracurricular activities1. Sports: - The institute has participated in Inter polytechnic Athletics & Cultural Meet
which was held at Govt. Polytechnic Hamirpur from 10-04-2016 to 12-04-2016.The Students participated in H.P. Inter Polytechnic Sports Meet held in this campus w.e.f26/10/2016 to 28/10/2016.
2. Mock Drill:- Mock Drill on disaster management was conducted on 02-04-2016 with demonstration in the ground of this institution.
3. Anti Ragging :- Anti Ragging Committee, Anti Squad and Discipline Committee has been constituted and meeting related to the purpose is being held time to time in the institution.
4. Van Mahotsav :- A tree plantation day (Van Mahotsav) was celebrated in this institution on 24-08-2016.
5. Celebration Of National Days :-All National Days Such as Republic day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti,TeachersDay,Engineers Day etc are celebrated in the institute.
6. Clean India Campaign:- A cleanliness drive has been conducted in this institution from 1-10-2016 to 7-10-2016. All the staff members & students have participated in this drive.
7. Orientation Programme & Fresher’s Day:-An orientation programme was organised in the institute on 10-8-2016 for 1st Year students and they are made aware of ant ragging measures taken by institute. Also Senior students (3rd and 5th semester)have organised Fresher’s party for newly admitted students on 5-9-2016.
8. Young Leadership Training Programme:- Young Leadership Training Programme was organised from 14-08-2016 to 20-08-2016 and nearly 150 students have participated in the programme .
9. Drug De addiction awareness Programme: An informative lecture on drug de addiction was delivered by Doctor Tarun Sharma (M.D. Medicine) of Civil Hospital Kangra to the students of this institute on 5-9-2016

Achievements:
Institution has acquired AN ISO 9001:2008 certification. Adjudged as one of outstanding Polytechnic in the Northern Region for year 2010-2011. Adjudged 3rd Best Polytechnic Student Chapter for the year 2012-2013.
Various Labs and part of campus has been made Wi-Fi and free access is available
to students & staff of the institution.
5 KVA online-uninterrupted power supply (UPS) has also been installed in the
computer center as well as in language lab respectively for continuous & cleaned
