Expertise in Federation,Elasticity and Security
Federation• Federation solutions combine the capacity of several clouds for
better scalability and availability.• Gradiant has a running prototype of a solution for transparent
PaaS federation (Cloud Me Up project).
Elasticity• Automatic scaling of resources under demand.• Gradiant members have experience on the design and development
of elasticity solutions.
Security/Privacy• Encryption solutions for safe storage, management and processing
of sensitive information in the cloud.• Gradiant has developed SW for transparent encryption of
documents in Google Docs (SafeGDocs). Also, Gradiant develops SW and HW solutions to ensure data privacy in the cloud, for example to manage health records.
