FRANK KNOX MEMORIAL FELLOWSHIPS (Harvard University)

Award A Knox Fellowship pays full Harvard tuition and mandatory health insurance fees and provides a stipend sufficient to cover the living expenses of a single Fellow for a 10-month academic year.

JULIEN MEZEY DISSERTATION AWARD (Worldwide)



Criteria The Association seeks the submission of outstanding work from a wide variety of perspectives, including but not limited to law and cultural studies, legal hermeneutics and rhetoric, law and literature, law and psychoanalysis, law and visual studies, legal history, legal theory and jurisprudence. Scholars completing humanities-oriented dissertations in SJD and related programs, as well as those earning PhDs, are encouraged to submit their work.

Award A minimum scholarship of Cdn $5,000


Criteria To a student registered in a doctoral program at a Canadian university. To be eligible, candidates must:

Be a Canadian citizen, or have landed immigrant or convention refugee status from April 30th of the year prior to application;

Be registered in a doctoral program at a Canadian university and have completed their comprehensive examinations, or equivalent, and have had their Doctoral thesis proposal accepted by April 30;

Have a first-class academic record in the graduate program.

Not hold scholarships that exceed in total Cdn $25,000 inclusive of the J. H. Stewart Reid Memorial Fellowship Trust.
