The Mousetrap is famous around the world for being the longest running show of any kind in the history of theatre, with over
26,000 performances in London. This record-breaking 60th anniversary production is back by popular demand in 2016 starring Louise Jameson (Doctor Who, EastEnders,
Doc Martin) as Mrs Boyle.
The scene is set when a group of people gathered in a country house cut off by the snow discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in their midst. Who can it be? One by one the suspicious
characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the last, nerve-shredding moment the identity and the motive are finally revealed.
In her own inimitable style, Dame Agatha Christie has created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate
plot where murder lurks around every corner.

The hysterical and uplifting show is packed full of
one-liners about hot flushes and memory loss,
backed by an instantly recognisable soundtrack of
parody versions of pop classics. This all-singing,
all-dancing comedy is set in a department store,
where four women with seemingly nothing in
common meet by chance at a lingerie sale.
AUDIO DESCRIPTIONAudio description brings alive what is
happening on stage for people with sight
problems. It describes the action, scenery,
facial expressions and costumes. We offer
pre-performance notes and touch tours
where available. These enable you to
receive a description of the set or the ability
to visit the stage before the performance.
They also give details of scenery, props
and on some occasions, an opportunity
to meet the actors.
CAPTIONED PERFORMANCECaptions give deaf, deafened and hard of
hearing people access to live performance.
The actors’ words appear on a display unit
(or units), placed in the set or next to the
stage, at the same time as they are spoken
or sung. Speaker names, sound effects
and offstage noises are also shown.
RELAXED PERFORMANCERelaxed performances are aimed at anyone
who would benefit from a more relaxed
performance environment including people
with an Autistic Spectrum Condition,
sensory or communication disorders,
or a learning disability. The atmosphere
in the auditorium will be relaxed to provide
a more supportive environment - a bit like
the quiet carriage on the train, but the
opposite! Audience members will be free
to come and go as they please throughout
the performance and make noise if
they want to.

access performances please visit the
