The Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools Education Foundation is a
registered charity that supports the enhanced learning opportunities
of students in Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools.
• The Foundation Board is composed of individuals who are
passionate about education and the opportunities that can be
provided to GSACRD students.
• Every student in grades nine to twelve enrolled in GSACRD Schools
is a general member of the Education Foundation. All parents of
enrolled children, all staff members, and all those who support the
Foundation’s mission are also members.

What is itEvery year the Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools Education Foundation provides two, $1000 scholarships, to the two
most eligible applicants* as decided by the Education Foundation Board of Directors. Successful applicants will have
demonstrated a commitment to service in their community, an appreciation of the unique opportunities offered by
being a GSACRD student, and a plan for their future.
*The Education Foundation withholds the right to choose not to award the scholarship(s) in the event no suitable applications
have been submitted.
EligibilityThe Scholarship for the Future is available to all students who have graduated from one of the four GSACRD high
schools. The schools are: St. Albert Catholic High School, Morinville Community High School, École Secondaire Sainte
Marguerite d'Youville and St. Gabriel High School.
Students may apply in their graduating year and in the years following graduation prior to their twenty-first birthday.
Applicants must provide proof of acceptance to a post-secondary institution (University, technical school, community
college, diploma program, educational training/certification, etc.) upon application for this award. Applicants may
apply for this award in as many years as they meet the above requirements, keeping in mind the scholarship is only
awarded once to any individual.
