PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Transport Getting to Gdansk: With a plane: Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, www.airport.gdansk.pl From the airport to the Old Town:
City bus 210 from Gdansk Airport to Gdansk Brama Wyżynna (stop next to the Old Town) takes ca. 35 min and costs 3,6 PLN (0,80 EUR). Bus direction – “Gościnna”.
Train from the airport towards Gdansk Główny
We do suggest transfer by taxi (please remember to use taxis recommended by the airport, marked with “19896” number! Prices are NOT fixed but they should not exceed 60 PLN (ca. 14 EUR) during daytime and 80 PLN (18 EUR) after 10pm. Please fix the price with the driver before the ride!
Currency 1 EUR= ca. 4,25 Polish Zloty (PLN)
Credit cards are accepted in the most of shops, ticket machines and restaurants. Accommodation We recommend centrally located hotels, all in short walking distance to the venue. There are plenty of choices, though we advise to check prices both on hotel websites, and popular pages as booking.com, hotels.com etc., as prices do really vary depending on reservation method.
