Green Route founder Glen Byrom (65) has led a colourful and varied life. Born in Harare, Zimbabwe(then Salisbury, Rhodesia) he has lived there all his life. After a 16-year career as a sports journalist and television presenter, he started his own public relations and advertising agencies before being intrigued by the creative features of incentive travel. Thus Green Route was born at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, in 1991 as the pioneering specialist destination Management Company in all of southern Africa.

I am a native Zimbabwean, but settled in my adopted home city of Cape Town some 10 years ago, after attaining my degree at the University of Cape Town.
