Green Tirana Summer in SOS Village
Make It Possible Be a Solution
A project whitch aim to help children which don’t have their parental care through di�rente activites and to spend some time with them.
A summer school with high school students from all over Albania. Our aim is to inspire the future citizens of the world.
A project which aimed to raise awareness in the Albanian society about causes, consequences and solutions for corruption.

*The idea of the project is to realize a thorough survey and draw conclusions with regard to the social and community responsibility of the citizens in Albania. The target groups are the elementary kids, youth, companies and factories operating in Albania.
The purpose of the project is to understand the responsibility and initiatives of the citizens and companies in Albania for the environment that surrounds them.

The project is an incoming global community development program. It is expected to last six weeks, starting on 10th September – 22th October 2015. The project is designed as follows:
> Incoming preparation seminar for the exchange participants (IPS).
> Educate the elementary chil-dren and raise awareness with regard to envi-ronmental issues and speci�cally to the situation in Tirana.
> The youth awareness for the pollution in Tirana, and their involvement in making a Change.
> The social responsibility of the companies and factories in Albania, their politics and initiatives for the employees and the community.
> During the �nal week the interns will sum up all the information they have gathered.

*What can kids do for the environment? Are they aware about the high level of pollution in Tirana? What can we do to push them toward concrete actions?
Kids for the environment
> During the second week the interns will aim the elementary school kids in Tirana. We aim to promote the project through private and public schools and invite them to the event of the �rst week.
> Present the main environmental issues in the world as well as in Albania, and speci�cally in Tirana.
> Di�erent entertaining means of presentation are included, such as games, animated pictures, and simple types of competition for the kids in order to understand how important it is to look after for the environment. > The event will take place at Pedonalja.

*The aim of this week is to understand the youth awareness toward the pollution in their country, city and neighborhood. What are their daily actions to protect the green areas, and have less pollution. What can they do more to decrease the environmental issues?
Youngsters into enivironment
> Understand the awareness that Albanian youth has toward the pollution in their neighborhood.
> The interns will work the �rst two days of the week to identify the most polluted neighborhoods in Tirana, as well as preparing a survey in order to conclude to relevant and meaningful results.
> The survey will take place during third & fourth day of the week and will aim the youth in Tirana (and/or in neighbor cities like Durres, Fier, Elbasan, Fushe Kruje, etc.)
> The event is expected to be at Qendra Rinor (or Tulla center).During the �rst part of the event the interns are going to focus in presenting their results. Also videos of interviews of youth actions might be involved (like for example the interns together with the interviewed youngsters might clean two or three polluted neighbor-hoods in Tirana). The second part of the event involves a bike riding in collaboration with Eco Volis in some main streets of Tirana where the air and noise pollution is very high.

*The aim of “Treasure Hunt” is to face with environmental facts/issues (by self assessment), contribute to the green areas by cleaning them and planting beautiful plants at the garden on behalf of the project and AIESEC.
> Understand how much information the youth has about the pollution. This time the interns will aim to inform the youth about important pollution data (educational) which includes a small competition called “Treasure Hunt”.
> The “Treasure Hunt” will take place at the Botanical Garden.There are going to be three �rst places and the price are di�erent kinds of �owers that the winning groups are going to plant at the botanical garden.
> This week requires a lot of preparation as follows:
2 interns - responsible for the preparation of promotion materials and promoting the event 2 interns – responsible for organizing the event (including all logistic matters) 2 interns – responsible for preparing the questioner and the �ow of the “Treasure Hunt”.

*The idea of this week is to understand more about companies social responsibility, their policiy. How much they invest in environement?
The companies/factories for the pollution/environment in Tirana
> Gather information about the politics and initiatives of the companies operating in Tirana toward social responsibility. Another target group of this week are also the factories that operate in suburbs of Tirana (or in critical areas such Elbasan, Fier, Fushe Kruje etc.)
> The interns will engage in gathering information about main issues of alike factories (and main social respon-sibility initiatives of the companies) around the world in order to make a comparison with Albania.
> The interns then will make interviews with representatives of factories/companies in Albania (by being very careful in keeping the con�dentiality (if required by the company) in presenting the results.)
> The event of this week aims to present examples of companies’ initiatives to protect the environment, as well as the politics of the factories to protect the environment, to decrease the pollution and to protect the employ-ee toward pollution diseases.Invite EDEN to learn more about recycling and how to do it.

FINAL EVENT
> During the �nal week the interns will sum up all the information they have gathered:
- Kids involvement - Youth awareness - Social responsibility of the companies - Community responsibility of the factories - Environmental issues in Tirana (and/or Albania)
> The �nal event might take place at Qendra Rinore where the interns will:
- Present their results - Present photos of daily life/demonstrations of protecting/not the environment - Present the whole work done in previous weeks - Present videos etc. - Invite di�rent NGOs to present their activity

Job Descriptions
> The trainee, in collaboration with the AIESEC team, will have to organize external activities that raise awareness regarding the environment problems and clean up areas of Tirana with civil society.
> The trainee is responsible to create surveys regarding di�erent topic of the project.
> The trainee will travel around di�erent areas in Albania to visit the most polluted areas.
> The trainee is responsible for taking photos, videos from di�rent areas and present them in front of externals.
