SCHOOL INFORMATION PRINCIPAL’S REPORT

Shade shelter progress: Our shelter is coming along brilliantly. Today (Monday 24th) we should see the fencing come down ready for use. We will hold a brief official open-ing ceremony on Friday morning at morning lines. Mr Paul Lynch, NSW State Member for Liverpool will be attending to officially open the area with our P&C.

I wrote about the following items in the last newsletter but have decided to leave them here again this time as I feel they are of such importance as to give a repeat message.

We have noticed several students waiting across the road after leaving the school. They tend to meet at the tree near the crossing near the shops to wait for your pick up. Staff have told me that they are not necessarily waiting safely in this area with many climbing the tree or running around near the road. Please review your afternoon collection of children plans to ensure they are safe.

Many parents and carers are choosing to cross the road directly out the front of the school between parked and moving vehicles. We have a safe supervised crossing just 50 metres down the road. I would hate to see you regret not walking the extra distance to use this area because of an accident.

We have many students coming to school in the morning

VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS $40 for one student

$60 per Family Payments can be made any morning at the front office.
