Ακριβώς πριν έναν χρόνο φυλλομετρούσαμε το ένατο τεύχος του grey. Τίποτα δεν έχει αλλάξει από
τότε. Ούτε στην αισθητική μας, ούτε στους σκοπούς μας, μα, ούτε και στην αγάπη μας για την κριτική
εικόνα.
Με έναν χρόνο απουσίας από την κανονική του ροή, για λόγους που ξεπερνούν το ίδιο το περιοδικό,
το grey έχει την ευχαρίστηση και την τιμή να παρουσιάσει στους αναγνώστες του 6 ιδιαίτερα
portfolios και να αρχίσει την κανονική του, δημηνιαία ροή.
Θα ήθελα προσωπικά να ζητήσω συγγνώμη από τους πιστούς αναγνώστες του grey, που με τα
μηνύματά τους μας αναζήτησαν.
Το δέκατο τεύχος του grey έχει επιμεληθεί ο Χαράλαμπος Κυδωνάκης, ένας φωτογράφος με
ιδιαίτερη και κριτική ματιά, δουλειά του οποίου έχει φιλοξενηθεί σε παλιότερο τεύχος του grey.
Καλή συνέχεια λοιπόν και καλή ανάγνωση.

It was exactly one year ago that we were flicking through the ninth issue of grey. Nothing has changed
since. Not our aesthetics, not our goal and surely not our love for the critical image.
Bearing a year of absence from its normal circulation, for reasons beyond my control, grey finds
itself in the position to proudly present six particular portfolios hence marking the continuation of its
circulation.
I would like to personally apologise to the readers of grey who expressed their concern on the future
of the magazine.
The tenth issue of grey is curated by Charalampos Kydonakis, a photographer with a critical and
uncommon view, whose work has been featured in past issues of grey.

Μέσα σε έναν κόσμο που κάθε μέρα μας υπενθυμίζει πόσο δυσκολότερη γίνεται συνεχώς η
πραγματικότητα, η φωτογραφία είναι το εργαλείο των δημιουργών της να ονειρευτούν, να πιάσουν

Επισκέψεις Visits
Οι φωτογραφίες που παρουσιάζονται αποτελούν τμήμα μιας σειράς λήψεων που πραγματοποιήθηκαν σε διαφορετικές χρονικές περιόδους, χωρίς προκαθορισμένο σκοπό, με κοινό όμως σημείο την αίσθηση που προηγήθηκε κάθε φωτογραφίας: αυτή της επίσκεψης, για μια μόνο στιγμή, σε πλευρές που κρατάει κανείς κρυφές, πριν επιστρέψει και πάλι σ’ αυτό που βλέπουν όλοι.
Οι επισκέψεις αυτές άρχισαν πριν λίγα χρόνια και ίσως να μην τελειώσουν ποτέ...
The presented photographs belong to a series of shots taken in different periods, without a predetermined purpose, having though in common the sense preceding each photo: that of visiting, for a single moment, those sides one keeps secret, before returning to what everyone sees.
These visits began a few years ago and may never end....
