Group BookingsSteam Yacht Gondola on Coniston Water

The unrivalled sailing experience of the Lake DistrictFloat back in time and enjoy Coniston as the wealthy Victorians once did. Travel in style in Gondola’s opulent saloons or relax on her open air decks. Take in the spectacular scenery and listen to the crew’s commentary on Coniston’s history and famous connections.

We offer a variety of options for pre-booked groups on our regular cruises, all at discounted prices for parties of 15 or more. Plus, the group leader travels free. Refreshment vouchers are available for coach drivers and group organisers at the Bluebird Café (by prior arrangement).

Head of Lake cruiseThis is our regular 45-minute round trip cruise departing and returning to Coniston Pier, via Brantwood and Monk Coniston. There are a number of sailings each day. See our timetable for departure times. Group fare: £9 per person

Full Lake cruiseEnjoy an extended 105-minute sailing on our full lake cruise. Departs at 2.30pm Monday to Friday and 11am on Saturdays and Sundays. Group fare: £17 per person

Walking group cruises

On Saturday and Sunday mornings we have two options for walking groups:

• Parkamoor walk: Catch the 11am sailing on Saturday or Sunday morning from Coniston Pierarriving at Parkamoor 55 minutes later. The 7.5km walk from Parkamoor takes you via Low Parkamoor Farm and Lawson Park to Brantwood where you then join Gondola for the returnjourney to Coniston Pier via Monk Coniston. Group fare: £12 per person

• Lake Bank walk: Catch the 11am sailing on Saturday or Sunday morning from Coniston Pierarriving at Lake Bank 45 minutes later. The 12.1km walk from Lake Bank takes you overBeacon Fell back to Coniston Pier. Group fare: £9 per person

AccessibilityRamped gangway and three steps to board. Folding wheelchairs only. Please call us with any specific access enquiries. The crew are happy to help where necessary. Dogs are welcome in outside areas.

General information for groups• Gondola runs a scheduled timetable subject to weather conditions Easter until end of October• On weekdays, Head of Lake Cruises (45 Mins) depart from Coniston Pier at 11am, 12 noon,

1 pm with a Full Lake Cruise (105 Mins) at 2.30pm. Allow 1hr for Head of Lake Cruise and2hrs for Full Lake.

• At weekends, Walkers/Full Lake Cruise depart at 11am with Head of Lake cruises departing at1 pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. For a combined cruise and walk or Brantwood visit allow 3-5hrs.

• Groups may disembark and rejoin Gondola on a later sailing using the same ticket.Embarkation/disembarkation at Brantwood, Monk Coniston, Parkamoor and Lake Bankjetties can be quoted for individually.

• There are no toilets on board. Public toilets are available in the car park 100 yardsfrom the jetty.

• Groups of 15 or more are eligible for the group rate. Maximum in a group is 50 people.• Only one group booking per cruise. Gondola is licensed to carry 86 passengers.• Please allow plenty of time for your journey to Coniston. Groups should aim to arrive at least

15 minutes before sailing time.• Catering can be supplied if Gondola is privately hired (from early evenings)• Bluebird Café (not National Trust) has plentiful seating but does not accept advance bookings.
