Discover a pictorial trail guiding you through the garden and discover a timeline of the project on panels close to the house. 11.15am—Pick up your hard hats and head onto the ground floor walkway to get your first glimpse of the building’s interior. 12.00pm—Head just around the corner to find the entrance to the basement walkway. Discover a display of salvaged collection objects in the vaulted undercroft. Take a final wander back through the garden, then head 5 minutes up the road to Hatchlands Park. 1.00pm—Arrive at Hatchlands Park car-park. 1.15pm—Coffee and lunch. Take a relaxed free-flow approach to your visit around the house allowing your group the flexibility to wander at their own pace. 3.30pm—Explore the park and garden. Head back to the visitor car-park to catch your coach.

Take time out for a bite to eat The Kitchen Café at Hatchlands Park: Our café opens from 10am until 5pm, or 4pm in winter. Additional seating is available in the newly refurbished Coach House. Enjoy hot and wholesome soups and light bites, with fresh cakes and sandwiches made on site every day. We strongly recommend large groups book your lunch or afternoon coffee. To do this please call our Catering Manager directly, on 01483 226167.

If you opt for a free-flow lunch or afternoon coffee and choose not to book, please advise your group that the café can become extremely busy. Picnicking: Want to bring your own food? There are picnic areas with benches provided all over the garden and park, or you can just throw a rug down on the lawn and break out your hamper.

Making a booking for your group visit Follow these simple steps to get your group booked in with the minimum of fuss: • You’ve already received your group information pack and booking form. Should

you need a replacement for either, you can download them online by visiting our groups page at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/hatchlands-park/groups

• Next, call us before completing your booking form to check that your chosen date is available. We

try to admit a maximum of two groups per day, to ensure that the house is not overcrowded and that you’re able to have an enjoyable visit.

• Once you’ve spoken to us and settled on a date, please complete the enclosed booking form and

return it to us by email or post. When we receive your booking form we’ll consider the booking confirmed and enter your details into our booking system.

• When we receive your booking form we’ll send you a confirmation letter in the post with all the

details of your visit listed. • It’s often difficult for you to get accurate group numbers a long time in advance of your visit. For

this reason, we ask that you contact us a short time (perhaps 1 week) before your visit, to confirm your final number of total visitors including the number of National Trust members. This allows us to welcome you quickly and efficiently by printing tickets in advance, and significantly reduces the time you have to spend waiting at reception.

Altering or cancelling your booking • In the event that you need to cancel a booking, or if there are any changes to the details of your

booking, please let us and the restaurant know as soon as possible. • In case of a delay in arrival or a last minute change in visitor numbers on the day, you can call our

visitor reception team directly on the morning of your visit from 10am.
