Sam McBratney has written a number of picture books as well as novels for younger children and teenagers. He and his wife live in the beautiful countryside of Country Antrim in Northern Island, where they are constantly visited by their many grandchildren. Anita Jeram also lives in County Antrim with her family and a vast number of animals!
