    1- Guid description

    2- Guild Rules / Guidelines

There is a lot of text to read below but please read it all as

should you be invited to the guild, you will be held to these

rules while a member of the guild. These rules / guidelines

have been created to make sure guild members have a

social environment to play in with as little drama as

possible while also promoting guild progression.

3- RecruitmentLast of Us is a mature Raiding and PVP guild. As such we onlyrecruit players who are 18 or older who are applying with maxlevel characters. We have an extensive application form whichall new members must complete. One of the questions is tomake sure you have read, understood and agree with all that ison this page so make sure you do.

Should your application show you as worthy for a guild invite, you will then be given the rank of trial member for a minimum of2 weeks at which time your performance and contribution to theguild will determine if you are promoted to a permanent memberor not. If you have any questions before applying, feel free to

speak to an officer in game.

We only accept applicants who are applying on their maincharacter unless you are applying as a Social member .This isbecause we are looking for people who can contribute to the

progression of the guild and the likelihood of this happeningwhen your main is raiding with another guild on standard raidnights is very slim.

4- Guild Chat / VentWe are a mature guild so please expect a certain level of adultcontent in guild chat and on Ventrilo. If something is said inguild chat or vent that offends you in any way, please be matureand state that you do not like the tone / content of thediscussion or if you are uncomfortable in doing so, ask anofficer to say something. We are all mature people so sayingsomething politely should be enough to steer the conversationin another direction. If you are participating in a conversationwhich someone has raised and objection and you want tocontinue the conversation as it is, please move it to a privatevent channel or chat room. To make sure things run smoothly,

    here are a few rules.

1)Be respectful of others. Not everyone shares your views, nor should they have to. If you think what you re about tosay could cause some drama, don t say it.

2)It is your responsibility to make others understand whatyou are trying to say. It is not the responsibility of others to

    understand you.

    3)

Racism, Sexism, Homophobic comments or discriminationof any kind will not be tolerated. First offence will receive awarning and possible demotion, repeat offence or extremecases will receive an immediate /gkick.

4)No begging for gold. This only annoys everyone whoworked hard to make their gold.

5)Use the appropriate room/ channel on vent for your activity.E.g. Do not host a raid while using the lobby or chill outrooms. Likewise, do not hold a private chat in a raid room.

5- Guild Reputation At all times while you are a member of Last of Us, please keepin mind you are an ambassador of the guild. The guild memberspast and present have worked hard to build up the reputationcurrently held by the guild and we would hate to see that ruinedby one careless act. As such please keep all interactions withother players civil and good natured in all areas of the game, even on game websites. E.g. Blizzard Forums. Minor infractionswill result in a warning or a demotion, major infractions willresult in a /gkick.This should go without saying, but:

    1) Do not flame or abuse other players in Trade chat, LFR,PUG group or any other aspects of the game.

    2) Do not ninja loot drops.

    3) Do not scam any other players.

    4) Always ask to 'Need' roll for off spec before selecting

    'Need'.

Guild ActivitiesLast of Us is a progression guild with a social atmosphere. Assuch we have certain expectations which do not normally existin social guilds.. As such, there are a few rules to follow:

    1)

If you are a regular Raid or PvP team member, we expect90% attendance for your regular organised event. Shouldyou not be able to make an organised event which youhave accepted an invite for, prior notice of at least 1 hour

must be given to your group leader or 2 hours if given anofficer or via the guild website to allow a replacement to befound in time to prevent your attendance record beingtarnished.

    2)

While we accept real life is more important than the "Worldof Warcraft" and we encourage member to prioritise real

life over the game, being unable to attend on certain nightsregularly will result in being demoted to the 'Social" rank atwhich time you are free to speak to a group leader whosegroup runs on the nights that better suits your real lifecommitments but it is the group leaders decision on if theytake you or not.

    3)

Accept or decline invites. Tentative will be treated asdeclined and a replacement will be sought. Should youcome online after a replacement has been found, expectnot to participate.

4)If you fail to regularly respond to or turn down guild eventinvites or turn up late, you will be demoted to the Social rank and you will stop receiving invites to the group.

    5/12

    5)

Unless your group leader has specifically asked for an altof yours, it is not acceptable to lock your main in thecurrent tier content with another guild s group as a pug. This may result in a guild kick at which time you are free to

join their guil d s group on a permanent basis.

    6)

You are free to organise an event yourself. E.g. Anachievement run or an Alt run. But please try to avoidclashes with main raiding / RGB nights. If you do not wantto organise an event yourself, you can ask an officer to

organise the event but please keep in mind they may bebusy with other guild activities.

Guild Content RulesThese rules apply to all guild hosted raid, dungeon or PvPgroups unless otherwise stated by the group leader andshould be used as best practice when participating in pugactivities. Any non-compliance with these rules and theleader of the group has the right to replace you on atemporary or permanent basis without warning. Consider this

    as your warning.

    1)

The use of Ventrillo is a must and expected unless thegroup leader says it is not necessary. If you don t feelcomfortable talking on vent, that is fine, but you must beable to hear and understand the group leader.

2)The use of DBM or some other boss mod such as BigWigs

    is mandatory.

  • 8/13/2019 Guild Rulles

    6/12

3)You are expected to participate on your main characterunless the event is a specified alt run or the group leaderhas asked you to use an alt in the group.

4)Unless specified by the group leader, when "Loot Master"is in use, loot will be distributed using the loot distributionrules in the "Loot Distribution" section below.

    5)

Do not speak on vent during fights (unless you areresponsible for calling something out) or while tactics arebeing discussed / explained by the group leader. Savecomments or jokes till after the group has wiped or thefight is over.

    6)

You are expected to have read and understand any tacticsneeded for the fight(s). The group leader s tactics maydiffer to what you have read but you should stillunderstand the fight.

    7)

Do not question the leader s tactics. They have spent a lotof time researching the fights and working on a strategy. Ifyou have an idea, whisper it to the group leader and theywill decide to take your comments on board or not. Don t forget multiple people may be whispering them so givethem a chance to respond.

    8)

DO NOT tell other players how to play their class. Thisonly causes arguments. If you feel someone is doingsomething wrong or could improve, whisper the groupleader and they will seek confirmation from the classmaster or they will speak to the player and tell them whatneeds to be done. You can politely ask they player youfeel could improve, if you can offer some advice. Do nottake offence if they say no.

    7/12

9)Setup addons before the raid starts. Do not wait until youare in the instance to play with addons.

    10)

Be online 20 minutes before the event starts. This givesthe leader time to find replacements before the scheduledstart time. Try and be online earlier just to rule out issueswith delayed logins which may prevent you from beingonline on time. If you are not on 10 minutes before thescheduled start time, the group leader has every right toreplace you.

11)If you are replaced for any reason, the player whoreplaced you has the right to finish out the week in yourspot.

    12)

We use a combination of ranks to show who is raid readyand to reward people based on their attendance. Thehigher the rank, the higher the priority to loot drops as

explained in the Loot Distribution section. At the end ofthe 2 weeks raiding guild members will be either promotedor demoted based on their attendance for that raidingweeks. You can only be promoted / demoted one level per2 weeks. Ranks are also used as a way to pick thegroups to promote having team members who can berelied upon to show up. To be promoted from the Socialrank, the player must be available the whole time thegroup event is taking place. This does not mean sitting inStormwind waiting to be called up, as long as you arecontactable either on an alt, via vent or some othermethod.

13)The group leader has the right to change the group

combination as they see fit because they believe it will

  • 8/13/2019 Guild Rulles

    8/12

help the group move forward. E.g. If you have beenraiding with a group for the past 4 weeks that does notgrant you automatic selection the following week. Anyarguments about not being picked will result in ademotion.

    14)

All effort must be made to replace missing group memberswith fellow guild members before advertising for Pugs. Theonly exception to this is if the group leader feels the guildmembers online are not up to the content being run. E.g.

Does not have sufficient gear or skill.

    15)

Feasts and Cauldrons will be provided where possible forguild runs but do not expect this to happen all the time. You should always carry your own buff food and flasks.Raiding without your own food and flasks is a valid reasonfor replacement.

    16)

Guild members have access to guild sponsored repairs. Each rank has a set limit (Trial Members have no guildrepairs) so make sure you have enough gold to pay foryour repairs should you reach your daily limit. Not beingable to afford guild repairs is grounds for replacement.

    17)

It is not acceptable to hold up the group in any way. E.g.

Do not go AFK unless there is a scheduled break.Exceptions will be made based on circumstances but donot get offended if you are replaced when you get back, especially if you are regularly going AFK.

    18)

Do not post the output from add-ons such as Skada orRecount into guild or group chat unless asked to do so bythe group leader. This may cause loot rolls or informationabout tactics to get lost in the spam.

  • 8/13/2019 Guild Rulles

    9/12

19)Unless specified by the group leader, no one is to pull theboss except for the main tank and only the raid leader willtell the tank to pull.

Loot Distribution.1- Last of Us uses bits of common loot distribution methods

in order to make a loot distribution system which is fair, promotes raid attendance as well as doing what is best forthe group. Unless otherwise specified by the group leader, when the "Loot Master" feature is in use, loot will bedistributed in the following way:

    2-

    1)

Loot is prioritised by rank. E.g. A "Veteran" is prioritisedover a "Raider" which in turn is prioritised over the "Social"rank. Group members on the "Trial Member" rank areineligible for loot until their trial period has finished unlessthe item is going to be disenchanted. Prioritising meansthese ranks roll for an item before the next rank rolls forthe item. Information on how who to obtain the differentranks is found in the Guild Content Rule s section.

    3) Any loot with spirit on it is considered healer loot, dodgeand parry is tank loot and hit and crit is DPS loot.

4)Main spec will be rolled on before off spec which is rolledon before transmog.

    5) Main s will roll for loot (main spec and off spec) before Alts

  • 8/13/2019 Guild Rulles

    10/12

can roll for loot. This rule does not apply in a designated Alt run where all players are seen as equals. This is tomake sure mains are able to progress further than altswhich helps the group as a whole.

    6)

Your main spec is the spec you downed the boss on. E.g.If you healed the fight, you roll for healer loot. The onlyexception to this rule is if your group leader asks you tochange roles / specs for the good of the group then youcan specify your original spec as your main spec but this

must be done before the fight starts.

    7) Any members of the group which are pugs are seen asmains (regardless if they say it is an alt) and have just asmuch right to any loot that drops as anyone else.

    8)

The group leader reserves the right to override the roll orgive loot out without calling for a roll. This is done for the

good of the group and will generally be done to allowsomeone to get a BiS item or a 2/4 set bonus.

9)If an item is disenchanted, the product of the disenchantwill be put in the guild bank to be used / bought by guildmembers for their enchanting needs.

    10)

If a Bind on Equip item drops, it will be rolled on for mainspec only. If you win the item, you must equip the itemimmediately to bind it to your character. If no one can usethe item for their main spec, the item will be put in theguild bank to be bought by guild members. See the "GuildBank" section on how to purchase items from the guildbank.

    14) The loot master will reveal loot. Do not link loot to the

  • 8/13/2019 Guild Rulles

    11/12

group chat as this can cause confusion and people to startrolling on items before the loot mater is ready. Secondlydo not link items that haven't dropped. E.g. "[Item X] neverdrops...". As this may also cause confusion.

    3-

4- Guild Members Alts:5- Guild members are welcome to speak to an officer ask for

their Alt(s) to be invited to the guild at any character levelbut only if their main has been accepted as a permanentmember. i.e. does not have the rank of 'Trial Member'. Anyalt invited into the guild will immediately have the guildnote updated to show the players main character name soeveryone knows who is playing. Any alt which has notbeen online for over 2 months will be kicked from the guild.

    6-

7- Guild Bank8- All permanent members will have access to the guild bank

but withdrawals are limited based on rank. Feel free totake what you need. E.g. Food, mats, potions and so on.Donations are always welcome but only if the donation will

be useful. E.g. Don't fill the guild bank with a load of lvl 60armour pieces that you crafted while levelling a profession.

9- There are also 2 bank tabs which have restricted access. The For Sale tab which has the higher value / rarer itemssuch as BoE drops from raids. All guild members are ableto purchase items from this tab at half price of the auctionhouse value from an officer. The other tab is Raid Mats

    12/12

and these items are used strictly for supplying the raidgroups and are not for sale.
