** TAXES - OTHER CHARGES & TERMS - CONDITION FOR SUPPLY **

1. PRICE: Prices quoted in our price bid are for delivery F.O.R. at 66 Kv GIDC Junagadh.

2. VAT: Prices are exclusive of VAT which will be charged at__________%

3. Excise Duty: Prices are exclusive of excise duty. The present rate of excise duty

applied is ______%

4. Service Tax: If applicable, will be reimbursed on production of challan for payment of Service Tax.

5. Transit Insurance: Prices inclusive of transit insurance right up to site and 30 days

thereafter.

6. Income Tax: Income Tax will be deducted from each bill as per the rules.

7. Penalty: We agree to Board’s penalty clause.

8. Guarantee: We agree with standard guarantee for 60 months from date of installation / date of supply respectively.

9. Import License: We do/ do not require import license from the Board.

10.Tender should be submitted by R.P.A.D./Speed Post Only.

11.Validity: Our offer is valid for 180 days from the date of this technical bid.

12.The GETCO reserves the right to accept or reject the offer without assigning any

reason whatsoever the GETCO’s decision will be final and binding to us.

13.Supplier should submit CST No./GST No. & TIN No.

14.In Price Bid, only unit rates should be shown and all taxes and other charges if any, should be shown separately.

15.The product should have minimum guarantee period of 5 years. More

guarantee period will be preferable and shall be given due weightage and preference.

16.No price escalation will be allowed. Rates quoted should be firm for the period of

contract.

** GENERAL CONDITION FOR SUPPLY **

1. If found necessary, the order may be awarded to more than one agency against the tender.

2. The tenders shall remain open for acceptance at least for a period of Six Months,

from the date of opening of tenders.

3. The Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender. The Executive Engineer (TR), JUNAGADH reserves the right to reject any or all tender without signing any reasons whatsoever.

4. As regard damage the materials, equipment the supplier, he himself will be

responsible. If he thinks fit he may take necessary insurance cover, at his cost.

5. Security deposit: - The contractor will have to pay the Security Deposit at 10% of the order value on placing the order & it will have to paid in cash or demand draft in favor of ‘GUJARAT ENERGY TRANSMISSION CORPORATION LTD’ within 10 days from the date of the issue of order.

6. Tenderer should be qualified only who have P. F. Registration, Service Tax

Registration, Vat Registration & Work Registration.

7. Service tax will be paid as per prevailing norms on production of service tax registration. And against production of payment proof.

8. Specification in any items mentioned in tender are subject to change without any

prior notice and binding to the contractor.

9. GETCO shall deduct the Income-Tax and other taxes as per prevailing rules from each and every bills.

10.The undersign reserve rights to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reasons thereof. Issuance of blank tender does not automatically qualifies the tenderers for award.

11.No tools, tackles, manpower, crane facilities etc will be provided by the GETCO.

NOTE:-The Reactor will be connected in the line side of the capacitor bank.(I.e. for single star cap. Bank)

The series reactor of small size is required to limit the inrush current during switching operation & suppress the harmonic currents. The series reactor shall be aluminum wound, outdoor type, 50Hz, air cored, Non magnetically shielded or air cooled type and suitable for operation in climatic conditions specified, conforms to IS: 5553 (as amended up to date). The reactor shall be natural air cooled core less type with one bushing each on incoming and outgoing side. The voltage rating of the series reactor’s base insulator shall be nominal system voltage. Series reactors shall be capable of withstanding the specified short-circuit currents. GETCO/E/TS – 1&6CAP04/R2 Apr 09. The percentage series reactance shall be 0.2% for 11 kv bank. However, series reactor with 6% reactance shall be provided for urban substation. The bidder shall furnish calculations justifying the value selected. The series reactors shall confirm to type tests and shall be subjected to routine tests as per IS: 5553.The technical specification is given below and the Type Tests & Routine tests are attached here with.

� TERMINAL CONNECTORS AND EARTHING TERMINALS:

The various outdoor equipments shall be supplied with bi-metallic compression type terminal connectors having STC rating of 25kA for 3 sec, suitable for ACSR ‘Dog’ conductor in case of 11 kV banks. The thickness of terminal connectors at any position shall not be less than 12 mm. Each equipment shall be supplied with at least TWO nos of grounding terminals and clamps for receiving ground connections. CLIMATIC & ISOCERAUNIC CONDITIONS: The climatic conditions at site under which the equipment shall operate Satisfactorily are as follows:- a) Maximum ambient temperature of the air in Shade (ºC)- 50

NOTE: ALL THE TERMINAL CONNECTORS REQUIRED FOR THE REACTOR SHALL BE SUPPLIED IN LINE WITH APPLICABLE STANDARD.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION TO THE TENDERER.

1. Tenders shall have to be down loaded in two parts. (1) Technical and Commercial bid. (2) Price Bid. The two bids shall be submitted in two separate envelopes to be sealed in the one envelope supplied by the Company. The price bid of only those Tenderers will be opened who are considered technically Acceptable.

2. The tenders will have to be down loaded in two copies of blank Tender on

payment of Tender fees (non refundable) as per Tender Notice. However, additional copies of Tender Specification can also be had on payment as per the Tender Specification.

3. The tenderers shall have to return the Tender duly filled in two separate

envelope kept in a printed cover given by the Company without any additions/ alterations & duly signed page by page.

The Tenderers are forbidden from furnishing their own printed/ typed commercial and other terms and conditions.

4. All commercial terms and conditions except rates shall be indicated in the

technical & commercial bid only. 5. The Tenderers shall specifically note that the Tenders are invited on percentage

basis only. 6. The Tenderers shall specifically note that the quantities mentioned in the Tender

are likely to vary as per the actual requirement. As such, the successful tenderer shall have to execute the work at the same order rates for the changed quantities, if any, without any extra compensation whatsoever.

7. The Tenderers shall have to submit 10 copies of bidding schedule forming a part

of price bid as called for in the Tender Specifications for distribution at the time of opening to other participant Tenderer’s.

8. The tenderers will ensure submission of the Tenders duly filled in before the due

date and time. 9. The price bid of those tenderers shall only be opened at the time and date to be

informed by E.E.(TR), Tr.Div.Junagadh which are found technically acceptable and satisfying the requisite qualification & parameters.
