hung ༔ orgyen yül gyi nupjang tsamHūṃ! ༔ In the northwest of Uḍḍiyāna,༔པད་ག་སར་སང་པ་ལ༔

pema gesar dongpo lain the heart of a lotus flower,༔ཡ་མཚན་མཆག་ག་དངས་གབ་བརས༔

yamtsen chokgi ngödrup nyéyou came, renowned as Lotus-Born,༔པད་འབང་གནས་ཞས་ས་གགས༔

pema jungné zhesu drakyour supreme siddhi wondrous,༔འཁར་ད་མཁའ་འག་མང་པས་བསར༔

so zur nup nyang tertön gya tsa sokSo, Zur, Nup, Nyang, the hundred tertöns and others—བཀའ་གཏར་བ་མ་རམས་ལ་གསལ་བ་འདབས། །

kater lama nam la solwa depall the gurus of Kama and Terma, I supplicate you.

This supplication in two parts was composed by the son of the tertön,Choktrul Rinpoche, at the command of his elder brother, the holder of theDharma and family lineages, the sublime Samten Gyatso Namkha Drimé.Later, it was supplemented by Kyabjé Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. འག་མན་ཆས་ཀ་དབངས་ཀ་ཕ་བང་ནས། །

okmin chö kyi ying kyi phodrang néFrom the dharmadhātu palace of Akaniṣṭha,དས་གསམ་སངས་རས་ཀན་ག་ང་བ་ཉད། །

dü sum sangyé kün gyi ngowo nyithe essence of the buddhas of the three timesརང་སམས་ཆས་ས་མངན་སམ་སན་མཛད་པ། །

To the Guru-Heruka, I prostrate!༔

ཟབ་མ་རན་འབལ་ཆ་ག་ལས༔

Here I shall explain the secret practice of Dorjé Draktsal༔བ་མའ་ཐགས་སབ་སར་གསམ་ག༔

according to the Trio of the Guru’s Heart Practices༔གསང་སབ་ར་ར་དག་རལ་བསན༔

from the Rituals of Profound Interdependence.༔སར་དངས་རས་ཀ་ཉམས་ས་བངས༔

It should be practiced by means of the preliminaries, main part, andconclusion.༔ས་མ་ཡ༔

Samaya.༔

དང་པ་སར་བའ་རམ་པ་ན༔

I. The Preliminary Stages ༔ ན་མ༔ བདག་དང་མཁའ་མཉམ་སམས་ཅན་མ་ལས་ཀན༔

namo ༔ dak dang khanyam semchen malü kün༔Namo ༔ I and all beings infinite as the sky༔སབས་ཀ་མཆག་གར་རམས་ལ་སབས་ས་མཆ༔

kyap kyi chokgyur nam la kyap su chi༔take refuge in the supreme sources of refuge.༔སན་དང་འཇག་པའ་བང་ཆབ་སམས་བསད་ནས༔

mön dang jukpé jangchup semkyé né༔Rousing bodhicitta in aspiration and application,༔ར་ར་དག་རལ་ག་འཕང་བསབ་པར་བག༔

dorjé draktsel gopang drupar gyi༔I will accomplish the Guru Dorjé Draktsel.༔སབས་ས་འག་ཞང་སམས་བསད་ལ༔

Thus go for refuge and arouse bodhicitta. Then say:༔

ཧ༔ ཡང་གསང་དག་པའ་དཀལ་འཁར་ད༔

hum ༔ yang sang drakpö kyilkhor du༔hūṃ ༔ In this innermost wrathful mandala,༔འད་བའ་དབང་ལན་མ་གཏགས་པར༔

duwé wangden matokpar༔only the empowered may remain.༔བདད་དང་ལག་འདན་མ་ལས་པ༔

dü dang lokdren malüpa༔Maras and false guides, all of you without exception,༔

གནས་འདར་མ་འདག་གཞན་ད་དངས༔

né dir ma duk zhen du deng༔do not stay here, but disperse someplace else!༔ཅ་ས་མ་འག་འདག་གར་གང་༔

chi té mi dro duk gyur gang༔If you do not go, but dare to linger on,༔ཀད་པ་ཚལ་པ་བར་ར་ཁས༔

lepa tselpa gya ru khö༔Your brains will be blown into a hundred pieces!༔

དག་སགས་བཟ་ཞང་ཐན་གས་བབ༔

Recite the fierce mantra and throw hexed substances.༔

ཧ༔ སང་སད་ཀན་ཀང་ས་གསང་ཐགས༔

hum ༔ nangsi kün kyang ku sung tuk༔hūṃ ༔ The phenomenal world is wisdom form, speech, and heart.༔མ་དག་ལག་འདན་མང་ཡང་མད༔

madak lokdren ming yang mé༔There is not even the name of impurity or false guides.༔དཀལ་འཁར་ཆན་པའ་མ་རན་ལ༔

kyilkhor chenpö muren la༔The surrounding edge of this mighty mandala༔ར་ར་མ་ཡ་རན་ཆན་འབར༔

dorjé mé yi rinchen bar༔is a blazing mass of bejewelled vajra fire.༔

གཉས་མད་དབངས་ལས་བགགས་ཞས་མད༔

nyimé ying lé gek zhé mé༔In non-dual basic space, there are no such things as obstructers.༔མཚམས་ཀ་དཀལ་འཁར་ལན་གས་གབ༔

tsam kyi kyilkhor lhün gyi drup༔Thus, the mandala boundary is spontaneously present.༔

བཛ་རཀ་རཀ་བ༔

benza raksha raksha bhrum༔vajra rakṣa rakṣa bhrūṃ༔

ར་ཡ་ཁ༔

ram yam kham༔raṃ yaṃ khaṃ༔

ཧ༔ སང་སད་དར་ཁད་རལ་པའ་ཞང་༔

hum ༔ nangsi durtrö rölpé zhing༔hūṃ ༔ The phenomenal world is the pure realm of the Charnel Display,༔བན་འབར་བའ་སད་ཡངས་ས༔

bhendha barwé nö yang su༔where vast skullcup vessels, spacious and ablaze,༔བདད་ར་ཤ་ལ་འད་ད་ཞ༔

dütsi sha nga ö du zhu༔are filled with the five amritas and five meats. They melt into light༔

ས་གསང་ཐགས་ཀ་བན་རབས་པས༔

ku sung tuk kyi jinlapé༔and are blessed by wisdom form, speech, and heart༔ཀན་བཟང་བད་ཆན་སན་ད་འཁགས༔

künzang dechen trin du trik༔to become billowing Ever-Excellent clouds of exaltation—༔ཕ་ནང་གསང་མཆད་མཁའ་དབངས་ཁབ༔

chi nang sang chö khaying khyap༔outer, inner, and secret offerings, filling the infinite reaches of space.༔

ཨ་ཨཿཧ་སར་པཉ་ཨ་མ་ཏ་མ་ཧ་རཀ་བ་ལང་སར་པ་ཛ་ཧ་ཧ་ཋ༔

om ah hum sarva pentsa amrita maha rakta balingtasarva pudza hum hrih ta༔

oṃ āḥ hūṃ sarva pañca amṛta mahā rakta balingta sarva pūjahūṃ hrīḥ ta༔

གཉས་པ་དངས་གཞའ་རམ་པ་ན།

II. The Stages of the Main Part ༔ ཧ༔ ཆས་ཉད་རམ་དག་ད་བཞན་ཉད༔

hum ༔ chönyi namdak dezhin nyi༔hūṃ ༔ The intrinsic nature is utterly pure, just as it is.༔ཡ་ཤས་འད་གསལ་ཀན་ལ་ཁབ༔

yeshé ösel kün la khyap༔The light of primordial wisdom pervades all.༔

ཟང་འཇག་ཧ་ཡག་མཐང་ནག་འབར༔

zungjuk hum yik ting nak bar༔Their unity, a dark blue syllable ‘hūṃ’ [ཧ], blazes forth,༔སད་བཅད་ཀན་སངས་ཡམ་ལའ་མཁའ༔

nöchü kün jang yum ngé kha༔purifying the world and all beings into the space of the five Mothers,༔དར་ཁད་རལ་པའ་གཞལ་ཡས་ཁང་༔

durtrö rölpé zhelyé khang༔from where the Charnel Display pure realm and celestial palace appear.༔ཕ་ནང་འཁར་ལ་རམ་གཉས་དབས༔

chi nang khorlo rim nyi ü༔In the center of its outer and inner circles,༔པད་ཉ་གདན་ར་དའ་སང་༔

pema nyi den rudré teng༔upon a throne of lotus, sun, and ego-demon3,༔རང་རག་ར་ར་དག་པ་རལ༔

rangrik dorjé drakpo tsel༔stands Dorjé Drakpo Tsal, natural self-awareness.༔

མཐང་ནག་གར་དགའ་ཉམས་དང་ལན༔

ting nak gar gü nyam dang den༔Dark blue, I express the nine moods of dance,༔

dorjé tsé gu drilbu dzin༔While holding a nine-pronged vajra and bell,༔མཐང་ནག་བར་གསལ་དར་ཁད་ཆས༔

ting nak ber söl durtrö ché༔and wearing a dark blue cape and charnel-ground attire.༔

ཀ་ད་ཤ་ར་ག་ཐད་འཛན༔

trodhi shari dri tö dzin༔Krodhishvari holds a curved knife and skullcup,༔བད་ཆན་འཁལ་སར་མ་ཕང་འབར༔

dechen triljor mé pung bar༔and we embrace in exaltation amid a mass of fire.༔

ཕགས་བཞར་རགས་བཞ་ཡབ་དང་ཡམ༔

chok zhir rik zhi yap dang yum༔In the four directions are the Lords and Ladies of the four families,༔སག་སར་དམར་ལང་རགས་ཀ་རགས༔

muk ser mar jang rik kyi tak༔brown, yellow, red, and green, marked with their family insignia.༔

སང་འག་ཕགས་མཚམས་ཁ་རལ་བཅ༔

teng ok chok tsam trogyel chu༔Above and below, in the cardinal and intermediate, are the ten Kings of Wrath,༔

མཐང་ནག་ར་ར་ཕར་བ་འདལ༔

ting nak dorjé purbu dril༔dark blue in color, each holding a vajra and rolling a kīla,༔ཡམ་སས་སལ་པ་བསམ་མ་ཁབ༔

yum sé trülpa sam mi khyap༔with their consorts, offspring, and emanations surpassing measure.༔

ཁམས་སར་སས་མ་ཉ་ཤའ་ཚགས༔

khyam gor semo nyishü tsok༔At the outer gateways are the twenty princesses,༔བཀའ་སད་དབང་ཕག་ཉ་ཤ་བརད༔

kadö wangchuk nyishu gyé༔the twenty-eight ishvari attendants,༔ར་གསམ་ར་མཚའ་སན་ཕང་འཁགས༔

tsa sum gyatsö trinpung trik༔and an ocean of the three roots, like billowing clouds.༔

རལ་བའ་ས་གསང་ཐགས་ར་ར༔

gyelwé ku sung tuk dorjé༔They are spontaneously present as the vajra form, speech, and heart༔ཡ་ཤས་ལ་ར་ལན་གས་གབ༔

yeshé nga ru lhün gyi drup༔of the victorious ones and the five primordial wisdoms.༔

zangdok pelri tsemo né༔from the peak of the Glorious Copper-Colored Mountain,༔པད་འད་ཀ་བང་ག་ཕགས༔

pema ö kyi jang gi chok༔from the Charnel Ground of Wrathful Display༔དབང་དག་རལ་པའ་དར་ཁད་ནས༔

wangdrak rölpé durtrö né༔in the north of the palace of Lotus Light,༔ར་ར་དག་པ་དབངས་ནས་བཞངས༔

dorjé drakpo ying né zheng༔Dorjé Drakpo, Vajra Wrath, come forth from basic space!༔

པད་ཁག་འཐང་གཤགས་ས་གསལ༔

pema traktung shek su söl༔Lotus Heruka, come! Please come here!༔

rikdzin tselchang shek su söl༔Mighty vidyādharas, come! Please come here!༔ཁ་བ་ཁ་མ་གཤགས་ས་གསལ༔

trowo tromo shek su söl༔Wrathful lords and ladies, come! Please come here!༔དཔའ་བ་མཁའ་འག་གཤགས་ས་གསལ༔

pawo khandro shek su söl༔Spiritual heroes and sky dancers, come! Please come here!༔དམ་ཅན་ཆས་སང་གཤགས་ས་གསལ༔

damchen chösung shek su söl༔Oath-bound Dharma guardians, come! Please come here!༔

གནས་མཆག་འད་ར་བན་ཕབ་ཅག༔

né chok di ru jin pop chik༔Bestow resplendence upon this supreme place!༔སབ་མཆག་བདག་ལ་དབང་བཞ་སར༔

drupchok dak la wang zhi kur༔Grant us the four empowerments, supreme yogis that we are!༔བགགས་དང་ལག་འདན་བར་ཆད་སལ༔

gek dang lokdren barché söl༔Remove all obstructers, false guides, and hindrances,༔མཆག་དང་ཐན་མང་དངས་གབ་སལ༔

chok dang tünmong ngödrup tsöl༔and bestow the supreme and common siddhis!༔

dzah hum bam hoh ༔ samaya tishta lhen༔jāḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ ༔ samaya-tiṣṭha lhan༔

ཨ་ཏ་པ་ཧཿ པ་ཏཙ་ཧཿ

atipuhoh ༔ pratista hoh༔atipūhoḥ ༔ pratīccha hoḥ༔

ཧ༔ དར་ཁད་མཆག་ག་ཉར་སད་བསམ་མ་ཁབ༔

hum ༔ durtrö chok gi nyerchö sam mi khyap༔hūṃ ༔ The offerings of this supreme charnel ground defy all thought:༔ར་བརད་སང་ལ་སར་བའ་ཨ་མ་ཏ༔

tsa gyé tong la jarwé amrita༔amrita of the eight root and thousand subsidiary ingredients,༔ཉན་མངས་འཁར་བ་བསལ་བའ་དམར་ཆན་པ༔

nyönmong khorwa drelwé mar chenpo༔the ‘great red’ of samsara and afflictions liberated,༔འདད་ཡན་རམ་ལ་གཏར་ཆན་ར་ལར་སངས༔

döyön nam nga torchen ri tar pung༔torma of the five sense pleasures piled high as a mountain,༔

jam dang nyingjé dra zin mi nga yang༔Full of love and compassion, you regard none as foe, yet still,༔གདག་པ་འདལ་བ་དས་ལས་མ་ཡལ་བ༔

dukpa dülwa dü lé mi yölwa༔you never fail to act in order to influence evil beings.༔

barwé ku chok bendurya yi ri༔Your supreme blazing body is a mountain of star sapphire,༔ཉ་མ་སང་ག་འད་ལར་གཟ་བརད་འབར༔

nyima tong gi ö tar ziji bar༔bright as a thousand suns, resplendent with majesty.༔གག་འཁག་འད་བའ་ལགས་འགར་ཉ་ཟའ་སན༔

lok khyuk drawé jak gyur nyi dé chen༔Your tongue flashes faster than lightning, your eyes are like sun and moon.༔མ་སག་སག་པ་དཔའ་བ་ཁད་ལ་བསད༔

mi duk gekpa pawo khyö la tö༔Monstrously charming hero, I offer you homage and praise!༔

ཨ་ར་ལ་ར་སག་པ་ས་གསམ་གཡ༔

a ra li ru drokpa sa sum yo༔With calls of ‘arali’, you make the three planes quake.༔ཧ་ཕཊ་གཤ་བའ་ས་ཡས་བདད་སང་འགས༔

hum pé shewé dra yi dü nying gé༔With bloody sounds of ‘hūṃ’ and ‘phaṭ’, you blast the maras’ hearts apart.༔

tok druk bumtrak yowa ngampé sung༔Your ferocious speech is deafening, like a hundred thousand claps of thunder.༔ཆ་ཤས་ཙམ་གས་དན་ཆན་མཛད་ལ་བསད༔

chashé tsam gyi dönchen dzé la tö༔A mere fraction of it accomplishes the great goal. To you, I offer homage and praise!༔

སང་ར་ཆ་བས་འག་བ་ཐབས་ཀས་འདལ༔

nyingjé chewé drowa tap kyi dül༔Through your intense compassion, with skilfull means you tame beings.༔ཞ་བའ་ངང་ལས་མ་གཡས་མཉམ་པའ་ཐགས༔

zhiwé ngang lé mayö nyampé tuk༔Your wisdom heart is unwavering, ever even, in constant peace.༔རམས་པའ་སབས་པས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཟལ་གས་གནན༔

ngampé pobpé tamché zil gyi nön༔With your fierce courage, you subjugate one and all.༔ལག་ལ་བདད་དཔང་འཇམས་ལ་ཕག་འཚལ་བསད༔

lokta dü pung jom la chaktsel tö༔To you, defeater of the mara-hordes of wrong views, I offer homage and praise!༔

ཡ་ཤས་ལ་ལན་རགས་ཀ་སས་དང་འཁར༔

yeshé ngaden rik kyi sé dang khor༔The buddha-family heirs and their retinues, those who hold the five wisdoms;༔

né dang yül nam kyongwa khandrö tsok༔the hosts of land and valley protectors, the gathering of sky-dancers—༔ཁག་འཐང་དཀལ་འཁར་ལ་ཚགས་རམས་ལ་བསད༔

traktung kyilkhor lha tsok nam la tö༔to all the deities of the Heruka’s mandala, I shower you with praise!༔

བསལ་ཞང་བཟས་པ་བ་བ་ན༔

With that, invoke them. Then engage in the mantra recitation, as follows.༔

ཧ༔ དབང་དག་རལ་པའ་དཀལ་འཁར་འདར༔

hum ༔ wangdrak rölpé kyilkhor dir༔hūṃ ༔ Here in this mandala of Wrathful Display,༔སང་པ་དན་ག་རག་འཛན་བསབ༔

nyingpo dön gyi rikdzin drup༔I will accomplish the quintessential vidyādhara!༔ས་གསང་ཐགས་དང་ཡ་ཤས་ཀ༔

ku sung tuk dang yeshé kyi༔I will practice the approach and accomplishment༔བསན་སབ་དམ་ཚག་བཞན་ད་སབ༔

nyen drup damtsik zhin du drup༔of form, speech, heart, and wisdom, according to my sacred commitments.༔

sok gi chir yang mi tongwé༔I will never forsake them, even at the cost of my own life.༔ར་ར་རལ་པས་དངས་གབ་སལ༔

dorjé gyelpö ngödrup tsöl༔So, Vajra Wrath, grant me the accomplishments!༔

རང་ག་ཐགས་ཀར་འད་ཀ་ཀང་༔

rang gi tukar ö kyi long༔In the center of my chest, within a mass of light,༔ཡ་ཤས་སམས་དཔའ་ར་ར་འཆང་༔

yeshé sempa dorjé chang༔is the wisdom being, Vajradhara,༔ཏང་འཛན་ར་རའ་ལ་བ་ར༔

tingdzin dorjé tewa ru༔and the samadhi being, a vajra in whose hub ༔དངས་མའ་ཡ་ག་ཧ་ད་འབར༔

dangmé yigé hum du bar༔there blazes ‘hūṃ’ [ཧ], the quintessential syllable,༔སགས་ཀ་ཕང་བས་བསར་བ་ལས༔

ngak kyi trengwé korwa lé༔surrounded by the mantra garland.༔

འད་འཕས་བད་གཤགས་རལ་བ་དགས༔

ö trö deshek gyelwa gyé༔Light streams forth and pleases the victorious sugatas,༔

ngödrup kün dü dak la tim༔gathers back all the siddhis and dissolves them into me.༔

zhi dang trowö trinlé kyi༔The peaceful and wrathful activities,༔འག་བ་བ་མད་ས་ལ་བསལ༔

drowa lamé sa la drel༔free all beings into the unsurpassable state.༔

ཕ་སད་དབང་དག་འབར་བའ་ཞང་༔

chinö wangdrak barwé zhing༔The environment is the pure realm of Wrathful Blaze;༔ནང་བཅད་ས་གསང་ཐགས་ཀ་ངང་༔

nangchü ku sung tuk kyi ngang༔all beings are the continuity of wisdom form, speech, and heart.༔ཡ་ཤས་དཀལ་འཁར་ལན་གས་གབ༔

yeshé kyilkhor lhün gyi drup༔The wisdom mandala is spontaneously present.༔

om pema shri heruka benza trodha hum pé༔oṃ padma śri heruka vajra krodha hūṃ phaṭ༔

ku sung tuk lé yeshé ché༔From form, speech, and heart, primordial wisdom blazes forth,༔འབར་བས་གཟང་འཛན་དག་བགགས་བསག༔

barwé zungdzin dra gek sek༔incinerating dualistic fixation—that horde of foes and obstructers—༔གཉས་ས་མད་པའ་ཡ་ཤས་ཀ༔

nyisu mepé yeshé kyi༔bringing it to rest within the basic space of exaltation,༔བད་བ་ཆན་པའ་དབངས་ས་གནས༔

dewa chenpö ying su né༔primordial wisdom that is beyond duality.༔ཧ་ཧ་ཧ་ཕཊ་བ་ར༔

hum ha hé pé jo ram༔hūṃ ha he phaṭ bhyo raṃ༔

བསན་སབ་རམ་བཞ་རགས་པའ༔

With that, the four stages of approach and accomplishment are fulfilled.༔ས་མ་ཡ༔

Arrange whatever food and drink you have, and say:

ར་ཡ་ཁ༔ ཡ་ཤས་མ་རང་ཆ་ཡས་དངས་སང་སངས༔

ram yam kham ༔ yeshé mé lung chu yi ngönang jang༔Raṃ yaṃ khaṃ ༔ Wisdom fire, wind, and water purify grasping to appearances as real,༔སད་བཅད་གཞར་གཞངས་ར་རའ་ལངས་སད་གར༔

nö chü zhir zheng dorjé long chö gyur༔and the vessel and contents as the manifest ground become vajra enjoyments.༔

ཨ་ཨཿཧ༔ ཧ་ཧཿཧཿས་བན་རབས།

om ah hum ༔ ha hoh hrih༔oṃ āḥ hūṃ ༔ ha hoḥ hrīḥ༔

སན་འདན་མཆད་འབལ་ན།

With that, consecrate them. To then perform the invitation and present theoffering, say:

pema gesar dongpo la༔in the heart of a lotus flower,༔ཡ་མཚན་མཆག་ག་དངས་གབ་བརས༔

yamtsen choki ngödrup nyé༔you came, renowned as Lotus-Born,༔པད་འབང་གནས་ཞས་ས་གགས༔

pema jungné zhesu drak༔your supreme siddhi wondrous,༔འཁར་ད་མཁའ་འག་མང་པས་བསར༔

khordu khandro mangpö kor༔with your retinue of sky-goers.༔ཁད་ཀ་རས་ས་བདག་བསབ་ཀ༔

khyé kyi jesu dak drup kyi༔That I follow you to attainment,༔བན་གས་བརབ་ཕར་གཤགས་ས་གསལ༔

jin gyi lap chir shek su söl༔come forth, please, and bestow your blessings!༔

འདད་ཡན་ཚགས་ལ་སན་འདན་ན།

döyön tsok la chendren naAs we invite you to this gathering of pleasures,

gek dang lokdren barché söl༔Remove all obstructers, false guides, and hindrances,༔མཆག་དང་ཐན་མང་དངས་གབ་སལ༔

chok dang tünmong ngödrup tsöl༔and bestow the supreme and common siddhis!༔

rikdzin gyatsö kyilkhor lha tsok la༔Host of mandala deities, infinite vidyādharas—༔ར་རའ་ལངས་སད་འདད་ཡན་ར་མཚའ་སན༔

dorjé longchö döyön gyatsö trin༔I present you ocean-like clouds of vajra enjoyments,༔བད་སང་ཟང་འཇག་ཚགས་ཀ་དགས་མཆད་འབལ༔

detong zung jug tsok ki gyé chö bül༔a delightful offering of empty-bliss union.༔ཐགས་དམ་བསང་གར་ཉམས་ཆག་སག་ལང་བཤགས༔

tukdam kang gyur nyam chak dik tung shak༔May your hearts be fulfilled, and all my breaches, misdeeds, and downfalls confessed.༔

གསལ་བ་འདབས་ས་བན་གས་བརབ་ཏ་གསལ༔

sölwa depso jin gyi lap tu söl༔I supplicate you, bestow your blessings!༔ཕ་ནང་གསང་བའ་བར་ཆད་ཞ་བ་དང་༔

chi nang sangwé barché zhiwa dang༔Pacify the outer, inner, and secret obstacles༔བསམ་པ་ལན་གས་འགབ་པར་བན་གས་རབས༔

sampa lhün gyi drupar jin gyi lop༔and bless me that my wishes be spontaneously fulfilled!༔

ཨ་ཨཿཧ་བཛ་ག་ར་པད་སད་ཧ༔

om ah hum benza guru pema siddhi hum༔oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma siddhi hūṃ༔

ཞས་པ་འདའང་དམ་པས་གནང་བ་ཐབ་ཅང༌། ཉ་གནས་བདད་འདལ་ནས་རན་བཅས་བསལ་ངར། མཆག་གང་གཏར་སས་སལ་མང་པས་བས་པ་ཤ་བ།། །།

Having attained permission from sublime beings and in response to therequest and offering made by the caretaker Düdül, this was written by theone they call Chokling Tersé Tulku, reincarnation of the son of the tertönChokgyur Lingpa. Śubhaṃ—may this bring goodness!

hum ༔ tongpé tsel lé sharwa nam༔hūṃ ༔ All manifestations, sprung from emptiness itself,༔ཐམས་ཅད་ཆས་ཀ་དབངས་ས་བས༔

tamché chö kyi ying su du༔are gathered back into the basic space of all,༔མ་སས་མ་འགགས་ནམ་མཁའ་ངང་༔

ma kyé mi gak namkhé ngang༔and dissolved into the state of the Mighty Blaze,༔དབང་ཆན་འབར་བའ་ངང་ད་ཐམ༔

wangchen barwé ngang du tim༔the sky-like continuity, free from arising and ceasing.༔

ཧ༔ ས་མད་དབངས་ལས་འབར་བའ་ས༔

hum ༔ kyemé ying lé barwé ku༔hūṃ ༔ From birthless basic space manifests blazing wisdom-form,༔སད་གསམ་ལ་ཡ་སར་རགས་པ༔

si sum lha yi kur dzokpa༔the three planes of existence perfected as divine form.༔ར་ར་མ་འགར་རང་བཞན་ལས༔

dorjé migyur rangzhin lé༔This unchanging vajra nature༔

གང་གས་གཞམ་པར་མ་ནས་ས༔

gang gi zhompar mi nü so༔is utterly indestructible.༔

བཛ་ཀ་ཝ་ཙ་རཀ་ཧ༔

benza ka wa tsi raksha hum༔vajra kā va ci rakṣa hūṃ༔

ཧ༔ སང་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཡ་ས༔

drakpa tamché ngak kyi yang༔all sounds as mantra melody,༔རག་པ་རང་གསལ་ཆས་ཀ་ས༔

rikpa rangsel chökyi ku༔and luminous awareness as dharmakāya,༔འག་བ་ཡངས་ཀ་དཔལ་ད་ཤག༔

drowa yong kyi pel du shok༔may I be the glory of all beings!༔

ཨ་ཨཿཧ༔

om ah hum༔oṃ āḥ hūṃ༔

ད་ལར་གསང་བའ་སབ་པ་འད༔

This secret practice༔དངས་སབ་བསབ་ལ་མར་བའ་ལམ༔

accomplishes the siddhis and is a swift path.༔སལ་ལན་རམས་དང་འཕད་པར་ཤག༔

May it meet with those of appropriate karmic fortune!༔སལ་མད་རམས་ལ་གསང་ར༔

It must be kept secret from those without such fortune.༔ས་མ་ཡ་ར༔ གཏར་ར༔ སས་ར༔

Samaya. ༔ Treasure seal. ༔ Seal of concealment.༔

མཆག་གར་གང་པས་ནམ་མཁའ་མཛད་ནས་སན་དངས་པའ།། །།

Chokgyur Lingpa revealed this from the treasury of space.

hoh ༔ rikdzin lamé kyilkhor drupé tü༔Hoḥ. ༔ By the power of accomplishing the vidyādhara guru’s mandala,༔བདག་དང་མཐའ་ཡས་སམས་ཅན་མ་ལས་ཀན༔

dak dang tayé semchen malü kün༔may I and each and every countless being༔ཕན་ལས་རམ་བཞ་ལན་གས་གབ་པ་དང་༔

trinlé nam zhi lhün gyi drupa dang༔instantly display the four awakened activities and༔འད་གསལ་ཆས་སའ་དབངས་ས་གལ་བར་ཤག༔

ösel chökü ying su drölwar shok༔be liberated within the luminous expanse of dharmakāya.༔4

choktün ngödrup drupé trashi shok༔and thus may there be auspiciousness for the attainment of supreme and common siddhis!༔

དས་ཀན་ར་བའ་བ་མ་དང་༔ བདག་ཉད་ཆན་པ་པད་ལ༔ དབར་མད་གསལ་འདབས་མས་གས་ཀས༔ བར་ཆད་ཀན་སལ་དངས་གབ་ཐབ༔

Through the devotion of continuously praying ༔ to the root guru asinseparable ༔ from myself, the great Padma, ༔ all obstacles will be dispelled,and all siddhis attained!༔ས་མ་ཡ༔ ར་ར་ར༔

Namo guru! ༔ On the tenth day of the monkey month of the monkey year, theGuru of Uḍḍiyāna said this aspiration prayer in the 'turquoise-coveredshrine' on the second floor of Samye, at the time of opening the Vajradhātumaṇḍala. The king and his subjects made it their constant heart practice.༔Future generations should also maintain it one-pointedly.༔ཕགས་བཅ་དས་བཞའ་རལ་བ་སས་དང་བཅས༔

malü zhing gi dülnyé sheksu söl༔all of you without exception, as numerous as atoms in the universe, please come now༔མདན་ག་ནམ་མཁར་པད་ཟའ་གདན་ལ་བཞགས༔

dün gyi namkhar pedé den la zhuk༔into the space before me, and take your seats on these cushions of lotus and moon.༔

chin ché delé dok chir daki dam༔from now on, I vow to turn away from them all.༔བསད་ནམས་དག་ཚགས་ཀན་ལ་ཡ་རང་ང་༔

sönam getsok kün la yirang ngo༔I rejoice in all accumulations of virtue and merit.༔རལ་བའ་ཚགས་རམས་མ་ངན་མ་འདའ་བར༔

gyelwé tsok nam nyangen midawar༔I beseech all the victorious ones not to pass beyond sorrow,༔

denö sum dang lamé chökhor kor༔But to turn the wheel of the three piṭakas and of the unsurpassed Dharma.༔དག་ཚགས་མ་ལས་འག་བའ་རད་ལ་བས༔

getsok malü drowé gyüla ngo༔I dedicate all accumulations of virtue, without exception, to the minds of beings:༔འག་རམས་བ་མད་ཐར་པའ་སར་ཕན་ཤག༔

dronam lamé tarpé sar chin shok༔May they all reach the ground of unsurpassable liberation!༔

སངས་རས་སས་བཅས་བདག་ལ་དགངས་ས་གསལ༔

sangyé seché dak la gongsu söl༔Buddhas and your bodhisattva heirs, turn your attention towards me!༔བདག་གས་བརམས་པའ་སན་ལམ་རབ་བཟང་འད༔

daki tsampé mönlam rap zang di༔May this excellent aspiration that I am now making,༔རལ་བ་ཀན་ཏ་བཟང་དང་ད་སས་དང་༔

gyelwa küntuzang dang desé dang༔emulate the prayers༔འཕགས་པ་འཇམ་དཔལ་དབངས་ཀ་མཁན་པ་ལར༔

pakpa jampel yang kyi khyenpa tar༔of the victorious Samantabhadra with his bodhisattva heirs,༔

ད་དག་ཀན་ག་རས་ས་བདག་སབ་ཤག༔

dedak kün gyi jesu dak lop shok༔and noble Mañjughoṣa's omniscient wisdom.༔

བསན་པའ་དཔལ་གར་བ་མ་རན་ཆན་རམས༔

tenpé pelgyur lama rinchen nam༔May the precious gurus, the glory of the teachings,༔ནམ་མཁའ་བཞན་ད་ཀན་ལ་ཁབ་པར་ཤག༔

namkha zhindu kün la khyapar shok༔pervade everywhere like space itself,༔ཉ་ཟ་བཞན་ད་ཀན་ལ་གསལ་བར་ཤག༔

nyida zhindu kün la selwar shok༔and illuminate everything like the sun and moon.༔ར་བ་བཞན་ད་རག་ཏ་བརན་པར་ཤག༔

riwo zhindu tak tu tenpar shok༔May they always be with us, steadfast like mountains.༔

བསན་པའ་གཞ་མ་དག་འདན་རན་པ་ཆ༔

tenpé zhima gendün rinpoché༔May the precious sangha, the bedrock of the teachings,༔ཐགས་མཐན་ཁམས་གཙང་བསབ་གསམ་གས་ཕག་ཤག༔

tuk tün trim tsang lap sum gyi chuk shok༔remain in harmony, maintain pure discipline and be rich in the three higher trainings.༔

བསན་པའ་སང་པ་གསང་སགས་སབ་པའ་ས༔

tenpé nyingpo sang ngak drupé dé༔May the practitioners of the Secret Mantrayāna, the heart of the teachings,༔དམ་ཚག་ལན་ཞང་བསད་རགས་མཐར་ཕན་ཤག༔

damtsik den zhing kyé dzok tarchin shok༔keep their samaya commitments and perfect the generation and completion stages.༔

བསན་པའ་སན་བདག་ཆས་སང་རལ་པ་ཡང་༔

tenpé jindak chökyong gyelpo yang༔For the king who protects the Dharma, the benefactor of the teachings,༔ཆབ་སད་རས་ཤང་བསན་ལ་སན་པར་ཤག༔

chapsi gyé shing ten la menpar shok༔may his kingdom flourish and may he be of benefit to the Dharma.༔བསན་པའ་ཞབས་འདགས་རལ་རགས་བན་པ་ཡང་༔

tenpé zhapdek gyelrik lönpo yang༔May those who serve the teachings, warriors and ministers,༔བ་གས་རབ་འཕལ་རལ་དང་ལན་པར་ཤག༔

lodrö rap pel tsel dang denpar shok༔possess increasing skills and supreme intelligence.༔

བསན་པའ་གསས་བད་ཁམ་བདག་འབར་ལན་རམས༔

tenpé söjé khyimdak jorden nam༔May the wealthy householders who sustain the teachings༔

ལངས་སད་ལན་ཞང་ཉར་འཚ་མད་པར་ཤག༔

longchö den zhing nyertsé mepar shok༔be prosperous and always free from harm.༔བསན་ལ་དད་པའ་ཡངས་པའ་རལ་ཁམས་ཀན༔

ten la depé yangpé gyelkham kün༔May all Buddhist nations where there is faith in the teachings༔བད་སད་ལན་ཞང་བར་ཆད་ཞ་བར་ཤག༔

dekyi den zhing barché zhiwar shok༔enjoy happiness and well-being, with all obstacles pacified.༔

ལམ་ལ་གནས་པའ་རལ་འབར་བདག་ཉད་ཀང་༔

lam la nepé neljor dak nyi kyang༔And for me, this yogi on the path,༔དམ་ཚག་མ་ཉམས་བསམ་པ་འགབ་པར་ཤག༔

damtsik minyam sampa drupar shok༔may my samaya never decline and my wishes be fulfilled.༔བདག་ལ་བཟང་ངན་ལས་ཀས་འབལ་གར་གང་༔

dak la zang ngen lé kyi drel gyur gang༔May whoever makes a connection with me, through positive or negative karma,༔གནས་སབས་མཐར་ཐག་རལ་བས་རས་འཛན་ཤག༔

nekap tartuk gyelwé jedzin shok༔Always be blessed by the buddhas' care,༔འག་རམས་བ་མད་ཐག་པའ་སར་ཞགས་ནས༔

dronam lamé tekpé gor zhuk né༔and may all beings cross the gate of the supreme vehicle,༔

künzang gyelsi chenpo topar shok༔and reach Samantabhadra's great kingdom.༔

The great tertön Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, who was an emanation ofprince Murup Tsenpo, revealed this treasure publicly, below the peak ofDrakri Rinchen Tsekpa (Precious Rocky Mountain), on the right edge of themost sublime place, Sengchen Namdrak (Great Lion Sky Rock). The termawas originally written down by Yeshé Tsogyel in formal Tibetanhandwriting upon silk paper made from the Dharma robe of Vairotsana,and was immediately and perfectly transcribed by Pema Garwang LodröThayé upon discovery. May virtue and well-being increase and spread!
