Successfully conducted for the first time in Eastern India , the Masterclass 2018

Course under the aegis of Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India

from 22nd Feb 2018 to 25th Feb 2018. It was attended by approximately 47

national faculties and more than 120 delegates from fifteen states across India.

Dr Tanmoy Ghorui with Dr Amit Ray successfully conducted a CDE in association

with Apollo Clinics on 3rd June 2018 regarding Medically Compromised Patients.

Oral & Maxillofacial Day was celebrated in the college , under the theme “ Go Green ” on 13th Feb 2018, where new plant saplings were done and is maintained by the students of GNIDSR.

Blood donation camp was conduction under AOMSI West Bengal Branch in the department of OMFS on 23rd April, 2018 and 70 units of blood were collected to be used for charitable purpose.

MEGA COLLEGE FEST- “DREAMZ 2019”

Dreamz the mega fest plays host to several of the most prominent colleges in Kolkata.

Needless to say, the event have plenty of exposure in the presence of thousands of

students, doctors, professors and prominent alumni.

DREAMZ 2019, the 14th intercollege scientific and cultural fest of GNIDSR was

inaugurated yesterday at a gala opening ceremony which was graced by Janab Abul

Kalam Azad Islam, SDO, Barrackpore;

Sri Surojit Chatterjee, noted singer musician and composer and Dr A Niyogi, Dean,

College of Medicine and Sagore Dutta Hospital.

The dignitaries addressed the gathering and the guest of Honor Sri Surojit Chatterjee

pleasantly surprised the audience with his musical rendition.

ON THE 17TH OF JAN 2019, GNIDSR CELEBRATED ANNUAL SPORTS DAY FOR THE FACULTY,

NON-TEACHING STAFF AND THE STUDENTS.IT WAS A GRAND EVENT THAT SAW BOTH THE

TEACHERS AS WELL AS THE STUDENTS TAKE PART IN ALL THE EVENTS IN LARGE

NUMBERS WITH A LOT OF ENTHUSIASM.

AGE WAS NO DETERRENT AS THE SENIOR FACULTY MEMBERS WERE A MATCH TO THE

YOUNG AND ACTIVE STUDENTS!

EXCURSION 2019

THE BATCH OF 2014-2018 ORGANISED A COLLEGE EXCURSION TO THE SCOTLAND

OF THE EAST, A TRIP TO GUWAHATI-SHILLONG-KAZIRANGA FROM THE 2ND OF

MARCH TO 10TH OF MARCH. A TOTAL NO OF 70 INCLUDING TEACHERS AND NON
