Gyms in Worcester by Robert Murray Gyms are not only places for the finely tuned and fit person but also for those who want to feel a little fitter and also experience the good feelings from being a little fitter. Those who train regularly know the feeling of that chemical element called endorphins are very much like the bodies happy pill. Exercise creates endorphins and in turn gives the human body a real sense of well being. Most gyms are split into two sections the aerobic area and the weights area, they have very different functions but are both vital to helping you achieve your goals. The aerobic area is the most popular for many gyms goers and is normally the home of exercise bikes, treadmills and steppers. Exercise bikes don't need an explanation, they are stationary bikes which emulate a road bike. The machine can be riden with several different amounts of resistance . A treadmill works along the same lines with the ability to raise up to emulate a hill. Steppers are designed to emulate walking or for the more advanced running up steps. Some weights sections in gyms can be a little off putting and should really be designed so the newby feels comfortable to enter. Lifting weights is designed to build muscle(Heavy weights versus less repetitions) or loose weight (Light weights and more repetitions). There is a risk of muscle tear working with weights with the wrong form or too much weight, this is why most gyms insist on a induction to teach you the correct way. This will generally consist of the trainer taking you through each piece of equipment and showing you the correct form and the muscle that each piece of equipment is working, it is highly recommended that you follow the instructions of the instructor to save yourself from injury. Gyms in Worcester

by Robert Murray

Gyms are not only places for the finely tuned and fit person but also for those who want to feel a little fitter and also experience the good feelings from being a little fitter.
