1975–1980 Director, University Year for Action at SUNY, Purchase . . . supervised the monitoring of the Housing and Community Development Acts of 1974 and 1977 within Westchester County . . . established cooperative relationships with local agencies to evaluate policy impacts of the “urban county program.” The success of this project also led to an enhancement grant, whereby students in the Urban Affairs Program worked with students in the School of the Arts to plan and revitalize an inner city area . . . the project demonstrated the viability of interdisciplinary research, training, program implementation, and public-private partnerships.
