    The programmable electronic systems (PES) of the H41q/

    H51q system families are used extensively in the chemical

    and petrochemical, as well as in the energy-producing

    industry.

    H41q systems are single rack systems which are suitable

    for automation tasks with a maximum of 208 I/O points.

    More comprehensive processes with more I/O points can

    be automated using H51q systems, which can be extended

    thanks to their modular structure.

    H41q/H51q systems are programmed in a safe and simple

    way with ELOP II. In conformance with IEC 61131-3, ELOP II

    provides the basis for increased productivity in both imple-

    mentation and operation.

    The 2oo4D/QMR structure, realized by means of a second

    central module, ensures maximum fault tolerance in the

    central area.

    Selective I/O module redundancy provides the required

    fault tolerance for each safety loop.
