Morning Worship 11:00 a.m. April 16, 2017 Celebration and Praise

“Happy Day” The greatest day in history

Death is beaten You have rescued me Sing it out Jesus is alive

The empty cross the empty grave Life Eternal You have won the day Shout it out Jesus is alive He's alive

And oh happy day happy day You washed my sin away

Oh happy day happy day I'll never be the same Forever I am changed

When I stand in that place Free at last meeting face to face I am Yours Jesus You are mine Endless joy perfect peace

Earthly pain finally will cease Celebrate Jesus is alive He's alive

Oh what a glorious day What a glorious way

That You have saved me And oh what a glorious day What a glorious Name Hey

What a glorious glorious day I'll never be the same

Welcome, Announcements, and Prayer Mike Responsive Reading Isaiah 53:1-6; Philippians 2:8 “At The Cross (Love Ran Red)”

There's a place Where mercy reigns and never dies There's a place Where streams of grace flow deep and wide

Where all the love I've ever found Comes like a flood comes flowing down

At the cross at the cross I surrender my life

I'm in awe of You I'm in awe of You

Where Your love ran red and my sin washed white I owe all to You I owe all to You Jesus

There's a place Where sin and shame are powerless

Where my heart Has peace with God and forgiveness Where all the love I've ever found

Comes like a flood comes flowing down

Here my hope is found Here on holy ground Here I bow down here I bow down Here arms open wide

Here You saved my life Here I bow down here I bow (down)

Jesus Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me)

One day when heaven was filled with His praises One day when sin was as black as could be

Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin Dwelt among men my example is He The Word became flesh

And the light shined among us His glory revealed

Living He loved me dying He saved me Buried He carried my sins far away

Rising He justified freely forever One day He's coming O glorious day O glorious day (Glorious day)

One day they led Him up Calv'ry's mountain

One day they nailed Him to die on a tree Suffering anguish despised and rejected

Bearing our sins my Redeemer is He The hand that healed nations Stretched out on a tree And took the nails from me

One day the grave could conceal Him no longer

One day the stone rolled away from the door Then He arose over death He had conquered

Now is ascended my Lord evermore Death could not hold Him The grave could not keep Him

From rising again (rising again)

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming

One day the skies with His glories will shine Wonderful day my beloved one bringing

My Savior Jesus is mine Responsive Reading John 11:25-27; Romans 6:9-14; Romans 3:23-26; John 14:6 “In Christ Alone”

In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light my strength my song This Cornerstone this solid ground

Firm through the fiercest drought and storm What heights of love what depths of peace When fears are stilled when strivings cease

My Comforter my all in all Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless Babe

This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save

'Til on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied

For ev'ry sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay

Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious day Up from the grave He rose again

And as He stands in victory Sin's curse has lost its grip on me

For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life no fear in death This is the pow'r of Christ in me From life's first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny

No pow'r of hell no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand 'Til He returns or calls me home Here in the pow'r of Christ I'll stand

Offertory Prayer Worship through Offerings “Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery”

Come behold the wondrous myst’ry, in the dawning of the King. He the theme of heaven’s praises, robed in frail humanity.

In our longing, in our darkness, now the light of life has come. Look to Christ, who condescended, took on flesh to ransom us.

Come behold the wondrous myst’ry, He the perfect Son of Man.

In His living, in His suff’ring, never trace, nor stain of sin. See the true and better Adam, come to save the hell-bound man. Christ the great and sure fulfillment of the law, in Him we stand.

Come behold the wondrous myst’ry, Christ the Lord upon the tree.

In the stead of ruined sinners hangs the Lamb in victory. See the price of our redemption, see the Father’s plan unfold; Bringing many sons to glory; grace unmeasured, love untold.

Come behold the wondrous myst’ry; slain by death, the God of life.

But no grave could e’er restrain Him. Praise the Lord, He is alive! What a foretaste of deliverance, how unwavering our hope. Christ in power resurrected, as we will be when He comes.

What a foretaste of deliv’rance, how unwavering our hope. Christ in power resurrected, as we will be when He comes.

Song of Commitment “Come As You Are”

Come out of sadness from wherever you've been Come broken-hearted let rescue begin

Come find your mercy O sinner come kneel Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal

(So) Lay down your burdens lay down your shame

All who are broken lift up your face O wanderer come home

You're not too far So lay down your hurt lay down your heart

Come as you are

There's hope for the hopeless And all those who've strayed

Come sit at the table come taste the grace There's rest for the weary

Rest that endures Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't cure

Come as you are Fall in His arms

Come as you are

There's joy for the morning O sinner be still Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal

Come as you are Come as you are Come as you are
