The Record reported, “Our prime-graded steaks bore thin, flavorful chars, the deep pink of proper medium-rare doneness and the funky minerality that only comes with proper dry-aging, the process that chases away excess moisture and intensifies the meat's flavor.” Reporter and music virtuoso Mitchell Zeidwig, recommends the Shoe String Papaya Salad with Carrots & the Bone-in Filet Mignon. “The tastes were powerful.” Carolyn DelaFrange, of the International Food Wine and Travel Assoc., wrote, “The mouth-watering Mary- land Crab cakes with a marvelous Lobster Sauce & the Flintstone, a Rib Steak with quite an extra- long bone are awe-inspiring & large enough for lunch with your family the next day.” Collette Finck of the Restaurant Research Society, thought the New York Strip was a sensible choice . She wrote, “The portion isn’t overwhelming and hasn’t any waste but do try the 3 differently delicious Kobe Beef Sliders to start-amazing.” Billy Taylor, former NFL Giant, wrote, “My favorite is Oysters Hamilton to start & the 48 oz Porterhouse for Two. This is the best buy, as it can feed two or three & is outstanding Prime, dry-aged meat and in other steak house the price was 25% higher. Here, the vegetables are fresh, the mashed potatoes are flavorful and the service is very well done.” Len Trugman of ABC wrote, “The Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass in an alluring Miso Glaze is a good choice, but have the Ward Famous Salad & a fresh Colossal Crabmeat Cocktail.
