HANNAH BARLOW PRIVATE ACTING COACH

Hannah Barlow is an actor, filmmaker, screenwriter and visual artist. Hannah is McDonald College alumni (2002 - 2009) and during her time at the college received multiple scholarships for acting, art & academic excellence. She was also elected as a school captain & prefect, nominated for “Onstage” for her IP & GP, exhibited her major work for “Art Express” and earned the highest ATAR for her grade. After attending & graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts with a BDA in acting, Hannah was cast in various theatre and film productions, including Warner Brothers Two Sentence Horror Stories & Evan Cooper’s The Armoire. After an international festival run Hannah’s first feature film (writer, director, producer) For Now received distribution and was released worldwide earlier this year. Hannah has been previously nominated for Australian’s In Film’s prestigious Heath Ledger Scholarship and has also been a recipient of The Art Start Grant and The Glorias’ Fellowship. Hannah is currently producing her second feature film SISSY via her production company Dog Park Pictures.

Hannah has been teaching acting for NIDA Open Program, Brent Street Agency, Startime Studios, The McDonald College, Sydney Performance Academy, Imperial Artistry, Q Theatre, Dance Encore and as a private coach since 2010, specialising in on-set coaching, screen-testing and Drama School auditions. Hannah’s private students have booked leads in film & tv projects, successfully auditioned for NIDA and received IP & GP nominations for the HSC’s ‘Onstage.’
