HARI Times NOV-DEC 2014
Dear Devotees,
Another page is turned in the book of HARI’s history, marking the conclusion of another team of(Executive Committee and Board Of Trustees 2014). We are grateful to all of you for having given us this wonderful opportunity to serve our Community HARI.
This year has been a year of HARI renovation projects executed as part of repairs and maintenance. We fixed the two well pumps, two pressure tanks, priest quarters ,roof leaks, temple entrance, electrical fix-tures, Yarnell Security system upgrades, and upper hall beautification all of which are easily recognizable.
Our beloved priests worked alongside the EC & BOT teams to bring programs like Dwajaarohan, Bhak-totsavam, Rudhrabishekam, Tusli Vivah, and Sri Vari Kalyanotsavam. Over the year, our priests have also performed about 375 puja services(160 in-temple and 215 outside temple premises) in addition to the regular pujas at the temple.
We also celebrated 41 HARI facilitated events apart from the 11 HARI sponsored functions, for a total of 52 HARI programs. EC 2014 members provided incredible support to each of the programs.
This year HARI School has received about 100 registrations so far. Dedicated volunteer teachers pro-vide many new classes for the benefit of the community.
HARI Community Youth conducted the Rakhi Run fundraiser event raising about $17,000.
BOT organized fundraisers, projects like HARI upper hall beautification, front entrance repairs and worked on long term plans for the betterment of HARI and its future.
While mentioning some of the efforts concluded this year, we wish to add that there are many more to be undertaken. In welcoming the new team, it is our fervent desire that HARI will continue to fulfill its mission as the place for all religious and cultural needs and bring happiness to our community.
At your service
