Fix the metal bracket to the ceiling, ensuring thereis a joist at the point of fixing to support the weightof the product. Mark in the ceiling the position of the bracket holes.Drill in these points ensuring any wire of the existinghousehold wiring could be damaged. Insert the wallplugs, place the bracket over them and screw up thebolts.

To prevent electrocution, switch off at the mains supply before installing ormaintaining this fitting. Ensure other persons cannot restore the electricitysupply without your knowledge.

Always use the correct type and rated power bulb. Never exceed the ratedpower stated.

When changing a bulb, always switch off at the mains and allow the old bulbto cool down before handling. Dispose of used bulbs carefully.

The bulb and surrounding parts can become extremely hot during use.

Having identified the household wiring from yourexisting light fitting, connect to the connection blockinside.Ensure that :You have correctly identified the house wires.The connections are tight. No loose strands havebeen left out of the connection block.

If necessary, loosen the small bolt and move the cable toadjust the height of the pendant lamp.Then tighten the bolt again.

Place the canopy over the metal bracket inserting and tightening the screws. provided.

5 Fit the shade using the shade retention ring.

6 Fit the bulb type/rated power as indicated on theluminaire. The rated power indicated must not be exceeded.Switch on the electricity supply at the fuse board.
