=II. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

There's a little bit difference between Harvest Moon: FoMT

and this one,

beside the graphics improvement of course.

Here's some change on the game:

1. You will notice that some events will dissapear, and of

course there's

some new events as the substitute.

2. You will have a mirror, when you have upgraded your

house you can buy it

on TV netwotk. With the mirror, you can change your

clothes. When i

say 'change your clothes', don't dreaming that you

can change that

farmer outfit with a skirt or jeans, nope you can't

do that. The outfit

is still the same, only the color will change.

Disappointed? well,

me too at first.

3. Now, you can marry Won, Kappa and the Gourmet. Of course

you still can

marry the other five bachelor in the town, no need to

worry.

4. In order to marry the bachelor, you have to experience

some heartevents (black, purple, blue and yellow). In the

blue heart event, the

bachelor will give you a special items (i think you

need to have this one

if you wanna marry that bachelor). BUT unlike in FoMT,

you can experience

all the heart events in the higher level. So don't worry

if you haven't

trigger some heart events when the bachelor reaches

orange or red heart,

you will get it eventually (need some specialrequirement, such as the

weather, season, and time).

5. There's also Rival's heart events. You will need to see

all the events if

you wanna see your rival marry one of the five bachelor.

So it's not

necessary to trigger the events (they will take your

boyfriend from

you! aarrgh!!), unless you have married with a

bachelor. By the way,

experience the rival heart events will give you 1

event point.

6. After you married with a bachelor, they will work (at

their work place)

from 9 a.m. and going home at some certain time (depends

on how long their

work time). Hello? don't expect them to staying at

home all day long,

they're the man Ok? gotta find money to feed you and

your child.

7. When you're pregnant, you still have to work on your

farm! geez...what's

wrong with this game? pregnant woman till the soil and

watering the plants?

isn't that too rough?

8. Now you have a 'farm degree' menu (check in in your

memo). It

contains shipment, fishing, animal, people,

cooking, building,

tools, letters, events and heroine. Don't ask me what

is it for, figure

it out yourself since this guide is a heart event

guide, not general

guide).

III. BACHELOR HEART EVENTS

==Even there's totally 8 bachelor you can woo in this game,

but only 5 of them

who have the proper heart event. They are: Cliff, Gray,

Doctor, Rick and Kai.

There's no clear heart event for the other two. But special

for Won, there's

Town. He left his

(really?). He is brown

maniac, his clothes are brown, his shoes are brown, his

hair is brown, and

even his eyes are brown! don't you feel that his appearance

is looks like

typical RPG's hero? or it's just my imagination?. He live

at the inn, and he

spend most of his time at church. At fall 14, Duke will

come to your house to

offer you a job at the winery, if you tell cliff about this

job then he will

work at the winery for the rest of his life (not going tochurch again?). But

if you don't tell him about the job, he will leave the town

at the second

year. Oh yeah, do you know that Manna actually hoping that

Cliff will marry

Aja someday =D, but unfortunately Aja never come back to

the town.

==Black Heart Event==

Requirement : Must be on the first yearDay : Tuesday and Thursday

You walk up to carter and he'll ask if u could talk to him

(cliff) because

he's a bit shy and doesn't try to make friends with people

on the town. You

will approach cliff and greet him. You have 2 options here:

Choose the second option to make him a bit relax. He will

thank for what you

say to him, it's make him feel better.

"Okay...phew...i feel better now...thank you"

If you pick the first option, he will feel a bit irritated

by you, so he'll

ask you to leave him alone.

"Ah...yeah...sorry, but can you ...leave me alone...?"

==Purple Heart Event==

Requirement : Already trigger the Black Heart Event

Day : * Monday and Wednesday - must on a rainy day

(before he works

at the winery)

At church Cliff and Carter are having a dinner together,

when they see you,

they'll greet you. Cliff ask you to join them if you have

time. The food will

be delivered by Ann (don't worry, ann won't show up in this

event), so Carter

ask you to clean up the place while he going to the

confessinal. Cliff sayshe'll do the cleaning alone and you don't have to help him

if you don't want

to. You have 2 options for this situation:

1. Thanks

2. I'll help!

The both of you will

He will ask you to

After cleaning up the church, the three of you will gather

to trigger this event you MUST walk directly straight from

your farm to aja

winery. There you'll see duke thanks Cliff for his hardworkand told Cliff to

take a break, but cliff refuse. Duke say that he and manna

is worried about

Cliff, they appreciate cliff's hardwork but he has to take

care himself. Cliff

reply he's just fine. That time, you'll enter the screen

and duke greet you.

Duke ask Cliff to take you to Mother's Hill (because it's a

beautuful day to

enjoy the view), Cliff is startled and try to refuse.

Anyway, duke manage tomake cliff do his request, so both of you go to Mother's

Hill for a date. At

Mother's Hill cliff will apologize for Duke, and he really

appreciate for what

you did to him (given him a job), he then ask if you like

your job on the

farm. You have 2 option:

Pick the first answer to make him happy. He say that he

also loves his new job

on the winery. After that he'll ask you to go back (he

worried about duke) but

before he went down, he give you a flower necklace.

you the necklace.

==Yellow Heart Event==

Requirement : Already trigger the Blue Heart Event

Day : Tuesday

Place : Inside Duke's House

You'll see Duke and manna talking about you and Cliff

(gossip for excatly).

Mannya says they shouldn't interfere with cliff's affair

and duke is mad

because of manna statement. Manna say she care about Cliff

but she doesn'twanna meddling in Cliff personal affair. You will enter the

screen and Duke

with manna will greet you. Duke wanna ask you something but

manna try to stop

him. Anyway he'll spit the the questions about Cliff bad

point. You have 2

option:

1. He thinks too much

2. Nothing

Pick the first answer to make Duke and manna glad. Theyhappy because you

understand cliff very well and it's important to know both

of our partner's

good and bad points. After they say that, cliff will walk

in. Duke say that

you invite cliff for a dinner at the inn (but you never say

it!!). Unable to

your house (late at night). Cliff is so happy and invite

Gray is saibara's grandson who just moved on to mineral

town (he originally

came from the big city). He hates his grandpa at first, but

as the game

proceed (raise the heart level) he will respect his grandpa

more. He's kinda a

rough guy, even to a girl like you (see the black heart

event for further

details), he also antisocial, that's why he doesn't have

many friends. He also

dislike people who always moved on (like kai?) but

strangely, he build a good

friendship with kai!! Looks like he's the only one guy who

likes kai. Actually

gray is my favourite bachelor in the game (he's cute! even

with that

attitude). he spends most of his time for working in the

blacksmith and in the

library (to read the book and to meet your rival!!!).


Requirement : None

Day : Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Time : 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.Place : At the Blacksmith

When you walk into the blacksmith, you will see Gray and

Saibara are arguing

about something. Seems like Gray mad at Saibara because he

thinks Saibara

never approves one of his work, and he said he ready to

quit. Gray then notice

you and start yelling at you to leave if you have no

business there. Hearing

Gray yell at you like that, Saibara then admonished Gray.Gray then realizes

his mistakes and apologize to you, but after that he start

blaming Saibara

(again?). Now you have 2 options to say to Gray:

1. It's called TRAINING

2. Just quit!

choose the first option if you want to raise Gray's heart

level. Looks like

something click in his head and somehow he is agree with

you.

"sorry for complaining so much..."

If you pick the second option, he will pissed at you and

saying that you don't

sound sincere.

"Sorry, but can you leave me alone now?"

** Ok, here's a little hint for you: if you don't want gray

to spend his time

in the library, soon after you experience the black heart

event DON'T go

inside the blacksmith again!!, because if you did that you

will trigger the

first rival heart event between Gray and Mary (and after

that Gray will start

visiting the library after work). So keep doing this until

gray reach the

purple heart (give him present when he's at the inn only).

After he reach the

purple heart level, it's safe for you to come to the

blacksmith again because

you won't trigger the first rival heart event, which means

that Gray will

never visit the Library ever! mwahaha!!! and mary is no

longer a threat foryou.

Enter the Inn and continue to the second floor, and youwill walk towards Gray

automaticly. He will apologize for his behavior before

is great for nothing blacksmith with a gloomy face, and

Choose the second option to raise his heart level. He's so

happy to hear your

reply (he sing?), he try to be a good guy (because he's

happy okay?) and

promise

to make you something.

"I'm not. I have a long way to go before i can surpass my

grandfather"

If you choose the second option, he will feel a little bit

disappointed

because he think he's just plain ordinary guy (not special

ones).

want (as long it's

working hours). As a serious guy, you'll rarely see him

smile (not like the

other guy), and he has difficulty to express his feelings.

When enter the clinic, you will automaticly walking towards

the Doctor. He

will notice you, but he doesn't know who you are. After he

After that small chit-

chat, he'll offer you to take a tonic (an experimental

ones!!), he says it's a

good tonic which can energize and recover fatigue at the

same time but he's

not sure about the taste. Anyway, you have 2 options:

1. No thanks

2. O...okay

Pick the second option to make him happy (you seldom see

this guy with a happy

face). It tastes bad anyway but he will appreciate you for

drinking his tonic

and he offer you one more, of course you'll refuse.

"It wasn't good? but it works right?"

If you choose the first option, he'll be disappointed (with

that cold face)

and he won't force you to drink the tonic. Hey...see the

bright side, you

don't have to taste that awful tonic right?

"A good medicine tastes bitter you know?"

==Purple Heart Event==Requirement : Already trigger the Black Heart Event

Time : 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.


When enter the clinic, you will automaticly walking towards

the Doctor. His

face suddenly looks enthusiastic when he sees you. He then

offer you a new

improvement medicine (Good?) which twice more effective

then the first onesand ask you to try it. You have 2 options:

1. Run!

2. What is it?

Choose the second options to make him smile (again). You'll

drink the medicine

and pass out. After you sober, he will apologize to you.

Elli then scolded him

not to give another his 'homemade-experimental-medicine' to

you, and he agree.

So don't be fret, after this he won't ask you to try his

medicine again.

If you choose the first options, you'll just run outside

the clinic and that's

all.

not the doctor but Elli. She will greet you at the counter

Pick the first option, then you'll go to see the doctor.

He's happy to see you

and willing to give you an item called Negative Ion. He

says it can help you

to relax and recover some fatigue.

"...You are all i can think of..."

If you pick the second option, Elli will upset and she will

lecture you a

little bit, plus you will not receive the special item fromthe doctor

(Negative Ion).

bestfriend (karen is your rival if you chase rick). He

spend most time in the

poultry farm and going to bar (inn) at night. He taken care

of his sick

mother, he actually miss his father and also hate him

because his father leave

his mother for a long time (to find a cure for lillia

disease), but somehow,

he never come back. I guess that's why he's so over

protective to Popuri, he

doesn't wanna lost one more his precious family member.

like egg or not, you have 2 options:

Popuri is a naive countryside girl. She looks cute and

innocent with that

face. Her brother, Rick, loves her so much (almost over-

protective). She's

visit the goddess pond every morning except sunday, maybe

she expect the

harvest goddess will show up and she'll ask her (the

harvest goddess) to cure

her mother illness. Her father hasn't home for a very long

time and i guess

she missed him as much as her mother does. She's

dangerously in love with kai,

she admire his freedom and his face of course (but i think

kai isn't thecutest guy). If she married to Kai, she'll leave the town

and only come back

in summer.

Place : BeachPopuri and kai will chat together. She compliment Kai for

his delicious and

well made dish. She'll ask kai to cook some great dish for

her sick mother

(she loves her mother so much isn't she? what a nice girl).

Kai accept that

request without any further questions.

Kai glad because popuri's mother (lillia) enjoys his meal

so much. Popuri will

thank him for keeping his promise and she also glad rick

wasn't present back

then (imagine what would happen if rick were there with

kai). BUT after saying

that, Rick suddenly show up. As usual he has useless

quarrel with kai (popuri

will backing up kai). At the end Rick takes Popuri back

home. Geez...what a

troublesome brother.

Popuri wonder why rick hates kai so much. kai will explain

that rick do that

because he REALLY-REALLY-REALLY cares about popuri and try

to protect her. The

he hasn't seen his

family for a few years because he dislike them. This way,

he can be everything

he wanna be, live on his own way. Popuri envy kai's freedom

so much.

Enter the house. Kai will come to popuri's house, he'll ask

permission to

bring popuri along with him moving to another town (travel

around). Rick

shocked and so-so mad while lillia only looks sad. As you

can guess, rick will

forbid kai to bring popuri, but lillia will approve that

request (imagine

how's rick face when hear this - i think he'll go insane).

Lillia allow kai to

bring popuri on one condition: Kai must make popuri happy

always, which means

he has to marry her. See? it's not kai who propose popuri,

but it's lillia who

propose kai for popuri.

**NOTE: One week (7 days) after the orange heart event,

your rival will marry

the bachelor at the church. You wanna get invited? then

fulfill the

requirement below:

@ Be a good friend of her

@ Don't overwork yourself the day before the wedding(you'll wake up late)

@ Must be on your farm house (not on your cottage or cabin)

So you can't do anything that day but to party until you

drunk.

If you're not a good friend of her, she won't invite you to

her wedding, but

you'll still able to attend her wedding (from 06.00 a.m. -

10.00 a.m.). Run to

the church and just enter (by force =D). Carter will greet

you and invite youto the wedding. You can accept or decline the offer. if you

accept, you'll

just drinking till the night. BUT if you refuse, you can

talk to everybody

inside the church even the to bride and groom.

Kappa is always available at mother's hill lake. if you

wanna summon him

you should throw a cucumber to the lake. And if you

wanna propose him,

just show your blue feather at the edge of the lake.

After you married with a bachelor, no need to giving him

presents in order to

have a child, just make sure that his affection for you is

high enough (10

hearts). Don't worry, it will come naturally since your

character is a female

(don't you think that the bachelor should give you presentsinstead?). You

will need one month to get pregnant, and if you already

pregnant, you'll need

another two month to deliver the baby. While you're

pregnant, you still be

able to work on the farm (that's weird). And you will only

deliver a baby

girl!! don't dare to expect a baby boy, it won't happen.
