KENTUCKY FRIED TRIO is the jazzy offshoot of the popular swing band Jordan Jive, comprising Chris Trotman, Mark Spence and Geoff Kearns who have been making music together since 2006. It is the only classic Hammond Trio between Sydney and Brisbane and covers many genres of jazz, including Swing, Latin, Bop and Jazz Rock.
Mark Spence on drums and vocals has a music degree from Georgia State University in the USA. He currently teaches and gigs in Port Macquarie.
Chris Trotman plays flute, clarinet and saxophone and studied jazz at the Sydney Conservatorium. He has a wealth of experience with stage shows and bands.
Geoff Kearns completes the trio with Hammond organ and vocals. He started as a drummer in South Africa before switching to the organ and is the founder of Jordan Jive and Kentucky Fried Trio.
