Common Excuses of Abusers of Domestic Violence

So far while circulating the petition that is intended to establish a much needed service for women and children of domestic violence in Malta, I have experienced the following excuses from the mouth of men and much to my disappointment, from the mouth of women too (who appear brainwashed).

Women lie about these things

Men feel it's their right

My response as follows:

...but she has a sharp tongue. (a) There is no excuse good enough for abuse; (b) men are quite capable of talking their way into getting government jobs/employment and especially when it comes to getting a girl into bed, but all of a sudden they lose their capability to effectively communicate when it comes to arguing with their wives and choose to resolve the issue with violence instead. Did they feel she needed discipline as though their wife has suddenly become their daughter? Or do they enjoy dominating an environment that is supposed to be equally shared, as per their wedding vows - a promise they made in front of God, which is broken with every strike? And why aren't they putting their strength up against bikers and kick boxers the minute an argument is lost against someone their size. Infidelity was the single biggest complaint on Saturday, over and above drugs and alcohol - it just goes to show how many men in this country have to justify their small penises! Infidelity has got nothing to do with the women and everything to do with greed, when one is never enough, it doesn't matter whether we are talking about material possessions or wives, greed is greed; and hatred on the other hand is another issue at play, there are men hating women (born of envy) and women hating each other - WAKE UP MALTA, THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I can’t tell you enough how many women have told me that the ‘other women’ who slept with the husband

enjoyed to idea of removing him from the family unit just to prove herself above the wife – arrogance fuelled by hate. In Australia we call these women whores, a fitting title for anyone with such shameful and disrespectful behaviors towards herself and her own kind – a prostitute without pay! If your husband is committing the crime of infidelity to justify his small penis, after investing the best years of your life on him, giving him children and years of domestic service (which not even his pay would cover) to make his sorry ass comfortable, then you have every right to sharpen your tongue because it's better than stabbing him in the heart, which is what he has done to you - he's not only lied in front of God promising to give you the rest of his life, to love and cherish... he has also betrayed your children too and if a sharp tongue is all you've got to give, then he gets off lightly. He should have his bank account and all his assets frozen for all the domestic violence he has subjected you to as a result of his selfish crimes and let his new whore support him - and if she thinks for one split second that he is not going to do it to her, she is a special kind of stupid and not someone a smart women should have time for.

...women lie about these things. (a) There are more men denying it (perpetrators of domestic violence) than women lying about being it – being the person on the receiving end. (b) …what would happen if we stopped the single mothers pension to ensure the very few cheating the system don't get away with it? Everyone else (which is the majority that are genuine) would go hungry and we would have children being raised on the streets, which would turn out to be a bigger epidemic than the current domestic violence figures in Malta; and what would happen to our future generation? (c ) women have complained to me about this by numbers on Saturday; that the biggest problem is that nobody believes them because by the time open their mouth there are no bruises to show for it and speaking up about something that is not cool and seen to be shameful takes time. To me this is a way for not putting the funds where it's needed by the people in charge of such things who by creating a practice of scanning complaints of domestic violence with a fine tooth comb is (not only very dangerous but) the very reason women cannot find the help they need in this country with their first attempt to break their circumstances of abuse, and therefore return to their assailants. (d) ...and I'd like to know who the hell would lie about something like this anyway, when in this country it's the most under reported issue affecting countless lives on a daily basis!

Men feel it's their right... (a) First of all, THERE IS NO EXCUSE GOOD ENOUGH FOR ABUSE!!! (b) secondly, we cannot let reference to traditions, culture and histories legitimize domestic violence (c ) thirdly, everyone knows the difference between right and wrong, you don't even need religion to tell you what that is; when a man abuses a women he knows it's wrong because he's very good at denying it to police who might THREATEN CHARGES AND MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS MAKING ENQUIRIES. If a man truly thought it was his right to throw his weight around, he would advertise his efforts without fear of consequences. (d) …there is no excuse good enough for abuse!

A man who hits a women is not a man, he is a coward a part of a group of followers who are generally unwell – REAL MEN

DO NOT HIT WOMEN, THEY GO FOR A DRIVE!

In addition to my brief conversation with a nurse this morning, I would like to say this to anyone who has informed members of the community not to sign something (the said petition) that is for community benefit, not for profit and long overdue, 'BRING IT ON, I WILL WIN... AND WHEN I DO IT WILL BE YOUR JOB ON THE LINE, NOT THEIRS'.
