    I am delighted to introduce you to our

    inaugural hard copy training directory for education professionals in both

    teaching and non-teaching roles. This new directory holds a considerable collection of our offering of courses and is designed

    to be your quick reference guide to the full suite of training programmes available to book via our Education Services Portal www.haveringeducationservices.co.uk.

    It will provide you with relevant CPD opportunities suitable for your specific role or responsibilities to enable you maintain the highest possible standard that is expected under the revised Ofsted

    Inspection Framework and specifically for teaching staff, in relation to the Teacher Standards issued by the Department for Education.

    As summed up in our strapline, Havering Education Traded Services over-riding focus is to improve outcomes for children and young people through the provision of high quality continuous professional development training for staff working with them. To achieve this, we have a large team of teaching practitioners, educational professionals and

    support staff who are fully committed to sharing their experience, expertise and best practices.

    Havering Education Services is the unified brand representing the London Borough of Haverings education traded services. Our service teams have an established history of providing highly valued and quality services to the education sector and our current portfolio comprises 25 service departments spread across the Councils directorates providing expertise in areas such as Leadership and Governance, School Improvement and Curriculum, Facilities, Technical and Asset Management, Administration and Finance, Pupil and Staff Wellbeing. We have a strong customer base both in Havering and outside Havering with more than 100 non Havering establishments currently buying support services and

    training from our providers.

    We are determined to strive to become your partner of choice for quality and innovative learning and development solutions. As a first step, we have significantly updated our self-help website (www.haveringeducationservices.co.uk) to give you an efficient booking experience and to enable your booking to be easily completed from the comfort

    of your own home or education setting. Looking into the future, we are exploring the development of additional innovative models of training delivery such as e-learning and mobile learning, as

    well as offering enhanced integrated learning solutions that will best utilise the diversified skill sets and expertise available from our teams to meet your

    current and future needs.
