4 FamConnector
• Activity Based Intergenerational Interactions
• Objective: Build system that allow online inter-generational interactions between
older adults (i.e. grandparents) and young children (i.e. their grandchildren, aged 3-9) and other geographically-distant family members.
• 2010-2013
• AAL-2009-2• 5 Partners
Human Computer Interaction & Usability Unit http://icts.sbg.ac.at
4 FamConnector
• HCI &Usability Unit Activities
Work package Leader of the end user assessment and evaluation
Responsible for a user-centered design process• Investigating user requirements together with the two end user
organizations
• Definition of next activities to be implemented in the prototype
• Support the interface design for the activities
• Iterative evaluation of the activity concepts and developed prototype regarding usability, user experience and acceptance
Human Computer Interaction & Usability Unit http://icts.sbg.ac.at
4 CVN
• Connected Vitality, the Personal Telepresence Network
• Objective: Build a system to ensure that elderly are enabled to choose lifestyle
and activities as well as levels of social interaction according to their individual needs and abilities.
• 2010-2013
• AAL-2009-2• 9 Partners
Human Computer Interaction & Usability Unit http://icts.sbg.ac.at
4 CVN
• HCI &Usability Unit Activities
Work package Leader of the user oriented CVN network requirements, the continues evaluating & final evaluation and the conducting lab tests to validate CVN network premises
Responsible for a user-centered design process• Investigating user requirements together with the four end user
organizations
• Definition of program formats to be implemented in the prototype
• Iterative evaluation of the activity concepts and developed prototype regarding usability, user experience and acceptance
Supporting the field studies together with the end users
