Introduction Discover how HCL helped a Finland-based minerals processing and flow control technology and services supplier for mining, aggregates and O&G industry, improve and consolidate its technology stack. Business Challenges The customer predominantly operates in the Europe market to secure its business contracts. However, it's operations are spread globally over 50 countries with 16000 employees Difficult to manage the existing single ORG salesforce implementation which includes multiple custom Force.com applications along with SFA, service management, Remedyforce, ServiceMax, FinancialForce etc. Changes requested by multiple business units done by different teams using different applications resulting in deviation from salesforce best practices affecting the maintenance of overall ORG architecture Our Solution HCL augmented the existing implementation team to provide a unified team to carry out the changes to the existing Salesforce platform to meet the current and future needs of customer. We implemented GDPR solution in the Valves org which is operating out of multiple geographies catering to European nationals, so as to ensure privacy & added security. We are also helping with the implementation of similar solution in the Minerals org.
