1 INTRODUCTION

A Road Traffic Accident (RTA) can be defined as, ’An incident thatoccurs on a way or street open to public traffic; resulting in one ormore persons being injured or killed, where one or more movingvehicle is involved. Thus RTA is a smashing amongst vehicles; be-tween vehicles and voyager; between vehicles and invertebrates; orbetween vehicles and natural or artificial obstacles.’ Road traffic ac-cidents are a human tragedy. They involve heavy human writhe andsocio economic bottom line in terms of premature deaths, damages, loss of productivity, etc. [1]According to statistics serious head in-juries can happen even in low speeds. Ninety five percent of headinjury cases are due to road accidents, about 82 percent are young-sters in the age group of 18 to 40. At least two young men usingtwo wheelers die every five minutes in India due to head injury. In2016, a total of 4,90,885 road accidents and injuries were reportedby all States/UTs .The proportion of road accidents in the totalroad accidents has consistently increased since 2002 from 18.1 to24.4 % in 2011. The hard-nosed road accidents volumed in perspec-tive of persons killed per 100 accidents has also increased from 20.8in 2002 to 28.6 in 2011. For a young Indian chance of being killedor disabled by road traffic injury is higher are provided. than Hu-man Immunodeficiency Virus, heart stroke or breast cancer. Headinjuries have acquired the status of a public health problem. Thesescenarios grabbed my interest over this paper in order to ensuresafe bike riding.

With whooping proportion of high boosted bikes being afloat inIndia, teaching riders about the need to follow traffic regulations,

riding within the speed limits as well as wearing proper headgear isthe need of the hour. With great power comes great sound. A greatline, which is right, especially when you are driving a very robustvehicle on public roads. With more and more powerful cars andbikes being launched in India, the number of high speed crashesare also on the ascend. But this does not mean that we should stopsuch vehicles. In fact, it is up to us to use them sensibly. Most ofthe time, people blame quality of the vehicles for accidents. Butthe truth is, the driver / rider is at fault most of the time. If notyou, then the person you crash with. Most of the time it is ourerror. Read on to find out about some of the recent high-poweredcrashes reported.

The existing model is using Microcontroller and facing difficultywith i/o connections. It includes features like sensing alcohol con-tent, location of bike rider, mp3 player etc.

2 OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

To design the circuit that can improve the safety of rider/driver.To develop a Head gear for complete rider. To study and under-stand the concept of RF Transmitter and RF Receiver circuit inimplementing the project.

4 FLOW CHART AND REPRESEN-

TATION

The initial step of project is it initializes all the port and next step isAccident Detection using vibration sensor if No crash then it will goto third step. Third step is listening to RF Module Continuouslyfor Data and Interprets Data using if conditions. Fourth step ischeck whether helmet is wear or not. If Helmet not wore thendisplay Message Caution: Please wear the helmet. Next step ischeck the condition of drunk if rider is drunk display message ”Youare alcoholic” and then send the message to stored number withLocation.. The sixth step, if accident detected, stop everythingand send message location. The seventh step, if rider closes his/hereyes the IR sensor senses it and gives a buzzer.

powerful external USB devices and now comes with inbuilt wirelessand Bluetooth connectivity. To take full leverage of the emendedpower management on the Raspberry Pi 3 and provide backing foreven more powerful devices on the USB ports, a 2.5A adapter is re-quired. Made in the U.K. supplied under license by RS components.1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core ARMv8 CPU, 1 GB RAM 802.11n wire-less LAN, 10/100Mbps lan speed Bluetooth 4.1, Bluetooth lowenergy 4 USB ports, 40 GPIO pins, full HDMI port, combined3.5mm audio jack and composite video Camera interface (CSI),Display interface (DSI), Micro SD card slot (now push-pull ratherthan push-push).

B. Light Dependent Resistor Firstly, it is a resistor whichhas a resistance that changes depending on the light intensity. Thisis high value resistance semiconductor and useful in many electroniccircuits.

C.EYE BLINK SENSOR Blink sensor is IR based. Thevariation across the eye will change as per eye blink and normallyour eye blinks 120 times per minute. [3] If the eye is closed meansthe output is True otherwise output is False. This is to know therider is attentive or not. This output is given to logical circuit andindicate the buzzer.

D.ALCOHOL SENSOR Alcohol Sensor detects ethanol con-tent and send signal to Arduino. It is MQ3 semiconductor alcoholsensor. It has good sensitivity and fast response to alcohol. It issuitable for making Breathalyzer. TTL output valid signal is low

(0). This Grove implements all the necessary circuitry for MQ3 likepower conditioning and heater power supply. This sensor outputsa voltage inversely proportional to the alcohol amount in air.

E.PIEZO VIBRATION SENSOR The vibration sensorwith desirable range frequency is fixed in the vehicle. It operates atthe frequency of 315MHZ in case of vehicle collide with another ve-hicle or to any other obstacle the vibration sensor finds whether thefrequency generated due to vibration is within the limit or not. If itis greater it reports as accident and activates the auto-dialer. Meanwhile the relay opens and turn OFF ignition, then send message torelatives.

F.THIRD EYE The main difficulty with motorcycles is thatthe mirrors just do not work very well. You have got a very smallreflected image and, because of the position of the mirrors, mostlyyou are seeing your elbows. We fix a small mirror into motorcyclehelmets. An adjustable arm lets riders place it just below or abovetheir eye, in their peripheral vision. A back-facing mirror is placedfor vivid vision .Once looking at the display gives the rider a wideview of the road rear of him. Although the screen is just next to theusers face, optics make the eye into focusing at a more comfortabledistance of around 2.5m. The screen is next to the users face, butthe optics allow the eye to focus at an ease distance.

GSM controls via AT commands. It uses a variation oftime division multiple access (TDMA).With a small configurationof 40mm x 33mm x 2.85 mm, SIM900 can fit almost all the spacerequirement in your application, such as Smart phone, PDA phoneand other mobile device.

H.LCD DISPLAY LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen isan electronic display device and suits a versatile range of applica-tions. A 16x2 LCD display is very primary module and is verycommonly used in different devices and circuits. These devicesare choosen over seven segments and other multi segment LightEmitting Diodes. Like light-emitting diode (LED) and gas-plasmatechnologies, LCDs allow show to be much thinner than cathoderay tube (CRT) technology. The LCDs are very cheap and easilyprogrammable have no limitation of displaying alphabetical, special& alphanumeric characters. A 16x2 LCD means it can display 16characters per row and there are 2 such rows.
