THE POSITIONWe invite applications from passionate, dedicated and suitably experienced teachers of Languages Other Than English to lead our outstanding team of LOTE teachers. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the new VCE LOTE study design, as well as having a proven record of helping students to achieve excellent VCE results. They will be able to teach German, French or Latin across Years 7 to 12.
This position is an academic leadership role with responsibility for building upon the already impressive profile of the School’s LOTE faculty and programs, as well as driving the professional development programs and initiatives for all LOTE staff. Experience teaching GCSE or IGCSE would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the School’s extensive cocurricular and sporting program and to demonstrate a commitment to the service of others. An empathy with the values and ethos of an independent Anglican school is highly desirable.
