    portunity to learn about the financial aid process and

    services available to support with their college appli-

    cations.

    2/26: Adult Continuing Education Workshop

    6pm-8pm: It's never to late to obtain your Degree.

    Information will be provide on Adult College pro-

    grams and financial resources' will be shared with you.

    Series will be Facilitated by Jean Weiseman an organizer

    and Writer, who has worked in CUNY schools for over 20

    years as a financial Aid counselor.

    1pm-5pm: Honoring Yemaya the Goddess of MotherWater! Welcome to our 1st Emotional Release Heal-

    ing Circle for our Womyn and LGBTQ community

    of color. Celebrating Life! Bring or Wear white, Fruit,

    water, flowers, candles for our community Alter.

    Suggested Donation $25 includes Circle and a

    light Lunch (no one will be turned away)

    Standing in Our Power (SiOP)

    is an intergenerational net-

    work of Women of Color

    leaders that seeks to develop

    leadership models that can

    transform society as a

    whole. Inclusive and collec-

    tive in nature, SiOP will

    amplify the voices and per-

    spectives of Women of

    Color, and establish leader-

    ship frameworks rooted in our vision, values, experi-

    ence, and cultural assets. SiOP is a program of Spirit

    in Action, a national movement building organization

    that works to create a positive future grounded in the

    values of equality, peace and justice for all.

    Retumba!is a multi-ethnic all-female music and danceensemble founded in March 1981 in celebration of Women's

    History month. Interweaving traditional rhythms, beauti-

    ful ancient melodies, with its very own unique interpreta-

    tion.

    ing a Grassroots Healing Trauma and Crisis Response Team

    On the Front Lines a Spiritual Activist Collective, that

    will provide healing circles, holistic relief efforts, healing

    hubs, self sustainable support groups & individual counsel-

    ing, alternative health care, and rebuilding practices.

    and scarcity mentality that women of colorhave been subjected to, oppressed with and

    internalized. Casa is excited to be opening itshealing space for womens individual and col-lective economic, mental, emotional and spiri-

    tual sustainability.We are looking forward to collaborating with

    you to create a prosperous and abundantorganization!
