Stud- ies have shown that people who con- sume greater amounts of magnesium through supplementation, hard water, or diet are less prone to cardiovascular disease and sudden death than those with a lower magnesium intake. This effect coincides with mag- nesium’s large role in cardiovascular health, as a high concentration of the magnesium found in the body resides in the heart. Specifically, research has found that low blood levels of magne- sium promote atherosclerosis, a hard- ening of the arteries. Lower magnesium levels may also raise blood pressure or lead to arrhythmias. Magnesium may even improve heart health after a car - diovascular event; some studies have noted improved survival after a heart attack in patients given magnesium supplements. Its benefits extend beyond heart health, too. Magnesium supports the body’s cellular and chemical functions by regulating cal- cium. In addition to its high concentration in the heart, magnesium is also found in large quantities in the bones and teeth and in brain tissue. Magnesium has been used for asthma, as it helps relax the lung muscles that open the airways for easier breathing and has gained interest in relation to chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), as many CFS patients have low blood magnesium levels and magnesium may improve energy levels. Magnesium is also important in controlling blood sugar levels, as it plays a central role in the secretion and action of insulin. It can improve insulin response and reaction. It is also being studied for its positive effect on fibro- myalgia, migraine and tension head- aches, osteoporosis, and premenstrual syndrome. How much of an impact can magne-sium make on your well-being? Stud-ies have shown that people who con-sume greater amounts of magnesium through supplementation, hard water, or diet are less prone to cardiovascular disease and sudden death than those with a lower magnesium intake.

This effect coincides with mag-nesium’s large role in cardiovascular health, as a high concentration of the magnesium found in the body resides in the heart. Its benefits extend beyond heart health, too. Magnesium supports the

body’s cellular and chemical functions by regulating cal-cium.

Mag-nificence™ helping with teen’s eczema and pain

Shared by AIM Director Melissa Dobney from Adrian, Oregon

My daughter Cara (age 14) has bad eczema on her arm. It’s hard to tell kids to use a product that will sting slightly, even though the product will help. Three weeks ago, her eczema flared up. She was desperate for relief, so she started using the Mag-nificence gel. Her skin is so much better!

Now, Cara is willing to use Mag-nificence all on her own. We don’t have to twist her arm about it. She’s improving.

Last night, her legs were hurting because she’s going through a growth spurt. We thought, if magnesium helps our cells, why not use it for her leg pain? Before I went to bed, she had asked for ibuprofen for the pain, and when I got up in the morning, the bottle was still there sitting on the counter, untouched, right where I left it. Mag-nificence worked.

Dr. C. Norman Shealy, a holistic medical doctor, neurosurgeon, psy-chologist, and one of the leading ex-perts in pain management, believes the key to good health lies in good nutri-tion, exercise, and stress management. The connection between stress and magnesium is an area that Dr. Shealy researched while working with Cell Wellness Restorer.

“All illness is stress-induced,” Dr. Shealy said. “And what I found is that a magnesium deficiency and, subse-quent to that, low levels of the hor-mone DHEA, are the major physiologi-cal principles of stress-induced illness. So, these two substances, the mineral magnesium and the hormone DHEA, are integral in safeguarding our health.

“A lack of these could well be the source of disease.”

Muscle pain, and childhood warts gone

Incredible results with AIM BarleyLife

Shared by Aden and MaryAnn Troyer, Directors from Fredericksburg, Ohio

My neck muscles used to be tight and painful. It was so bad that I couldn’t walk upright when I got up in the morning. Spending hundreds of dol-lars on chiropractors, biocranial, and massage did relieve the tightness, but no cure. I was taking AIM products for

energy, but then I also took AIM Herbal Fiberblend®,

AIM Para 90®, and AIM Herbal Release® to-gether twice a day for three months. Fi-nally, I got

Shared by John Schlimmer, Group Builder from Gilbert, Arizona When I was in my early thirties, I

had two discs that were badly deterio-rating. Because of lower back pain, for the next twenty-five years, I was seeing a chiropractor at least once a month.

At age fifty-five, I started taking AIM BarleyLife®. I started with one capsule a day and got a terrible headache. I slowly worked my way up to twelve capsules a day.

After about six months, I woke up one day, and realized that my back wasn’t bothering me. I didn’t have leg pain, and the Bar-

relief. Good health is a blessing, so thanks to AIM for the good products.

Our seven-year-old boy, Marty, had many warts on his hands. He used to count them and thought he had around thirty. When he started school, this was rather em-barrassing, so we started giving him AIMega® twice a day. In a week or two, the warts started getting smaller until they disap-peared. We had one hap-py little boy. Thank you.Testimonials should not be con strued as repre-senting results every-body can achieve.

leyLife had chased out the arthritis in both my hands and fingers. I had some pretty incredible results.

I no longer have to visit the chiro-practor every month. Now, the only reason I go is for a tune up.

Sometimes when I overeat—which is too often—I pop three Bar-leyLife capsules. It’s great for helping settle down the stom-

ach. It sure does help me sleep better.Testimonials should not be con strued as representing re-sults every body can achieve.

Supplements … natural or synthetic? When considering supplements—vitamins, minerals, or other

nutritive products—one of the first questions you should ask is: Are they synthetic or natural? Join Keith Duff, AIM Regional Meeting and Training Director, as he discusses why synthetic supplementation may be of little use to your body and possi-

bly do more harm than good, and some of the benefits you can expect to get from using AIM’s natural whole food concentrates and supple-ments. One-hour class.466.041 — Tuesday, April 23, 2013, 11:00 a.m. MT

1/4 cup Grade B maple syrup

2 large organic eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup AIM whole-grain all-purpose gluten-free flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. RealSalt, or less if you use salted sunflower seeds

1 tsp. guar gum or xanthan gum

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place all ingredients together in the large bowl of a stand mixer. In the event that you have no stand mixer, whisk the eggs, add the rest of the ingredients to a large bowl, and hand it to a strong man or helpful child.

2. Mix on medium speed until ingredients are well incorporated. Squeeze into balls of dough. Place them on a parchment-lined cookie sheet, and flatten slightly to make about a 2-inch cookie. Cookies will not spread appreciably. If the dogh will not stick together, add a little more peanut butter.

3. Bake 12-14 minutes until cookies are set, but still soft. Remove from oven and let cool on the cookie sheet set on a cooling rack. Makes about 2 dozen cookies, depending on size.

Enjoy! They are relatively guilt-free. Remember to reward your helper. Store in a tin or two without stacking. They keep well if the tight cover of the tins can keep out incorrigible cookie eaters.
