Primetime Buddies in action• Tess had trouble learning a routine and felt everyone was

looking at her, she enjoyed the class but was not confident.  The Buddy offered encouragement and reassurance.  Tess is still attending.

• Christine (a deaf lady) wanted to try zumba gold but was not sure she would be able to manage.  A Buddy offered to attend with her.  Christine is still attending the class.

• Gladys is registered blind and staff arranged for her to be met by a Buddy. Help was offered and new classes were tried.  Gladys now attends regularly.

• Lilian has a son with Alzheimer’s and was looking for ‘company and a life’.  She was met by a Buddy on her visit, attended a class and the next day found herself on an outing to Brighton with our Primetimers.  Feedback “I can’t believe the friendly welcome I’ve received, I was meant to come in today wasn’t I”
