Dear friends and family,

When we first started this effort in 2005, nobody really knew if we would make it

to see five years of successful fundraising and awareness! Here we are in our 5th

year and it has been one amazing journey. We cannot thank you enough for join-

ing us in our effort to try and ensure brighter tomorrows for the many families that

are affected by congenital heart defects. Since Chloe’s diagnosis in 2004, we have

met some beautiful heart families...We’ve watched sadly as others have lost the battle

and we have rooted for those that continue to survive. We’ve met amazing medical

professionals that dedicate themselves to the treatment of these heart defects as they

care for these precious children. And, we have been blessed with amazing support

that sometimes comes from the unlikeliest of places. We hope that one day even

more children will survive these defects and their families will have the priceless gift of

watching their children thrive and enjoy life. The current statistics that show

CHDs are the most common and most fatal of all birth defects tell us that it’s time

to join together and make a difference.

This yearly event has only been made possible with the support of our friends,

family, fellow heart families, supporters and the generous sponsors who have

responded to our request for help in this effort. Again this year, we had our

“Angels on Earth” that helped tremendously with the largest total donation we

have received to date. As we said last year, it’s safe to say that this year’s event is

sponsored mostly by these very special Angels.

It’s been five years since you entered our lives and introduced us to a world that we never knew existed. You have brought so many people together and your spirit helps us to continue the fight. We miss you with every breath we take, every hour of every day.

The silent auction is where we raise the majority of the funds at each event. Please re-member that this is a charity auction and in the event of a bid war, we will have a “bid off” at auction close, with each person writing down their highest bid and handing it over to the silent auction worker.
