HYDROSTATIC TRAVEL DRIVE –EFFICIENT PERFORMANCEHigh work performance with low fuel consumption:The load-limit-controlled VarioPower hydrostatic travel driveenhances mobility during use – easy, fast and economical.

The driver always gets maximum torque formaximum transverse force.

Brake wear is reduced because the wheeled loaderis hydrostatically braked.

The machine travels with optimum traction froma standstill up to 40 kph without shifting.

At high speed, a travel motor is disengaged,which in turn lowers fuel consumption.

Two travel motors ensure powerful starts and morepower for difficult work. Travel speed and transverseforce adapt automatically to the site demands.

HIGH PERFORMANCELOADING TECHNOLOGYThe Terex SP loading kinematics combine the force ofthe Z-kinematics with the advantages of P-kinematics.

PUREPOWER

THE HYDRAULICSThe Terex SP load kinematics are ideally supplementedby load-sensing high-pressure hydraulics. Steering andworking movements are smooth and easy thanks tohydraulic pilot control. All loading functions can becontrolled simultaneously with pressure limiting valvespreventing the system from being overloaded.With thermostatic control, the hydraulic fluid warmsup quickly, helping avoid wear from cold oil.

UNDER THE HOODThe very fuel efficient four and six cylinder engines offer ahigh number of loading cycles per tank. The constant powerthroughout the speed range from 1,400 to 2,200 rpm yieldshigh torque when starting out and maintains sufficientreserves if operation becomes more difficult.The transversally installed engine acts as a counterweight,increasing stability allowing for higher tipping loads.The lighter overall design reduces the fuel consumption.The compact design allows the driver to manoeuvre withease. With the wide-opening one-piece hood, all enginecomponents are easily accessible for routine maintenanceand servicing.

UNIQUE COOLING SYSTEMThe hydrostatic, temperature-controlled fan drive operatesonly when required, reducing fuel consumption and noiselevels. The air intake innovatively located behind the cabtakes in less contaminates thereby reducing cleaning andmaintenance requirements.

INCHING DEVICEEngine power is diverted from the travel hydraulics intothe working hydraulics, allowing for optimised productivityand accurate movement.

SMOOTH, EFFECTIVE BRAKINGReduced wear, multi-disc brake running in the oil bath withlong service life. The brakes are integrated in the axles andthereby protected from damage and dirt. The hydraulicallypowered 2-circuit brake system offers the highestpossible safety.

EASE OF OPERATION

POWERFULAND PRECISEONE OPERATING LEVER –ALL FUNCTIONSAll travelling and work movements of the wheeled loader areprecisely controlled with the multi-function joystick, allowingthe left hand to remain on the steering wheel. With the righthand, the driver controls the following functions:

Operation of the loading hydraulics

Operation of the additional control circuit

Floating position

Switching the direction of travel from forwardto reverse

OPTIMUM DELIVERYIn all steering movements, the hydraulic power adaptsto the exact requirement thanks to the load sensinghydraulic system with variable LUDV flow rate (load-independent flow distribution).

SELF-LOCKING DIFFERENTIALThe automatic self-locking differential supplies optimumpower to the wheels for increased traction in difficult andshifting terrain allowing the operator to concentrate fullyon the job.

STEERINGThe central articulated steering with extreme steering anglelock provides operators with complete control in thenarrowest sites. With the rear axle suspension andarticulated steering operators enjoy excellent off-roadmobility and driver comfort.

VERSA STEEROperators can select Versa-Steer mode when working inapplications that require numerous steering movements.This causes the steering wheel to behave like a joystick.Small movements equate to full wheel lock thereby

reducing operator effort and increasing productivity.

HIGHERFURTHERThe Terex loader arm lift mechanism makes all thedifference: high volume performance, fast workcycles, precise operation and enormous powerdevelopment in all work movements.

With optional extensions, you can attain evenmore impressive lifting heights while significantlyexpanding the action radius.

ROBUST CONSTRUCTIONThe 3-point suspension of the bucket consists of 80 mmbucket hinge pins. To protect material while working, thebucket anchor points are located directly on the liftingframe. Sealed bearing points on the lifting frame/bucketmake for increased service life.

MAXIMUM DUMP HEIGHTExtended lifting frames are available as an optionin a 0.65 and 1.25 meter size.

USE WITH PALLET FORKThe Terex lift mechanism is perfectly suited for use withpallet fork thanks to 100% parallel guidance. Dependingon the model, up to 3.94 m stacking height and cargo loadsof up to 9 tonnes can be transported.
