Click on existing users and select Student log in.

The first time they log in they will need to type in “The Purbeck School”.

Then enter their name and date of birth.

They will then need to choose a password.

Once logged in the home screen will either show any tasks they have not attempted or the library if there are no

current tasks.

Tasks disappear from the task list when you get 100% or their teacher removes it. The due date and time are clearly

shown.

Selecting My scores shows the best score achieved on a task, how many times the video has been watched, how long

they have been working on the task, comments they have sent, feedback they have received and when they

completed the task.

They do not have to be set a task to practice a skill. Tasks are searchable.

When a task is selected they can choose to watch the video first or go straight to the quiz.

The on screen keyboard needs to be used to add mathematical symbols. It can be turned on and off on the right hand

side. Students should only skip questions if they need to get to the end of the task before seeking help. If the video is

not sufficient help, students are encouraged to attend a help session. They run every lunchtime in M13 or homework

club after school in the LRC.

If they get a question wrong they can send a comment to their teacher if they wish to.

If they forget their password they should click on the “Forgotten your password?” link. They should then either email

their teacher to ask for their password to be reset or come to M13 at lunchtime to have it reset.
