1. WHAT IS THE HELIUM NETWORK?

Helium was founded in 2013 by Shawn Fanning, Amir Haleem, and Sean Carey, with amission to make it easier to build connected devices. The Helium network is a wide-area wireless networking system, a blockchain, and a protocol token.

2. WHO WILL OWN THE DEVICE?

Bonvera is partnering with multiple companies for the devices, and they are using us(Bonvera) as their preferred distribution partner. If a Bonvera entrepreneur is approved to have a unit, they will get a contract to sign, and the unit will be shipped to their home. The company that Bonvera is partnering with, owns the device.

3. WILL I HAVE TO RETURN THIS DEVICE?

Since the device is owned by another company, they do reserve the right to request thedevice to be returned. Some examples of reasons they could request the device backinclude but are not limited to: the device is not plugged in, being used properly, or if it is not earning tokens on the network. However, if the device is properly installed and providing valuable utility for the local area, earning money for the company and the homeowner they will want to keep that device plugged in and earning money for all parties.

4. WILL I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?

Yes! The company that is lending you this device for no charge will ask you to sign a contract stating the basic terms and conditions of the arrangement. It basically says they own thedevice and reserve the right to ask for it to be returned if it is not used properly. Thehomeowner is agreeing to keep the device plugged in and operational so this unit can earn HNT for the utility it is providing.

5. WHAT WILL THE HOMEOWNER DO WITH IT?

The homeowner needs to plug it in and follow the instructions to set it up. Which is as simple as setting up your Netflix or Apple TV account. Once you have completed this, you can let the device live in the spot in which you set it up (without moving it).

6. HOW MUCH ELECTRICITY DOES A BOX USE?

This depends on how much data is flowing through the system. On average, it is estimated that it will use between $7.00 and $20.00 of energy per year. Which is less than using an LED light bulb.

7. HOW MUCH BANDWITH DOES A BOX USE?

The device on average uses about 20GB per month. This is the same as streaming about three movies on Netflix.

8. WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS TO RECEIVE A HELIUM MINER?

To receive a free Helium Miner, you must be a Bonvera entrepreneur and in goodstanding. The reason these companies are making Bonvera their preferred distributionpartner is because of the trusted network of entrepreneurs, our education system, and the customer service Bonvera will provide. This will ensure these units are deployed and used properly. To receive this training a Bonvera entrepreneur must attend a National Training Event (NTE) to learn all the necessary details regarding the use of the devices.

9. IS A NTE TICKET REQUIRED TO BE PUT ON THE LIST?

No! The goal overtime is to provide all members of the Bonvera community a unit. However those who have an NTE ticket are at the top of the list and if you want to move to the front of the line just go MVP.

10. WILL THE BOX BE HANDED OUT AT THE NTE OR WILL IT BE SHIPPED DIRECTLY TO ME?

The device will be shipped to your house after the requirements have been met and your address has been approved. There is also a shipping and handling fee that you will beresponsible for.

11. WHAT IS THE HELIUM BLOCKCHAIN?

Helium Systems is an American company founded in 2013 to build the world’s first peer-to-peer LoRaWAN wireless IoT network, “The People’s Network”. This is also the first global, distributed network of hotspots that provides public, long-range and low-power wirelesscoverage for LoRaWAN-enabled IoT sensors and devices. Helium claims to have over 100,000 helium hotspots sold in 3,600+ cities to date.

With the introduction of its blockchain, the Helium Network decentralizes IoT coverage, resulting in an open IoT wireless network able to connect multiple LoRa-enabled IoTsensors & devices and to combine various LoRaWAN gateways, anywhere in the world, in acost-efficient way.

“In typical LoRaWAN networks, a central or regional LNS (LoRaWAN Network Server) ismanaged by a single entity. Helium’s design for a decentralized network, however, means not only do we want gateways to be independently owned and operated, but we want to enable the independent operation of the LNS. Without this, access to the network wouldrequire permission from a single central entity, the LNS operator of the network.”

FAQ’S ABOUT HELIUM CRYPTO MINING

3

“Therefore, we want to enable the multi-tenancy of LNS’s on the same public LoRaWANnetwork. Achieving this distinguishes Helium’s LoRaWAN network from any other: publicwireless infrastructure is now compatible with privately run network servers.”

This is the NEW WIRELESS ECONOMY! The People’s Network creates an entirely wirelesseconomy that flips the traditional telecom model of building wireless infrastructure on its head. Using a burn and mint equilibrium token model, The People’s Network utilizes twounits of exchange: HNT and Data Credits.

12. WHAT ARE DATA CREDITS?

Data Credits are used by devices to send data on the network and for blockchaintransaction fees. Data Credits are created by burning HNT, are non-exchangeable,and are tied to a single user.

13. WHAT’S THE VALUE OF HNT?

You can find information on the price of Helium Network Token (HNT) on marketplaces.Example: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/helium/

14. WHAT IS LONGFI™ TECHNOLOGY?

Helium conceived the LongFi™ technology that is the combination of LoRaWAN wirelessprotocol and Helium blockchain. Helium LongFi™ technology benefits from all characteristics and advantages of LoRa network while adding the capacity for gateways owners to earn Helium cryptocurrency (HNT for Helium Network Token) in the process (mining). HeliumLongFi™ also delivers roaming capabilities and supports micropayment transactions socustomers only pay based on network usage without needing to deploy gateways or network servers. The Helium LongFi™ technology is embedded on compatible LoRaWAN gateway to make a Helium Network Hotspot. Helium first released the technology as open source, for third-party manufacturers to build compatible hotspots. The use of thetechnology was then restrained for approved vendors through the HIP19 certification.

15. WHAT IS A HELIUM HOTSPOT?

Targeting low-power sensors and devices, the Helium Network is powered by compati-ble Hotspots. A Hotspot is the combination of the Helium Blockchain and the LoRaWAN packet routing software on a single, compact and compatible LoRaWAN gateway. This enables customers to easily participate in the deployment of Helium coverage and use the open LoRa-based wireless IoT networks.

16. WHAT IS A NETWORK TOKEN HNT?

Helium Network Token (HNT) is the cryptocurrency that is mined by the hotspots duringits wireless IoT network operations. When connected to a nearby hotspot, a ‘proof ofcoverage’ is delivered that validates LoRa gateway real availability, as well as its related coverage. This confirmation simultaneously triggers the generation of Helium’s nativecryptocurrency, Helium Network Token (HNT), using the gateway-embedded miner, thusrewarding Helium Network participants and granting coverage for hundreds of squaremiles throughout the community. Helium proposes a wireless economy with two units ofexchange: HNT (Helium Network Token) & Data Credits (to connect to and use thecommunity open wireless IoT network).

17. HOW DO I EARN HELIUM (HNT)?

Hotspots’ miners earn HNT when LoRa-enabled IoT devices connect and for validat-ing wireless coverage delivered by peers’ LoRaWAN gateways. Using the system called ‘proof-of-coverage’, Helium Compatible LoRaWAN gateways mine more HNT when they are in the range of other Helium compatible LoRa gateways but need to be at least 300 meters apart.

Hotspots earn HNT for building and securing network infrastructure and transferring data. The amount of HNT distributed to hotspots depends on the type of “work” they perform based on the value to the network. This validation of network contribution is accomplished by a new work algorithm called “proof-of-coverage” (PoC).

To participate in PoC, hotspots receive instructions (or challenges) to transmit payloads to any nearby hotspots to witness and verify. These single-hop challenges are also known as ‘beacons’. Hotspots without neighbors earn less as they can only issue challenges and are unable to have their beacons verified. After the first year, distribution amounts will adjust.

FAQ’S ABOUT HELIUM CRYPTO MINING

PROOF-OF-COVERAGE

Hotspots on the network are randomly and automatically assigned Proof-of-Coverage

tests to complete. Passing and witnessing tests earns HNT.

RELAY DEVICE DATA

Hotspots earn HNT fortransferring device data over the network. The more device data a hotspot transfers, the

more it earns.

CONSENSUS GROUPS

Trusted hotspots are randomlyelected to Consensus Groups,

earning HNT by validatingtransactions and addingblocks to the blockchain.

18. HOW IS BONVERA PARTNERING WITHIN THE SPACE?

Bonvera is partnering with the top companies looking to develop this revolutionary network around the world. These companies purchase and own the devices being placed inhomes and businesses. They pay those homes and businesses for providing this local utility. Bonvera is seen as a preferred distribution partner for these companies because of ourlarge customer base that covers the North America. We have relationships with all ourmembers offering a more trusted and secure method of placing these devices. We also have a world-class front-line customer service department able to help in the deployment, education, and maintenance of this network. Finally, Bonvera is helping educate allcustomers on the art and science of proper placement of these devices in homes andbusinesses to ensure highest earning potential for each device.

19. HOW DO I MAKE MONEY?

The Helium network provides compensation to hotspots primarily based off of two factors:

1. Providing “Proof-of-Coverage”. This is when hot spots send test signals to one another validating that they each exist and are functioning properly. As a hotspot provides Proof-of-Coverage, Helium rewards that device with HNT Tokens.

2. Network Traffic. As internet of things (iOT) devices pass data on the network, hot spots can earn HNT based on traffic flowing through them.

Before a hotspot is placed with a host, we do analysis to estimate if the location will provide adequate earning potential for both Proof-of-Coverage and network traffic.

20. WHEN DO I GET PAID?

Your share earnings will be distributed monthly.

21. DOES HELIUM HAVE ANY TRANSACTION FEES?

Yes. There are fees when transferring HNT or converting HNT to USD. However the fee istypically very small and it can fluctuate with market conditions. (Averaging about .02-.03)

22. HOW DOES HELIUM TRANSACTION FEES IMPACT ME?

This will minimally impact you. Every month the amount of HNT that is transferred to your HNT wallet or converted to dollars to be put in your Bonvera wallet, will have a minimal fee that is automatically deducted by Helium.

23. CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE BOX?

Yes! However, both locations must independently qualify. The devices must be 300 meters at minimum away from another hotspot.

24. WHO DO I CONTACT FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT?

Please contact [email protected] for any technical support questions you may have.

25. WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PUT THIS IN YOUR HOUSE?

Typically, the best location for your device to live is on a second floor (if applicable or a high location) near a window with the most unobstructed view or mounted externally.

1. To evaluate the position in your home, first look on Helium explorer to try and understand where other hotspots are in your area. Then position the hotspot at the point where it has the highest potential to reach other hotspots.

26. IS THERE ANYTHING REQUIRED AFTER SETTING UP THE DEVICE?

Once your device has been successfully set up, please take a picture of where it is located and send it to [email protected]. After that, sit back and relax. If, by chance, in the days following its activation it is not performing well, someone from our team will reach out.

27. HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE BEFORE A FULLY BOOTED HOTSPOT PRODUCES COINS?

It can start accruing earnings as soon as it is fully registered online. It can sometimes take up to 24 hours for it to be fully activated. The number of tokens it earns depends on your hotspot’s ability to provide witnessing to other hotspots.

28. HOW DO I DETERMINE MAXIMUM RESULTS FOR MY HOTSPOT?

In the Helium App you can view how many units your hotspot is witnessing. If it is connecting with many of the other hotspots in your vicinity, ideally 4-6 other hotspots, it is well positioned.

29. SHOULD I PURCHASE THE UPGRADED ANTENNA?

Absolutely! This will ensure that your hotspot is able to produce, as well as flow maximum data through which will help you generate your greatest HNT value.

FAQ’S ABOUT HELIUM CRYPTO MINING

8

STEP 1: DOWNLOAD THE HELIUM APP

To download the official Helium App,open the Apple or Google Playapp stores in your phone. Search for“Helium” and download the HeliumHotspot app that is created byHelium, Inc.

Please note that there are severalnon-official Helium apps that havesimilar names. To setup your HNT walletyou will need to be sure you havedownload the official Helium Hotspotapp. See Helium’s logo and screenshotfrom the Apple App Store to the right.

STEP 2: SET YOUR HNT WALLET

Once you’ve downloaded the official Helium Hotspot App you can use it to setup your HNT wallet so you can receive commissions. Follow the setup steps within the Helium Hotspot App for creating a new wallet. This process will generate 12 random words that will be your pass-word for your Helium Wallet. These passwords are critical to save in a safe place. We recom-mend recording them on paper and storing it securely.

STEP 3: PREPARE YOUR HOME NETWORK TO HOST A HELIUM HOTSPOT

There are several things you can do to prepare you home network.

1. Open Port 44158. This is a network port that is often closed by default on many routers and internet service providers. It needs to be opened for your Helium hotspot to function correctly. Each router has different instructions for how you can go about turning this port on. We recommend searching the name of your router online by using the search phrase, “How to open port 44158.”

For instance, if your internet service provider is Comcast and your router was provided by them, you could search “How do I open port 44158 on Comcast” and you will likely find easy step by step instructions for your situation.

2. Get an ethernet cable. The most reliable way for the hotspot to be connected to the internet is via an ethernet cable. Ethernet is faster than WiFi and there is some evidence that it can result in higher earnings compared to Wi-Fi connected routers.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WHILE WAITING FOR MY HOTSPOT?

9

3. If you can get an ethernet cable to where the hotspot will be positioned this is the best option.

4. If you are going to connect the hotspot via Wi-Fi, we recommend setting up a “Guest Network” on our home Wi-Fi network. You can search for the name of your router online and use the search phrase “How to setup a guest network” to find instructions on how to do this.

STEP 4: PATIENTLY WAIT

While you are waiting for your hotspot, a little bit of patience can help make the process go much smoother. During this initial wait several things are happening.

1. The Bonvera office is working diligently along with our partners to process pending addresses for hotspots. Every address submitted during this time is marked as pending.

2. The Bonvera Helium customer service team will communicate information about your pending address as it receives information concerning it. This includes if your address has been approved or denied. If your initial address is denied a hotspot, you will have the opportunity to provide more addresses for consideration. If an address is approved, the customer service team will reach out to you.
