for several reasons.

The

f i r s t

reason is to update you on the work that is

being

done

in the

north o f S cotland.

Forres,

Scotland to

be

exact . Forres

is a

town

of approx. 10.000 people located about

30

iniles north-e

of

Inverness.

The

work

here

was

started

in

19S6

by

a team of

interns working in

Buckie,

Scotland

with

Sam Burton. Buckie

about 30 miles east of Forres. Robert Caudle has been working

with

the

Forres

church since i t

started. The church meets in

town hall on Sunday mornings and in peoples homes on Sunday

evenings and Thursday even ings .

of 1987.

We

tnen returned to Ozark Christian College to finis

our

degree

work,

graduating in the spring of

1988.

We returne

to

Forres

as

full

time

missionaries

in January of 1990.

^ Since our return in

1990,

the church has

grown

to

an

ave

o.

21

people on Sunday morning and 16 on Sunday evening.

We

average

9 at

our

Thursday evening Bible study. Because we

are

^ large Royal Air Force base we

gain

and lose peo

all

the time. Since January 1990,

we

have immersed 23 people.

Most of these have gone on to other places, though we have

retained

about

7 that we have baptized.

We

have

started training

our congregation in

the

use

of t

Ambassadors Peace Treaty program. We

hope

that this

program w

stimulate our

people in

the area

of evangelism.

second reason for this

is to inform
