The lifting device type 1889 is the most often

used mobile equipment for lifting and

lowering containers if there is no infra-

structure to move heavy loads. Heat, cold,

strong winds, even icy temperatures do not

put haacon lifting devices off balance.

The equipment, with load capacities from 3

t to 20 t, is designed to be operated by just

2 people. For more frequent use an electric

motor drive is recommended. An alternative

manual operation is always possible.

Haacon Engineering has a solution for you

that will fit perfectly – for transport containers,

functional containers, e.g. manned control

centres, decontamination systems, and field

kitchens, whatever you need.

The asymmetric rack profile of the haacon

container lifting devices results in a par-

ticularly efficient load transmission.

The biggest experiment of particle physics

is growing 70 m below the earth’s surface.

Extravagant and lavish looking technology

inside the LHC-modules, it is massive and

precise at the same time.

Scientists from all over the world are working

in Geneva at the simulation of the Big Bang.

They want to discover, what connects the

earth in its heart.

1200 accelerating tubes with a length of

15 m and a total weight of up to 18,000 kg

each have to be joined to a ring of a total

circumference of 27 km. The haacon lifting

and rolling device is being fixed at the

receptors. The module can then be lifted on

plane level inside the narrow tunnel tube.

Haacon has developed the lifting device

especially for the LHC (Large Hadron

Collider) project.

There is not much space left but after the

lashing has been done, the wheel sets may

remain on the container.

1350 systems – the technological highlight

of mobile lifting systems. Sophisticated

systems for the disposal, aircraft-loading,

semi-trailer loading and rolling of containers.

Fixing at standard ISO corners. Load

capacities of 6.5 and 10 t. The main app-

lication of lifting-, rolling- and loading systems

is the air transport of heavy equipment, with

the focus on military logistics. Therefore, the

systems show special characteristics: high-

quality and light materials, robustness,

multiple application possibilities, quick

mounting and dismounting, comfortable

position for the operator (ERGO crank).

These systems can also be used for the

airbus A 400.

The type 1350 systems are always produced

with regard to a project – this means optimal

adaptation to the requirements: cable

breakage brake, swivel bar, cushioned wheel

sets are technical innovations of haacon

hebetechnik.

With the transport unit the support jacks can

be easily moved to the place of operation.

Insertion of the load carrying pivot into the

ISO corner. The load carrying pivot has to

be pushed into the ISO corner.

When the truck leaves, the tank container

is standing solidly, as interim storage, for

charging or discharging.

Contrary to ISO containers, which are set

down for loading, tank containers remain on

the installation height. Haacon support jacks

help – the simplest solution for lifting tanks

up to a total weight of 32 t from the truck.

The type 3108.32 is used for vehicles with

air suspension, type 2942.32 with reducing

gear unit also for vehicles with steel

suspension.

National Standards of Accident Prevention

and Safety Regulations BGV D8, applicable

up to wind force 12. Easy handling and

setting down is possible within a few minutes.

One-man operation, optionally available:

With attached tow bar and towing vehicle,

the container can be rolled on solid ground.

Due to the ERGO crank the operator can lift

the container in an ergonomic working

position.

If the loading space is quite short and you

have to be quick:

Lifting-, Rolling and Loading System 1350 FR.

The eye-catching difference between the

type 1350 and 1350 FR is the single wheel

with heavy-duty solid-rubber tyre. This allows

swivelling of the mounted lifting device to

the front side of the container.

After the initial installation the system remains

on the container and secures its mobility.

The system has to be fixed at the ISO corners

of usual containers with a total weight up to

10 t. Due to the two-part tubes, the system

is compact, and that means that it does not

exceed the silhouette of low containers.

Nevertheless, containers can be lifted up to

the loading height of off-road trucks.

The system can be used for aircraft loading.

Operated by 2 to 4 persons.

The narrow-built wheel set with one single

wheel with additional rubber damping. The

operating lever of the wheel brake can be

seen in the front.
